Abstract

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αφορά μια μέθοδο παρασκευής της μεταξαλόνης που περιλαμβάνει αντίδραση του ισοκυανικού άλατος τριγλυκιδυλίου (TGIC) με την m-ξυλενόλη, που χαρακτηρίζεται από το ότι η εν λόγω αντίδραση εκτελείται σε ένα μείγμα διαλύτη που περιέχει ένα απρωτικό πολικό διαλύτη με διηλεκτρική σταθερά μεγαλύτερη από ή ίση με 30 και τουλάχιστον έναν άλλο διαλύτη που επιλέγεται από την ομάδα που περιλαμβάνει απολικούς διαλύτες και απρωτικούς πολικούς διαλύτες με διηλεκτρική σταθερά κάτω από το 30 με το εν λόγω μείγμα διαλύτη να περιέχει από 5 έως 40 % του βάρους του εν λόγω πρώτου διαλύτη και από 95 έως 60 % του βάρους του εν λόγω δεύτερου διαλύτη, προσθέτοντας το TGIC σε μια θερμοκρασία μεταξύ 30°C και 50°C, και στη συνέχεια προσθέτοντας το TGIC, αυξάνοντας τη θερμοκρασία του διαλύματος της αντίδρασης σε μια τιμή μεταξύ 80°C και 180°C εντός χρονικού διαστήματος μεταξύ 120 και 180 λεπτών με έναν ρυθμό αύξησης όχι μεγαλύτερο από 1,25°C ανά λεπτό. Η εφεύρεση αφορά επίσης μια μεταξαλόνη με μια μειωμένη περιεκτικότητα ακαθαρσιών που προέρχονται από τις ατελείς αντίδρασης ή/και παράπλευρες αντιδράσεις της μεθόδου παραγωγής.
