Description
Alternativní motorová nafta obsahující použitý fritovací olejAlternative diesel fuel containing used frying oil
Oblast technikyField of technology
Technické řešení se týká alternativní motorové nafty obsahující vhodné množství použitého fritovacího oleje. Vhodným zastoupením použitého fritovacího oleje ve standardní zpracovávané surovině v podobě atmosferického plynového oleje je možné produkovat alternativní motorovou naftu kvalitativně srovnatelnou s běžně dostupnou motorovou naftou. The technical solution concerns alternative diesel fuel containing a suitable amount of used frying oil. By appropriate representation of the used frying oil in the standard processed raw material in the form of atmospheric gas oil, it is possible to produce an alternative diesel fuel comparable in quality to commonly available diesel fuel.
Dosavadní stav technikyCurrent state of the art
Rafinérský průmysl produkuje motorovou naftu především hydrogenací středních destilátů ropy při podmínkách vysoké teploty a zvýšeného tlaku. Jedním z hlavních rafinérských procesů produkujících nezanedbatelné množství suroviny pro vymíchávání motorové nafty je technologie katalytické hydrogenační rafinace atmosférického plynového oleje. V současné době povinnost pro výrobce, dovozce a distributory přimíchávat do motorové nafty maximálně 7 % obj. biosložky zvané FAME (fatty acid methyl ester - methylestery mastných kyselin). Tato povinnost vychází z normy (ČSN EN 590 - Motorová paliva - Motorové nafty - Technické požadavky a metody zkoušení) sledující kvalitativní parametry produkované motorové nafty dodávané na trh.The refining industry produces diesel mainly by hydrogenating middle distillates of crude oil under conditions of high temperature and elevated pressure. One of the main refining processes producing a non-negligible amount of raw material for mixing diesel fuel is the technology of catalytic hydrogenation refining of atmospheric gas oil. Currently, manufacturers, importers and distributors are required to mix a maximum of 7% by volume of bio-components called FAME (fatty acid methyl ester) into diesel fuel. This obligation is based on the standard (ČSN EN 590 - Motor fuels - Diesel fuel - Technical requirements and testing methods) monitoring the qualitative parameters of the produced diesel fuel supplied to the market.
Vzhledem ke snižování emisí CO2 je FAME výhodné začleňovat do motorové nafty, jakožto zástupce obnovitelného zdroje, do značné míry podobného stávajícím uhlovodíkovým palivům a s vyšším obsahem kyslíku. Mezi další výhody patří mazivostní vlastnosti a také možnost skladovat motorovou naftu s příměsí biosložky ve standardních nádržích.FAME is a biocomponent based on methyl esters of fatty acids of plant origin. It is normally produced by a chemical process called transesterification and can be used without any further modification in diesel engines. Due to the reduction of CO2 emissions, it is advantageous to incorporate FAME into diesel fuel as a representative of a renewable resource, largely similar to existing hydrocarbon fuels and with a higher oxygen content. At the same time, the oxygen content is considered a significant advantage, as it improves the combustion process in the diesel engine. Other advantages include lubricity properties as well as the possibility to store diesel fuel with an admixture of biocomponents in standard tanks.
The disadvantage of diesel with FAME admixture is that it is a 1st generation biofuel, which has been slowly being phased out recently. Another disadvantage of FAME is that it must be produced by the chemical process of transesterification. This disadvantage is at least partly removed by alternative diesel fuel containing used frying oil, which does not need to be subjected to chemical processing, according to the technical solution.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
Alternative diesel fuel is characterized by the addition of used frying oil. As part of co-processing, such an addition of used frying oil was added to the standard raw material (atmospheric gas oil) that the resulting mixture contained 10 to 30 wt.%. of this component in hydrogenated form. The thus prepared and homogenized mixtures were subjected to the process conditions of catalytic hydrogenation refining for the purpose of producing alternative diesel fuel.
The advantage of alternative diesel mixed with used frying oil is that it contains almost no sulfur and is not a 1st generation biofuel.
Another advantage of the prepared alternative diesel fuel containing used frying oil is that it is a chemical recycling of liquid waste obtained from the food industry, without any further treatment, for the production of a refined product in the form of fuel - diesel fuel.
- 1 CZ 37659 UI- 1 CZ 37659 UI
Last but not least, the advantage of alternative diesel fuel containing used frying oil is that the production of used frying oil is more sustainable and its quality is not affected by countless aspects as in the case of the use of pyrolysis oils from the depolymerization of plastics or used tires.
