Abstract
Teplota, na niž se při tom stačovaná směs zahřeje, měřená v celém průřezu stlačované směsi, nepřesáhne 80 °C a lokální zvýšení teploty při mechanické změně v průběhu stlačování je limitováno mezní teplotou 350 °C.A method for treating non-absorbent powder materials, such as toners, waxes and polymeric materials, in particular waste, for subsequent transport, storage and utilization, is that the non-absorbent powder material is first mixed in a homogenizer with an absorbent material of particle size from 1 µm to 20 mm and with the liquid component, or intermediate, pre-treatment of absorbent material with a liquid component such as sludge. The homogenized mixture thus obtained, with a minimum weight ratio of 3% liquid component, is compacted by compression to 40MPa. The temperature at which the mixture is heated, measured over the entire cross-section of the compressed mixture, does not exceed 80 ° C and the local temperature increase during the mechanical change during compression is limited to 350 ° C.
Description
Způsob zpracování nesavých práškových materiálůMethod of processing non-absorbent powder materials
Oblast technikyField of technology
Vynález se týká způsobu zpracování nesavých práškových materiálů, zejména odpadních, pro následný transport, skladování a využití.The invention relates to a process for the treatment of non-absorbent powder materials, in particular waste materials, for subsequent transport, storage and utilization.
At present, the suitable processing of non-absorbent powder materials represents a relatively significant technological problem. A concrete example can be the search for ways to use waste toner powder - waste generated during the recycling of toner cartridges for computer printers and copiers. Waste toner powder is currently mostly landfilled, addressing the possibilities of its subsequent use, of which its incineration predominates so far. In any case, the fine powder must be treated in a suitable manner, as as such it can be explosive in air.
An example is the treatment of waste toner into fuel according to Japanese Patent JP 5925542. The waste toner is mixed with waste oil and wood biomass (such as wood dust, chips, sawdust, crushed rice or paper waste). The prepared mixture is then poured in a liquid or semi-liquid state into boilers or firing rooms. The disadvantage of this procedure is the complicated handling of liquid or semi-liquid fuel or in the transport of waste toner powder for said treatment.
A similar logistical problem is with another solution according to the European patent application EP 2915652, where the toner powder is processed into a plastic master batch. This solution, as a special plastic technology, assumes a highly special device deaerated twin screw extruder. However, this is very problematic at the point of toner storage, and it is therefore probably not possible to avoid the problems of complicated handling of waste toner powder during transport in the prior art by said plastics technology.
Podstata vynálezuThe essence of the invention
Teplota, na niž se stačovaná směs zahřeje, měřená v celém průřezu stlačované směsi, nepřesáhne 80°C a lokální zvýšení teploty při mechanické změně v průběhu stlačování je limitováno mezní teplotou 350°C.The method of processing non-absorbent powder materials, in particular waste materials, for subsequent transport, storage and use according to the invention contributes to a large extent to overcoming the above-mentioned drawbacks. Its essence consists in that the non-absorbent powder material is first mixed in a first phase in a homogenizer with an absorbent material with a particle size of 1 μm to 20 mm and with a liquid component, or an intermediate pretreatment of the absorbent material with a liquid component such as sludge. The homogenized mixture thus obtained, with a minimum liquid content of 3% by weight, is then compacted by compression to 40 MPa. The temperature to which the compressed mixture is heated, measured over the entire cross-section of the compressed mixture, does not exceed 80 ° C and the local temperature increase during a mechanical change during compression is limited by a limit temperature of 350 ° C.
The compaction of the homogenized mixture of non-absorbent and absorbent powder material with the liquid component by compression to 40 MPa is preferably carried out in a rotary horizontal pelletizer with rotating rollers and a fixed or rotating die or in a briquetting plant.
Nesavým materiálem je materiál anorganického původu, organický materiál obsahující polymemí bázi, která je nesavá a kapalné složce odpudivá či neutrální nebo směs takových materiálů anorganického a organického původu. Jedná se především o materiál ze skupiny zahrnující tonery, polypropylény (PP), vosky, polyuretany (PUR), polyetyléntereftallát (PET),A non-absorbent material is a material of inorganic origin, an organic material containing a polymeric base which is non-absorbent and neutral to the liquid component, or a mixture of such materials of inorganic and organic origin. It is mainly a material from the group comprising toners, polypropylenes (PP), waxes, polyurethanes (PUR), polyethylene terephthalate (PET),
- 1 CZ 2017 - 557 A3 polyoxymetylén (POM), polyamid (PA), polybutyléntereftallát (PBT), houževnatý polystyrén (HIPS), kopolymer akrylonitril- butadien-styrén (ABS), polykarbonát (PC) a to zejména v podobě jejich odpadu.- 1 CZ 2017 - 557 A3 polyoxymethylene (POM), polyamide (PA), polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), high impact polystyrene (HIPS), acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), polycarbonate (PC), especially in the form of their waste.
Absorbent material is a material consisting of organic or inorganic components that have the ability to bind to a liquid component, such as materials from the group consisting of cereal meal, maize meal, husks, flour, cereal and maize dust and mixtures thereof, straw, hay and their dust, including slurry, biomass, cellulose, lignin, starch, wood waste, paper dust, silica gel, inorganic foams and desiccants with absorbent properties, sorbents, gelatin and coal dust.
The liquid component is a solution or emulsion of acidic, basic or neutral composition with a minimum water content of 5% by weight.
The main benefit of the process according to the invention is that it allows the processing of non-absorbent powder materials, such as waste toners from recycling toner cartridges to computer printers and copiers directly at the landfill into pellets or other compacted forms of dust particles and thus significantly facilitates handling. with them during subsequent transport, storage and use. Another significant benefit is that the powder toner or powder mixture changes after processing from an explosive class STI, ST2 or ST3 to a non-explosive, easily transportable and further processable without increased demands on explosiveness, unless the particles are crushed back to a dust state and thus formed perfect explosive mixture.
