Description
At the Plattenrandzonen arise step-like gradations. In a special case, the geometric differences in length without affecting the plate edge zones in the plate compensate. This is done, as shown in AT-PS 355 322 (B32 B23 / 08 Int Cl.), Whenever a plate is reformed in the middle of the plate with maintained surface parallelism of the plate edge zones. In any case, however, the thermoplastic adhesive layers of the softforming plate plasticized in the technological phase of the post-forming serve as a sliding plane between the geometric resin-impregnated individual paper layers which move geometrically relative to each other. Due to the viscous viscosity of the adhesive at the specified processing temperature is achieved that the adhesive joints remain closed even when the post-deformation is realized only by using bending forces, so not necessarily by applying a full-surface pressing pressure on the surfaces of the molded part to be produced. After the post-forming and re-cooling of the post-formed postforming plate, the thermoplastic binder solidifies in the adhesive joints and thereby connects the resin-impregnated individual paper layers to each other in a shear-resistant and tension-resistant manner, thus giving the overall composite mechanical stiffness.
This method is extremely limited for basic procedural-technological reasons with respect to the feasible deformation possibilities, the realizable component thicknesses and thus with respect to the possible applications of the moldings produced according to the method. In particular, the relatively low shaping capabilities of the plates in a maximum of 200mm wide plates (edge) areas in anyway production-limited limited disc formats of a maximum of 2800mm χ 1300mm χ 10mm are disadvantageous. In connection with also always mirror-smooth plastic surfaces of the semi-finished products, the application possibilities are reduced to moderately resilient construction or cladding elements in kitchen and Badmöbelfertigung as well as applications in the social field such as sanitary objects. The aforementioned disadvantages result from the material concept itself. Since the aim of the process development for softforming technology consisted in the overall slight bendability of plate-shaped laminates, the use of very thin, namely individually easily bendable, laminate layers was oriented to the use of paper layers. However, paper layers have only a low transverse tensile strength. As a result, the resin impregnation of the papers became necessary, as was well known in the production of thermoset pressed laminates. The choice of applied thermoplastic adhesives resulted from the well-known adhesion of certain thermoplastics to the present synthetic resins. The eligible adhesives are very viscous in the temperature range of 130 ° C-170 ° C. Under all these conditions, as well as with regard to the stress relationships, as they occur in the cross-section of a bending-loaded composite material, as well as a softforming semifinished product in the phase of post-deformation, the limited deformability of the softforming plates can be explained. The laminate layers of a postforming laminate are exposed to considerable tensile or compressive stresses in longitudinal ply elongation, in particular in the semifinished product curves produced according to the method, with increasing spacing of the semifinished product curvatures from the relevant plate edge and consequently with an increase in the viscous, shear-resistant thermoplastic layers increase effective thrust areas formed. Since the individual, embrittled by the made resin impregnation paper webs primarily a small Druckbzw. Knickbelastbarkeit in longitudinal position elongation, it comes even at Randabwinkelungen of softforming plates in a wider edge area than 200mm to buckling in the concave area of integrally formed radii. For larger degrees of forming continue to tear on the convex side of the cover layers, whereby the range of non-destructive Nachverformbarkeit the laminate is finally exceeded. These conditions are even more unfavorable with increasing laminate thickness. The material thickness of 10mm is therefore considered to be the absolute upper limit for postforming boards under the application rules applicable to this plastic material group. On the other hand, with 10 mm thick components no high performance characteristics with respect to mechanical Teilebelastbarkeit to realize.
This problem arises in the technical solution given in DE-OS 2856281 (B32 B23 / 08), which describes a double-sided decorating foil-coated thermoplastic sheet, but the extended shaping possibilities and variable thickness raster dimensions are only at the expense of an even more unfavorable material cost situation compared to the aforementioned technical solution The thickness of the laminate is different at the different regions of the molded body produced by the method, which creates design problems in the application of the parts.
