Abstract

La invención describe una composición dental, sistema desuministro y método para hacer coronas y puentes temporales donde la composición comprende dos pastas polimerizables de radicales libres, una pasta catalizadora y la otra una pasta de base, donde la pasta catalizadora comprende por lo menos un monómero polimerizable, por lo menos un iniciador de polimerización que es un peróxido agente de oxidación, por lo menos un primer inhibidor de polimerización y un rellenador, y donde la pasta de base comprende por lo menos un monómero polimerizable, por lo menos un acelerador de polimerización, por lo menos un segundo inhibidor de polimerización, por lo menos un plastificador no polimerizable y un rellenador. Estas pastas catalizadora y de base son almacenadas en un cartucho dual desde el cual pueden ser dispensadas con un dispensador, preferiblemente en una proporción en volumen 1:1, y pueden mezclarse en un mezclador estático para formar un material de polimerización moldeable, el cual es entonces aplicado a un área preparada de uno o más dientes en una boca de un paciente para formar una corona o un puente. Los materiales producidos en esta forma tiene mejoradas propiedades de manejo y exhiben una reducida capa inhibida de oxígeno sobre la superficie del material curado.
