Abstract

La invención se refiere a sistemas, aparatos y procedimientos para el acondicionamiento integrado y el acondicionamiento ¡n situ (en el depósito) de alquitranes de petróleo pesados y de arenas petrolíferas. Los sistemas, aparatos y procedimientos permiten el acondicionamiento mejorado de petróleo pesado en un pozo de producción mediante la introducción de un fluido caliente, incluyendo un vacío o fracción de residuo atmosférico o petróleo desalquítranado en el pozo de producción en condiciones de promover el acondicionamiento de hidrocarburos. Los procedimientos pueden incluir además la introducción de hidrógeno y de un catalizador junto con la inyección del fluido caliente en el pozo de producción para promover aún más reacciones de acondicionamiento de hidrocarburos. Además, la invención se refiere a metodologías mejoradas de producción de petróleo en los depósitos de petróleo convencionales.