All of the abovementioned technical solutions in which the laminates in question contain thermoplastic constituents have a further essentially common defect. The applied thermoplastics have relatively low softening points in all cases described. Thus, the thermal capacity of the molding produced according to the molding is only comparatively low and the tendency to cold flow, d. H. for creep deformation under continuous load, in some cases even for recovery without external load high.
The aim of the invention is a method that allows high productivity and low manufacturing, especially material costs, the production of different, even geometrically complicated shaped parts of Lagenwerkstoffen.wie such as wood veneers.
The object of the invention is to propose a technological process for the production of molded parts from ply materials based on the known technological principle of the Nachformung of laminates in Postforming Üualität with the technological process stages of the planar material education, Werkstoffnachverformung and material hardening, the reduction the manufacturing, in particular the material costs, the manufacturability of mechanically highly resilient moldings of thickness up to 150 mm with extreme geometrical shaping possibilities guaranteed. For the feasibility of the extreme Nachverformbarkeit the individual layers of the layer material indertechnologischen process step of the material Nachverformung Übe »lengths up to 2000 mm and by amounts up to 8mm against each move. The surface of the layer material should not necessarily be a plastic surface and the mechanical strength of the layer material should be made cheaper compared to the known soft-forming plates, especially with regard to the wear of the tools used for laminate processing.
According to the invention, this object is achieved by non-impregnated layers of wood and fiber materials of a thickness of 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm, preferably wood veneer layers, in the technological process stage of the planar Werkst off education, using a specific pressure of 0.5 MPa to 2, 5 MPa over a period of time of 10 s to 120 s per 1 mm pressed material thickness and with simultaneous application of a pressing temperature of 155 ° C to 200 ° C with layers between pure, unmodified high-pressure polyethylene of a layer thickness of 0.10 mm to 0, 30mm to a flat laminate. In the technological process stage of the material Nachverformung the bending deformation of the laminate takes place at a laminate temperature of 155 0 C to 200 ° C. With the transition from the thin paper individual layers of the well-known postforming plates to layers in the thickness range of 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm, the prerequisites for a new quality of repliable layer materials are created. While the individual resin-impregnated paper layers of a softforming plate are not able to absorb the tensile and compressive stresses in the longitudinal extent of elongation that arise in the laminate with strong post-deformation levels, this problem exists with layer thicknesses of greater than 0.5 mm and based on the mechanical load-bearing capacity of Wood and fiber materials barely, that is, for a deformable layer material constructed of comparatively thick individual layers, the basic deformability limits of hitherto known deformable laminates are theoretically eliminated. In fact, however, the substitution of (resin impregnated) thin layers by (also resin impregnated) thick layers other problems arise. It has been found that - in order to achieve the same or lower bending radii as with thin paper layers with thick individual layers of wood and fiber materials, the material-embrittling resin impregnation of the thick layer must be dispensed with, which creates new problems. First, eliminates the layer strengthening, which manifests itself in only a minor transverse tensile strength of the laminate, and secondly, with the previously commonly used thermoplastic adhesives and the associated adhesive application rates no sufficiently firm bonding of the layers more to realize. Surprisingly, it has been found that when using polyethylene as a thermoplastic adhesive, which is otherwise generally known as a release agent in connection with adhesions and coatings, as well as compliance with the technological parameters of the invention, all the above problems can be solved. The following happens in the technological process stage of material formation. The heat-plastified state with a particularly favorable viscosity behavior and applied with a defined application amount applied polyethylene is pressed by the education applied in the material flat pressure with certain proportions of material in the pores of the material according to porous wood and fiber material layers, but a continuous polyethylene film between the Layers is preserved. This results, on the one hand, in a polyethylene impregnation of the individual layers with the effect of a later overall laminate consolidation with regard to transverse tensile strength and, on the other hand, a firm mechanical anchoring of the polyethylene layers to the adjoining wood and fiber materials in the sense of micro-dowelling. In comparison to the adhesion mechanism "sheet material thermoplastic" in softforming plates, a predominantly chemical compound has been converted into a predominantly microforming compound, which has comparatively better overall properties in the present application further, not yet called, but also standing in connection with the use of thick layers problem overcome. wood and fiber materials of the thickness range of 0.5mm to 5.0mm tend to temperature effects of 14O 0 C to 200 0 C very greatly due to drying material faults What would be in the case of replicable layer materials to Klebfugenöffnungen in the compressed, but (after the material formation and Nachverformung) still hot laminate would be excluded i the material formation is exerted by the effect of pressing temperature, pressing pressure and pressing an ironing effect on the layers of the laminate and remaining efforts for layer rejection are intercepted by the viscous polyethylene layers.
