Abstract

La solicitud revela un método para la obtención de ácido poliláctico (PLA) a partir del suero de queso que comprende, entre otros, los pasos de desproteinización e inóculo, fermentación: separación: polimerización: y secado. Dentro del proceso reclamado se incluye la utilización de microorganismos como Lactobacillus Delbrueckii y Streptococcus Thermophilus. Además, la etapa de separación incluye un proceso de adsorción en una torre empacada de zeolita catiónica activada, la cual realiza un intercambio de H+ por Ca+ y en la etapa de separación se utiliza el solvente n-pentano en la extracción del ácido láctico, donde se recupera 90% del ácido láctico obtenido por vía fermentativa.
