Material.
Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions
It is known that for laser cutting an additional gas, which occurs together with the laser beam from the laser nozzle, is necessary to blow the material vapor and .Kühlung the edges. Only a few tenths of a millimeter wide kerf a high-quality cut with high cutting performance to ensure. The diameter of the laser nozzle with 1 to 2 mm is always greater than the width of the kerf. The working pressure of the additional gas, called laser gas, is rarely higher than 0.3 MPa. Compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen or argon are preferably used as laser gases, which depends on the laser processing task, mainly the material of the workpiece.
Deshalb sind bei bekannten Laseranlagen mit erhöhtem Aufwand entweder die gesamte La3eranlage oder der Laserkopf eingehaust ο Die Führungseinrichtungen für Laserschneidköpfe sind sehr stabil gebaut, weil nicht nur Maschinenschwingungen vermieden werden sollen, sondern auch das Gewicht des SupportsTechnological disadvantages in the operation of the known laser cutting devices are that for accurate maintenance of the focal position of the laser beam, the nozzle spacing 'between laser nozzle and workpiece must be regulated in the tenth of a millimeter range, which is e.g. is realized with capacitive pitch controls, but requires very complicated and expensive control devices for non-metallic workpieces. Basically, at least one distance sensor, control lines and control circuits and a controllable support drive are necessary for compliance or automatic control of the nozzle spacing, which increases the overall expense for the production and operation of laser processing equipment. Furthermore, in laser processing, it is necessary to protect personnel from laser radiation, including stray radiation. Therefore, in known laser systems with increased effort either the entire La3eranlage or the laser head housed o The guide devices for laser cutting heads are built very stable, because not only machine vibrations should be avoided, but also the weight of the support
mit Führungsbahn, Getriebeiaotor, Teleskoprohr, Kühleinrichtung für Linsen und Spiegel u.a. getragen werden muß.with guideway, geared motor, telescopic tube, cooling device for lenses and mirrors u.a. must be worn.

The invention is based on the object to develop a method and an apparatus for carrying out the method, which ensures compliance with the .erforderlichen nozzle spacing without special effort on energy or control devices, increases the processing power and the uncontrolled leakage of Laserstreustraiilung is prevented.
Erfindungsgemäß wird die Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, indem das Verfahren so gestaltet ist, daß unter Verwendung an sich bekannter Laseranlagen, bei denen Laserbearbeitungsgas unter Druck durch die Laserdüse gepreßt wird und das Laserbearbeitungsgas anschließend im wesentlichen zum Aufbau eines Luftkissens verwendet wird, und daß weiterhin erfindungsgemäß der Druck des als Luftkissentraggas genutzten Anteils des Laserbearbeitungsgases erfaßt und/oder zur Steuerung des Druckes des Lasergases und/oder zur Steuerung des Druckes des als Luftkissentraggas genutzten Anteils des Laserbearbeitungsgases und/oder zur Steuerung der Laseranlage genutzt wirdAccording to the invention the object is achieved by the method is designed so that using laser devices known per se, in which laser processing gas is pressed under pressure through the laser nozzle and the laser processing gas is then used essentially for the construction of an air cushion, and further that according to the invention Pressure of the used as Luftkissentraggas portion of the laser processing gas detected and / or used to control the pressure of the laser gas and / or to control the pressure of the Luftkissentraggas used as proportion of the laser processing gas and / or to control the laser system
Vorrichtungen zur Ausübung des Verfahrens sind erfindungs- Devices for carrying out the method are inventively
According constructed in such a way that around the gas laser head Torzugsweise a concentric to this and in the same direction as the .Laserdüse open, for example, cup-shaped hollow body is arranged, which is sealed to the gas laser nozzle and at its approximately the same height as the laser nozzle ending open edge elastic lips for Has workpiece.
Devices according to the invention can also be designed so that the interior of the pot-shaped hollow body is provided with the gas nozzle or with the interior of the laser nozzle by a bypass line and that a pressure regulator for controlling the pressure in the interior of the cup-shaped hollow body is grinded into this bypass line ,
The advantages of the invention result from its surprisingly simple solution, which, starting from τοπ the previously unknown additional use of the laser gas as Luftkissentraggas for the entire gas laser head to the effective range of the laser beam, an increased static laser gas pressure is generated, which leads to the accelerated expulsion of material vapors , At the same time the exact automatic Einjustierung a nozzle spacing on the pressure of the laser gas selbst'without additional control elements is possible.
An additional advantage of the invention is that in accordance with the invention, the nozzle area of the gas laser head is shielded against leakage of scattered radiation, and that the now possible omission of special support drives and control devices, the cost of material and energy for the manufacture and operation of "gas laser processing systems are substantially reduced can.
... . ·be explained in more detail. The accompanying drawing shows the schematic structure of a device suitable for realizing the method according to the invention. A laser laser head for laser cutting, consisting of telescopic tube 1, lens 2 and laser nozzle 3 with gas nozzle 4 for the supply of 'laser processing gas, i. Cutting gas is disposed over the workpiece 5 to be cut. To the laser nozzle 3 is a potffdrmiger hollow body 6 sealingly mounted concentrically mounted at its approximately the same height as the - laser nozzle 3 ending, open edge elastic * .Lippe 7 which seal the hollow body 6 to the workpiece 5 ». .... ·
Before switching on the laser beam 8, the cutting gas is pressed through the laser nozzle 3 at a pressure of 0.15 MPa, so that in the interior of the hollow body 6, a pressure of 0.08 IJSPa. builds and at the same time the entire laser cutting head is raised, with a nozzle spacing of 2 mm builds up between the mouth 9 of the laser nozzle 3 and the workpiece 5. Thus, when the laser beam 8 is switched on, the focus 10 of the laser beam 8 is applied to the surface of the workpiece 5, which simultaneously produces the 0.2 mm wide kerf 11, whereby, after continuous laser cutting, the nozzle air gap escapes through the kerf gas. permitted value is reduced to the constant final value of 1.9 mm.
