Abstract

As for the method of installing a pipeline cable clamping device with repeated tensioning of the fastening tape (11), in the first phase of installation, the spiral wound fastening tape (11) is gradually expanded at the point of installation by the expansion mechanism of the installation device, thus increasing its diameter until it adheres to the inner surface of the pipeline with its entire outer perimeter. In the next phase of installation, at least one tensioning action of the fastening tape (11) follows, which is performed by repeatedly pre-tensioning and releasing the springs (139) of the travel element (127) of the clamping lock (12) by the fastening mechanism of the installation device, while always fixing the previously reached position of tensioning of the fastening tape (11). The tensioning cycle is repeated until the phase when the fastening tape can no longer be tensioned.Furthermore, an installation device for performing this method is described.
