Anamorfní optický systém s odraznou štěrbinou pro hyperspektrální zobrazování v dlouhovlnné infračervené oblastiAnamorphic optical system with reflective slit for hyperspectral imaging in the long-wave infrared region
Oblast technikyField of technology
The technical solution relates to a new arrangement of an anamorphic optical system with a reflective slit for hyperspectral imaging in the long-wave infrared region, intended in particular for use in optical systems.
To vyžaduje mnoho optických ploch zajišťujících korekci optických aberací.One of the possible implementations of the optical system of hyperspectral systems is a combination of imaging slit spectrographs with a narrow slit and an objective or optical system projecting the scanned scene onto this slit. Another possibility is to use the interferometric principle described, for example, in U.S. Pat. No. 7,735,682 B1. These methods monitor a section of the captured scene. The whole scene is then captured using the movement of the device or a hanging mirror system (pushbroom). The hyperspectral system with a slit spectrograph thus consists of three imaging systems, namely an input lens, a collimator and a focusing lens. When designing spectrograph systems for the long-wave infrared region, great emphasis is placed on the luminosity of the system, ie in order to achieve the highest possible flux of radiation to the detector. In the case of compact spectrographs, a small size and a short focal length are also required. The combination of high luminosity and short focal length leads to the need to use complex optical systems that render a wide field of view at high luminosity. This requires many optical surfaces to correct optical aberrations.
Swanson and col.: „Anamorphic Imaging Spectrometer“ Proc. One of the ways to reduce the complexity of a high-brightness hyperspectral system is a design with an anamorphic adapter with a slit, where there is only one focusing lens in the whole system. In a known embodiment published in R.C. Swanson et al .: Anamorphic Imaging Spectrometer Proc. SPIE 6940, Infrared Technology and Applications XXXIV, 694010 (16 April 2008), the adapter consists of two off-axis cylindrical parabolic surfaces oriented so that a filter slit is located in their common focus. A known problem is the adjustment of the transfer elements, when it is necessary to match the positions of the three optical off-axis elements. One way is to manufacture both mirrors on a common substrate using precision machining methods, as described in the article above. In the case of long mirror surfaces, there are problems with vibrations during machining due to their insufficient rigidity and the need to create a mechanically rigid mirror structure. The design is difficult to adapt for cheaper production by precision pressing. In this publication, the two mirror surfaces are identical, with the adapter working ideally for rays coming from an infinitely distant scene. When the common focusing lens is refocused on a closer subject, the image of the slit on the chip is blurred.
: „A Reflective Spectroscopic Slit And Its Application Journal of the British Astronomical Association, Vol. 91, P.261, 1981.The aim of the present technical solution is to create an anamorphic optical adapter, which is easily detectable, for a hyperspectral imaging system in the range of 7 to 12 μm with a spectral resolution of 10 cm 1 . The imaging system has a field of view of at least 18 ° in the direction of the slit, a focusing lens with a focal length f = 19 mm at an aperture of F / l and a detector with a resolution of 640x480 with a pixel size of 17 μm. Another goal of the technical solution is to enable focusing on an object in the range of distances from 20 to oo m without decreasing the spectral resolution above 12 cm 1 . The use of a reflective slit as a replacement for the classical needle-shaped transmission slit in astronomical spectrographs was published in an article by Gavin MV: “A Reflective Spectroscopic Slit And Its Application Journal of the British Astronomical Association, Vol. 91, P.261, 1981.
