Charakteristik des bekannten Standes der TechnikCharacteristic of the known state of the art
Various methods are known for removing soot from aqueous suspensions, mechanical separation and work-up of the carbon black from aqueous suspensions being effected after addition of organic, water-immiscible agglomerating agents or using filter aids. According to DE-OS 2,949,286 is from a soot-containing suspension having a carbon black content of 0.5 to 4 wt .-%, which was obtained by washing a soot-containing gas with water, the carbon black by means of hydrocarbons with appropriate mixing hydrophobicized and agglomerated and then foamed paste separated by filtration. Disadvantages of this process are the relatively high costs for the hydrocarbons used as hydrophobizing and agglomerating agents, which are further increased by the apparatus systems required for storing, separating and recycling these hydrocarbons. DD-PS 209,745 describes a filtration process for the discontinuous separation of carbon black from a 0.2 to 2% strength aqueous suspension, where a filter cake with a high solids content is obtained at 30 to 100 bar using a tubular filter press. The disadvantages of this method are the discontinuity and the labor-intensive and thus relatively expensive operation of filter processes. According to DE-OS 2,442,304, an aqueous carbon black slurry with about 1% carbon black is filtered in a two-stage process. Before the second filtration stage lignosulfonate, a by-product of the paper industry, is added as a filter aid. Nacbteilig here is the relatively expensive operation of filters. In addition, the handling of the resulting in the first filtration stage carbon black paste raises technical problems due to their consistency.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
The aim of the invention is to propose an economically favorable process which allows the purification of the waste water obtained in the hydrogen scrubbing in Acetylenrußanlagen with minimal process and device complexity.
Darlegung des Wesens der ErfindungExplanation of the essence of the invention
The object of the invention is to condition the soot particles contained in the waste water, which are prone to levitation and float, using cost-effective waste products such that rapid and as complete as possible sedimentation takes place.
Surprisingly, it has been found that the soot particles contained in the waste water of the hydrogen scrubbing of an acetylene black sedimentation sediment quickly and effectively by mixing with solids-containing wastewater, which is obtained in dicyandiamide production by the lime nitrogen process. The solids content of the effluent dicyandiamide production is 12 to 100g / l, preferably 25 to 60g / l, the solids contained essentially from calcium carbonate and finely divided hydrophilic carbon in the molar ratio 1: 1 with admixtures of other from technical lime nitrogen and its digestion to cyanamide derived Secondary components exist. In addition, the wastewater contains cyanuric derivatives in amounts of 0.02 to 1.5 g N / l. According to the process of the invention, the wastewater produced in the production of acetylene black, which usually contains carbon black in an amount of 100 to 5000 mg / l, which tends in part to float and float, with the solids-containing wastewater from dicyandiamide production, depending on the solids content in the volume ratio of 1: 2.5-4 mixed thoroughly. As a result, the entire carbon black contained in the wastewater is conditioned so that it settles quickly and practically completely with the other solids contained in the wastewater and not separated in any form. Thus, a common sedimentation and landfill of the solid mixture on a scavenging pile is possible, while the soot- and solids-free wastewater can be discharged environmentally friendly. The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to embodiments.
