Titel der ErfindungTitle of the invention
Oberflächenaktive Mittel als Zusatz in Öl- bzw. CremebädernSurfactants as an additive in oil or cream baths
Anwendungsgebiet der ErfindungField of application of the invention
The invention relates to surfactants, as they can be used mainly for the production of cosmetic and pharmaceutical oil or cream baths based on lipids.
Charakteristik der bekannten technischen LösungenCharacteristic of the known technical solutions
The continuing trend in the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industry to produce oil or cream baths based on lipids has led to an increasing interest in oil-soluble surfactants.
However, the requirements placed on the performance characteristics of an oil-soluble surfactant are manifold: they must be anhydrous, have good foaming power, mix with the lipids customary for the preparation of the oil or cream baths and the special skin compatibility of the cosmetic or cosmetic ., Pharmaceutical raw and auxiliary materials. It is therefore not surprising that such surfactants could not yet be provided in satisfactory quality. Although anhydrous surfactants are obtained according to DE-OS 1 443 250, they are only water-soluble and can not be mixed with lipids. The surfactants according to DE-AS 1 074 570 are unsuitable because they are predominantly water-soluble, can absorb only small amounts of exclusively paraffin oil and also do not have the required skin compatibility. The oil-soluble, anionic surfactants obtained according to DE-OS 2,032,635 are completely unsuitable for cosmetic and pharmaceutical purposes and are commonly used as detergents for dry cleaning or as additives in lubricants and anti-corrosion agents.
Ziel der ErfindungObject of the invention
It is an object of the invention to develop surfactants that mix with the usual for the production of oil or cream baths vegetable, animal, paraffinic and synthetic lipids, have a good foaming power and meet the special requirements, such as the skin compatibility the surfactants used in cosmetics and pharmacy.
Darlegung des Wesens der ErfindungExplanation of the essence of the invention
It has surprisingly been found that mixtures of per se known alkyl sulfates, alkylpolyglycol ether sulfates and alkylphenol polyglycol ether sulfates with the these alkyl sulfates are non-ionogenic compounds surfactant «means with the required performance properties. These mixtures were obtained by partial sulfation followed by neutralization with amine. For sulfation, the conventional straight-chain or branched-chain alkanols with a chain length of C 1 to C 22 , alkyl polyglycol ethers of the stated alkanols with 1 to 8 moles of EO or alkylphenol polyglycol ethers having a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl radical of C 1 to C 2 and 5 to 10 moles of EO in the molecule. The sulfation carried out by known processes and the usual procedure is between 5 and 95%, preferably between 30 and 70 % of the theoretical conversion. To neutralize the acidic esters contained in the reaction mixture, amines, such as monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, dimethylaminoethanol, diethylaminoethanol, aminomethylpropanediol or aminomethylpropanol were used.
Sie lassen sich mit den zur Herstellung vonThese blends are oil-soluble surfactants, are light in color, and have the desired universal utility properties. They can be combined with those for the production of
Oil or cream baths mix the usual plant, animal, paraffinic and synthetic lipids and show good shade. They have a particularly good skin compatibility.
These surfactants may be used in admixture with perfumes, preservatives, fatty acid alkylolamides and the usual lipids in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for the preparation of oil and cream baths.
