Abstract

La presente invención proporciona un sistema y un método para la asistencia en el diagnóstico de enfermedades a partir de imágenes de otorrinolaringología que comprende: un aparato para la adquisición de imágenes de endoscopía otorrinolaringológica; un procesador, conectado operativamente a dicho aparato para la adquisición de imágenes de endoscopía otorrinolaringológica; y una interfaz de usuario que comprende una pantalla, dicha interfaz de usuario conectada operativamente a dicho procesador; en donde dicho procesador se encuentra configurado para: reconocer un tipo de aparato de exploración endoscópica otorrinolaringológica al que pertenece dicho aparato; obtener una pluralidad de imágenes de endoscopía otorrinolaringológica desde dicho aparato; desplegar dicha pluralidad de imágenes en dicha pantalla; e identificar, a partir de dicha pluralidad de imágenes, si la misma corresponde a alguna enfermedad o a un paciente sano.
