Abstract

Un método para inhibir la corrosión en un sistema acuoso que está en contacto con una superficie metálica, que consiste en añadir a dicho sistema una cantidad efectiva de por lo menos un derivado de benzotriazol hidrogenado.Un método para inhibir la corrosión en un sistema acuoso que está en contacto con una superficie metálica, que consiste en añadir a dicho sistema una cantidad efectiva de una composición que contenga como una porción de la misma de por lo menos un benzotriazol hidrogenado alquilo substituido o un alcoxi substituido.1Una composición acuosa para inhibir la corrosión de acuerdo con la Reivindicación 1, que contiene entre aproximadamente 0.5- 50 ppm de benzotriazol, por lo menos una porción de dicho benzotriazol contiene ademásbenzotriazol hidrogenado, y agua.
