Abstract
Se revelan dispositivos absorbentes, y más particularmentedispositivos absorbentes que son utilizados de manera interlabial por usuarias para propósitos catameniales, protección contra la incontinencia, o ambos. El dispositivo interlabial absorbente de la presente invención comprende una porción absorbente principal y un par de extensiones flexibles unidas a la porción absorbente principal. La porción absorbente principal tiene una superficie distal y comprende un elemento de adquisición y por lo menos un elemento de almacenamiento, en comunicación por fluido con el elemento de adquisición, que está colocado lateralmente hacia fuera del elemento de adquisición.En uso, la superficie distal de la porción absorbente principal está colocada lo más lejos hacia dentro en el espacio entre los labios mayores de la usuaria. El par de extensiones flexibles se extienden hacia abajo y lateralmente hacia fuera desde la superficie distal, y preferiblemente es capaz de mantener contacto con las superficies interiores de los labios mayores de la usuaria cuando el cuerpo de la usuaria se mueve en una variedad de movimientos, incluyendo agacharse. Adicionalmente, las extensiones flexibles preferiblemente son capaces de cubrir las puntas de los dedos de la usuaria a medida que el dispositivo absorbente se introduce en el espacio interlabial. El dispositivo interlabial preferiblemente comprende adicionalmente una hoja posterior que está colocada en la superficie de las extensiones flexibles que está opuesta a la superficie que contacta el cuerpo de éste y en todas las superficies de la porción absorbente principal con excepción de la superficie próxima.
