Description
Spoj nosných sendvičových panelů dřevostavebConnection of load-bearing sandwich panels of wooden buildings
Oblast technikyTechnical field
Technické řešení se týká kotvení sendvičových panelů výztužných stěn vícepodlažních dřevostaveb. The technical solution concerns anchoring of sandwich panels of reinforcing walls of multi-storey wooden buildings.
Dosavadní stav technikyBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Wood as an organic and renewable material has a great perspective in housing construction. From the point of view of thermo-technical properties, great emphasis is placed on effective composition of the perimeter structures and sufficient thermal insulation. One of the possible solutions is load-bearing sandwich panels with polystyrene core and sheath made of OSB boards.
The big advantages of the sandwich construction include a favorable ratio between panel stiffness and weight, easy handling, the possibility of making cuts and adjustments directly on site. The disadvantages, on the other hand, include a lower value of the modulus of elasticity compared to other conventional construction materials, and generally lower load-bearing capacity of the joints. Joints of timber structures are usually made either by mechanical means or glued. Mechanical joints can be divided into classical (carpentry) and joints made using steel elements. These can be dowel, stud, nail, screw, dowel, punched dark and many others.
Joints of sandwich panels can be divided into three groups according to the most commonly used currently. The first type is a fastener - embedded square profile. This solution of panel connection is suitable in places of point load of the structure, eg placing of wooden beam, etc. The polystyrene core of the panel is recessed by the thickness of the connecting element with respect to the OSB board sheath. The contact surface of the OSB and the fastener is formed by an adhesive bond. The pressure of the glued joint is usually secured by steel clips with a prescribed distance. Contact between the polystyrene core and the fastener is ensured by polyurethane foam. This type of joint is used for panel edging, eg for window and door openings. At the same time, this detail is a key element for anchoring the panels. Other joint variants are designed for vertical joints of panels. The second variant of the joint is an inserted panel with the same dimensions as the inserted wooden element. This solution ensures an uninterrupted layer of polystyrene core. The third option is to connect the panels using an inserted "I" beam. This type of panel connection is typical of the roof cladding.
An important detail of the construction of multi-storey wooden buildings is the anchoring of the reinforcing walls, which must withstand horizontal loads and have sufficient rigidity so that the limit horizontal deformations of the building are not exceeded. A very important element of the reinforcing walls is their reinforcing stiffness and sufficient anchorage capacity to the foundation. For sandwich panels with a polystyrene core, the limiting factor is the load-bearing capacity of the horizontal timber element over which the panel is anchored to the foundation sill. The tensile stresses in the skin of the panel are transmitted through a glued joint to a horizontal wooden element that is anchored to the foundation concrete slab. Appropriate adjustment of the anchoring detail can prevent tensile failure of the wooden element by pulling perpendicular to the fibers.
Podstata technického řešeníThe essence of the technical solution
První roznášecí deskou a spodním dřevěným lemovacím prvkem procházejí z vrchního panelu do horního dřevěného lemovacího prvku spodního panelu kolmo a rovnoběžně s podélnou osou panelu symetricky umístěné horní výztužné vruty. Analogicky druhou roznášecí deskou a horním dřevěným lemovacím prvkem procházejí ze spodního panelu do spodního dře- 1 CZ 26711 U1 věného lemovacího prvku horního panelu kolmo a rovnoběžně s podélnou osou panelu symetricky umístěné spodní výztužné vruty, které jsou polohovány mezi horní výztužné vruty. Podélnou osou nad sebou souose uložených panelů prochází přes první roznášecí desku, spodní dřevěný lemovací pásek horního panelu, OSB desku, druhou roznášecí desku a horní dřevěný lemovací pásek spodního panelu závitová tyč opatřená z obou stran podložkami a maticí. Z vnější, tedy externí, strany je přes nad sebou uložené sousední panely umístěn ocelový vyztužující pásek upevněný k plášti těchto sousedních panelů pomocí mechanických spojovacích prvků zasahujících do jádra panelu. The above disadvantages are overcome by the present solution of sandwich panel connection. The panel consists of a core shell where the shell is bordered by wooden edging elements on the perimeter and an OSB board passes between the panels of the individual floors. The essence of the novel solution is that a first distribution board made of wood-based material is placed above the lower wooden flashing element and a second distribution board made of wood-based material is located below the upper wooden flashing element. The first stiffening plate and the lower timber flashing member extend from the top panel to the upper timber flashing member of the lower panel perpendicularly and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the panel, the upper reinforcing screws. By analogy with the second distribution plate and the upper timber flashing element, the lower reinforcing screws, which are positioned between the upper reinforcing screws, extend from the lower panel to the lower timber of the upper panel perpendicularly and parallel to the longitudinal axis of the panel. A threaded rod provided with washers and a nut on both sides passes through the longitudinal axis of the superimposed panels over the first spacer plate, the lower wooden trim strip of the upper panel, the OSB plate, the second distribution plate and the upper wooden trim strip of the lower panel. From the outside, i.e., the external side, overlying adjacent panels is a steel reinforcing strip attached to the shell of these adjacent panels by means of mechanical fasteners extending into the core of the panel. The distances between the screws are given by the recommendation EN 1995-1-1.
