Abstract
Η εφεύρεση αφορά μέθοδο για καλλιέργεια κυττάρων με σκοπό την παραγωγή ουσιών. Σύμφωνα με την εφεύρεση η καλλιέργεια μίας κυτταρικής σειράς που παράγει ουσίες προχωρά με παράλληλη παροχή θρεπτικού μέσου κατά τρόπο ώστε στο διάλυμα καλλιέργειας να αποκαθίσταται περιορισμός γλυκόζης. Ο βαθμός του περιορισμού γλυκόζης DGL = qGLc/qGlcmax (qGIc = στιγμιαίος παρατηρούμενος, ειδικός ρυθμός κατανάλωσης γλυκόζης· qGlcmax = μέγιστος γνωστός, για τα κύτταρα αυτά, ειδικός ρυθμός κατανάλωσης γλυκόζης). Ο DGL βρίσκεται εντός των ορίων 0 και 1, όπου 0 σημαίνει απόλυτο περιορισμό και 1 σημαίνει απουσία περιορισμού ή απόλυτη περίσσεια γλυκόζης. Σύμφωνα με την εφεύρεση ο DGL είναι μεγαλύτερος ή ίσος με τον DLG που οδηγεί σε αποκλειστική συντήρηση του κυττάρου και ≤ 0,5.
