Description
' .-"' ' The invention relates to a method for recovering mercury from aqueous solutions containing mercury compounds. It is applicable to the separation, concentration and subsequent recovery of the mercury from aqueous process solutions or waste water from the chemical industry. ' .- "''
' .high toxicity and for economic reasons due to the relatively high price of mercury necessary and appropriate. '.
Der Nachteil dieses Verfahrens besteht insbe- '.For the removal and recovery of mercury from aqueous solutions, a number of different extraction processes are known. Thus, according to US-PS 3,785,803, the mercury is extracted in the form of anionic Ghlorokomplexe using quaternary ammonium salts. A disadvantage, however, in their application is that a high addition of chloride is necessary, which is both cost and environmental reasons, a burden 1 , and that for sea extraction of mercury ethylenediamine or propylenediamine must be used or the extraction of mercury by a time-consuming reduction process with addition of metals. For the recovery of the mercury extracted with quaternary ammonium salts, a decomposition distillation is also proposed (DS-OS 2 310 341). According to US Pat. No. 4,151,077, mercaptans, thioethers or thiophene are used as organic complexing agents for mercury, according to DS-OS, 2,718,457, also mercaptans, compounds which, however, have disadvantages in particular in their long-term stability under process conditions. because they are changed by. In their functional group to be added or already contained in the process water oxidizing agent. In addition, the process is burdened by the need for a modifier to prevent three-phase formation. stet. U.S. Patent 3,765,205 discloses the use of sulfides and disulfides without the use of a diluent. This requires a high demand for extractant (10 to 30 % of the aqueous phase) and a high expenditure for the distillative recovery. US Pat. No. 3,760,057 describes a process for the extraction of mercury after conversion into the iodide with octyl alcohol. The disadvantage of this method insbe '.

Die GB-PS 1 529 030 beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Sxtraktion von Quecksilber mit tertiären Aminen, die jedoch nur bei niedrigen pH-Werten anzuwenden sind und unter diesen Bedingungen vorhandene Sisen(III)ionen als Anionkomplexe zwangsläufig mit in die organische Phase extrahieren, aus der sie durch eine .Zwischenextraktion wieder entfernt werden müssen.especially in the additional Eeageηzbedarf of expensive alkali iodides, on the concentration of both the extraction and the reextraction is controlled and mineral acid. British Pat. No. 1,529,030 describes a process for the extraction of mercury with tertiary amines which, however, are only to be used at low pH values and which under these conditions necessarily present sis (III) ions as anion complexes with the organic phase, from US Pat they have to be removed by an intermediate extraction.