The layer materials produced according to the invention have further advantages over the generally known softforming plates. The thermal load capacity and the deformation behavior under continuous load are significantly improved by the relatively high softening point of the polyethylene used compared to thermoplastics otherwise known to be used. The material wear during processing of post-formed semi-finished products is lower, since the rapid tool wear results in the processing of soft-forming plates from the hard resin material components and the moldings produced according to the invention contain no synthetic resin material components. The total costs for the base materials to be used are low in comparison with the layer materials produced according to the invention. This results from the relation of softforming plates more favorable ratio of material fractions based on cellulose to plastic or plastic material shares and from the overall lower material bulk density. For the visible surfaces of the layer material elements different manifestations, such as wood structures, can be realized. The invention will be explained below in four embodiments.

After all the layers have been heated and the polyethylene films have melted, the resulting laminated wood board is removed from the press. The still viscous adhesive prevents the opening of the glued joints between the veneer layers and allows the manipulation and the cutting bzW: the milling of the still hot laminated wood slab into strip-shaped parts. After rapid further transport of the parts or intermediate storage in heat-insulating or heated chambers, such a strip with a temperature of even 170X by hand around a the shape of the desired molding corresponding teaching bent or wrapped around. For accelerated solidification of the adhesive, the entire assembly is blown with air. In this way bent plywood parts for chair constructions were produced.
Three layers of a known postforming, thermoplastically bonded wood fiber material a thickness of 4 mm are layered together with two 0.2 mm thick, arranged between the layers Polyethylene film for package layers.
The outer layers are covered with an additional two 0.2 mm thick polyethylene films, each with a 0.8mm thick beech veneer layer. This package is pressed at a temperature of 180 0 C and applying a specific Flachpreßdruckes 15min long and subsequently deformed in a bending device into a quarter-circular shaped part with an inner radius of 30 mm. This molded part is used as a border for carcass furniture application.
Die Verformung erfolgt zu einem einseitig offenen kastenartigen Element mit Innenradien an den Bauteilabwinkelungen von 10mm.According to another example, each two intersecting veneer layers of 0.8 mm thickness are used as cover layers of a layer material, as a middle layer are conventional chipboard of 14mm thickness for the later planar portions of the molded body and 8 layers of 1.8 mm thick veneers for used later molded areas of the molded part. All layers are layered with intermediate layers of 0.2 mm thick polyethylene layers. The pressing takes place at a pressing time of 30 minutes analogously to the embodiments 1 and 2. The deformation takes place to a box-shaped element open on one side with internal radii at the Bauteilabwinkelungen of 10mm.
A layer of a known nachformbaren, bonded thermoplastic based on polyethylene wood material of a thickness of 3mm is coated on both sides with 0.7 mm thick beech veneer and pressed at a temperature of 160 0 C in a flat press. The specific Flachpreßdruck is 1.0MPa, the pressing time 5 min. The polyethylene content in the wood material is so dimensioned that the intermediate bringing of polyethylene is unnecessary for the purpose of covering the top layer, since quantities of polyethylene are pressed out of the surfaces of the wood-based panel by the material compaction in the technological process stage of material formation. After Heißverpressung the laminate, the flat plate is cooled in a recooling press so far that the solidification occurs. Thereafter, if necessary in a different than the plate-producing operation, the plate is followed by plate storage and conditioning the mechanical plate processing by sawing, drilling, milling and wide surface grinding. Only then the plate is replasticized at 160 0 C and post-formed in the known manner and recooled as a molded part. There are formed furniture front elements.
