It is known to polymerize vinyl monomers, in particular vinyl chloride, in a submitted PVC dispersion. This concerns both the principle of suspension and microsuspension.
Thus, in the case of VC-S polymerization, the monomer is added continuously to the reactor, in addition to problems of controlling the reaction, a constant influence on the grain formation process takes place and thus very nonuniform products are formed (DE-OS 2,125,015). It is also known to supply a portion of the monomer after the beginning of the pressure drop to the polymerization mixture, possibly with further initiator (DE-OS 2,461,082). It must be added either from the beginning of the polymerization of a very high InitiatorSehaIt, so that a very non-uniform reaction rate with pronounced ^ elphasen occurs, or the subsequently added initiator leads again to an amplified and difficult to control reaction.
·Also in the microsuspension of vinyl chloride is known to introduce in a second stage in a PVC-MS latex more monomer, which represents the multiple amount of the submitted polymer and thus a Teilchenneubildung with the resulting qualitative disadvantages means (DE-OS 1,745,220 ). These disadvantages are also not resolved by an initiation of the second stage - initiator from the first stage and activation by means of complexes (DE-OS 2 427 385). ·