The advantage of the new solution is that the tensile strength of the joint of a pair of reinforcing wall panels is strengthened here and the reinforcing stiffness of the whole wall is increased. The failure usually occurs in the place of the glued joint in the wooden flashing element of the panel, most often it is a tensile failure perpendicular to the fibers of the wooden flashing element. The region of concentrated tensile stress at the location of the mechanical fastener is therefore provided with a distribution board of wood-based material and the panel flashing element is supplemented at the point of tensile stress by screws which are embedded in the flashing member of the joined panel. Another element of the new anchoring of the reinforcing walls of sandwich panels is the delimitation of the contact gap between the panel skin and the foundation sill using a plastic or steel strip. By ensuring direct contact, the panel is reduced by horizontal loading in the plane of the panel.

The threaded rods 6 are located in the tensile stress regions of the wood flashing elements 3.1 and 3.2 with a maximum axial distance according to the static calculation. From the outside, a steel reinforcing strip 7 is fastened to the casing 1 of these connecting panels by means of mechanical fasteners 8 extending into the core 2 of the panel. The distances between the screws 7 are given by the recommendation of EN 1995-1-1. The dimensions of the first distribution plate 4.1 and the second distribution plate 4.2 are derived on the basis of the thickness of the panels used according to the static calculation.
Homí panel je shora nasunut na spodní dřevěný lemovací prvek 3.1 a první lepený spoj 11.1 je zajištěn prvními ocelovými sponkami 12.1.The sandwich panels are connected as follows. The upper timber flashing member 3.2 is provided in the tensile stress regions with a second distribution plate 4.2 secured by the lower reinforcement screws 5.2, and at the point of passage of the threaded rod 6 it is provided with an opening and a washer to prevent slipping of the nut. The contact surface of the core 2 of the panel is provided with poly-2 26711 U1 urethane foam. The contact surfaces of the skin and the panel and the upper wooden flashing element 3.2 are provided with polyurethane adhesive. The pressure of the second glued joint 11.2 is secured by the second steel clips 12.2. Ceiling beams 10 are fastened to the brackets in the panel and the ceiling is flushed from the OSB board 9 to the exterior edge of the panels. At the points where the threaded rods 6 pass, the OSB plate 9 is provided with holes. On the OSB plate 9 a lower wooden flashing element 3.1 is placed and at the point of passage of the threaded rod 6 there is placed a first distribution plate 4.1 secured by upper reinforcing screws 5.1. The threaded rod 6 is secured with a washer nut. A polyurethane adhesive is applied to the contact surfaces of the panel sheath 1 and the lower wood trim member 3.1 and the polyurethane foam is applied to the contact surfaces of the core 2 of the panel and the lower trim member 3.1. The top panel is slid from above onto the lower wooden flashing member 3.1 and the first glued joint 11.1 is secured by the first steel clips 12.1.
In this way it is possible to strengthen the tensile stress of the joint of the panels under horizontal load in the plane of the panel of the reinforcing walls. The tensile stress in the panel sheath 1 is distributed to the reinforced lower wood flashing element 3.1 of the panel by a first distribution plate 4.1 with upper screws 5.1 and again through the threaded rod 6 the tensile stress is introduced into the upper flashing element 3.2 and passes back into the panel floor I.
The new way of joining reinforcing load-bearing walls of sandwich panels is designed for multi-storey wooden buildings. As the height of the building increases, the demands on stiffness, anchoring and joining of reinforcing wall panels increase. The new way of joining sandwich panels allows the transfer of higher horizontal forces on the structure to the foundation.
