Abstract
本实用新型电连接器,用以将对扩充卡连接至电路板上,该扩充卡下缘至少一侧设有缺口,该电连接器包括一纵长形绝缘本体及若干导电端子,该绝缘本体包括一对侧壁,侧壁间设有收容对接扩充卡的中央插槽,绝缘本体设有顶出装置,顶出装置枢接于绝缘本体,包括由主体部及由主体部末端延伸而出的顶出部,且顶出装置的主体部向内延伸设有可进入缺口的突起。本实用新型电连接器设有防呆突起,避免扩充卡插错,减少不必要的麻烦,提高工作效率。
Description
【技术领域】
本实用新型涉及一种电连接器。
【背景技术】
目前,业界所用以连接双列直插式记忆模块与电路板的电连接器即DDR通常设有一塑料座体及一耳扣装置,塑料座体上设有若干导电端子,其两侧设有塔形部,塔形部中设有收容耳扣装置的收容空间,收容空间两侧壁设有枢接孔,耳扣装置枢接于枢接孔内,该耳扣装置可将记忆模块稳固的扣持于电连接器内,防止记忆模块因震动脱离电连接器而产生信号中断,且连接器的耳扣装置上还设有将记忆模块顶出电连接器的退卡机构,而FB DIMM连接器舆DDR连接器基本相同,都具有相同的频数,相等的频距,但是FB DIMM连接器所连接的卡与DDR所连接的卡有所不同,FB DIMM连接器所连接的卡下缘一侧设有缺口,以示出卡的两端不一样,但在使用中因连接器上不设有阻止不设缺口一端***的装置,操作者极易插错,会影响正常作业。
因此,有必要设计一种新型的电连接器,以克服上述缺陷。
【发明内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一能有效防止扩充卡插错的电连接器。
为了达到上述创作目的,本实用新型电连接器,用以将对扩充卡连接至电路板上,该扩充卡下缘至少一侧设有缺口,该电连接器包括一纵长形绝缘本体及若干导电端子,该绝缘本体包括一对侧壁,侧壁间设有收容对接扩充卡的中央插槽,绝缘本体设有顶出装置,顶出装置枢接于绝缘本体,包括由主体部及由主体部末端延伸而出的顶出部,且顶出装置的主体部向中央插槽延伸设有可进入缺口的突起。
与现有技术相比较,本实用新型电连接器设有防呆突起,避免扩充卡插错,减少不必要的麻烦,提高工作效率。

【具体实施方式】
下面结合附图和具体实施例对本实用新型电连接器作进一步说明。
请参照图1至图8所示,本实用新型电连接器为FB DIMM连接器,用以将至少一侧设有缺口31的扩充卡3连接到主机板(未图示)上,包括一纵长型绝缘本体10及两顶出装置20。
绝缘本体10包括一对侧壁11,侧壁11间沿长轴方向设有中央插槽12,中央插槽12两边设有两列与中央插槽形成连通的端子收容孔13,导电端子14收容于所述端子收容孔13中,一对塔形部15一体地由该绝缘本体10两端垂直向上延伸,并形成一对收容空间16以收容顶出装置20,该收容空间16与上述中央插槽12相连接,塔形部15上设有一对侧壁156及一端壁157,由一对侧壁156及一端壁157共同围成上述收容空间16,端壁157内设有一收容孔1571,电连接器另外设有用以与主机板相定位的金属叉18,该金属叉18收容于收容孔1571中,在绝缘本体侧壁端部(即塔形部15)内侧上设有挡止部151,挡止部设有向下并向内倾斜的斜面152,塔形部15内侧靠近端壁157的位置上设有枢接轴孔153,塔形部上部外侧设有卡槽155。
顶出装置20枢接于塔形部15的收容空间16中,包括主体部200及由主体部末端延伸而出的顶出部201,以顶出对接扩充卡3,主体部200内侧中部设有槽孔208,槽孔208内设有突起209,突起209可进入扩充卡3上的缺口31,以防止扩充卡3插错,但突起209不会与扩充卡相抵触,在主体部200两侧分别设有转轴202,用以与塔形部15内壁上的枢接轴孔153相配合,主体部上与中央插槽12相对的位置上设有与挡止部152配合的限制顶出装置旋转量的配合面203,配合面203可与塔形部15内侧挡止面152相配合,以防止顶出装置20在收容空间16内因过度旋转而脱离绝缘本体10,由主体200向上延伸并向外倾斜出操作部204,操作部204相对的内侧设有水平向内的突出部205,该突出部205可与扩充卡3两侧的凹部32相卡合,而将扩充卡3定位于电连接器上,以实现扩充卡与主机板的电性导接,在顶出装置突出部205与主体部200之间与中央插槽12相对位置的两侧分别设有顶片206,顶片206自由端设有勾部207,该顶片206可抵顶于塔形部的侧壁上,且勾部207与卡槽155相卡合,进一步由两侧向中间夹紧扩充卡3。
当顶出装置20位于开放位置时可***扩充卡3,由于顶出装置200上设有突起209,只有扩充卡3有缺口31的一侧才能顺利通过突起209而***,而扩充卡上没有缺口31的另外一侧则不能***,以此使装配操作者能正确***扩充卡而避免插错;再将顶出装置闭合,这时,顶片206挤压塔形部两侧壁,使两侧壁夹持扩充卡,同时顶片的勾部207与塔形部上的卡槽155相扣合,使扩充卡更稳固连接于电连接器中。若要取出扩充卡3,只须用力向外按压操作部204,顶出装置20即向外旋转,此时顶出部201上翘,从而将扩充卡3顶出,在扩充卡3***及顶出过程中,突起209都不会与扩充卡3相抵触。
Claims (8)
1.一种电连接器,用以将对扩充卡连接至电路板上,该扩充卡下缘至少一侧设有缺口,该电连接器包括一纵长形绝缘本体及若干导电端子,该绝缘本体包括一对侧壁,侧壁间设有收容对接电子组件的中央插槽,绝缘本体设有顶出装置,顶出装置枢接于绝缘本体,包括由主体部及由主体部末端延伸而出的顶出部,其特征在于:顶出装置的主体部向中央插槽延伸设有可进入缺口的突起。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:顶出装置主体部内侧中部设有槽孔,所述突起位于槽孔中。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体侧壁端部内侧上设有与顶出装置相配合而防止顶出装置过度旋转的挡止面,顶出装置上与挡止面相配合的部位位于其侧壁末端。
4.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:顶出装置前端两侧分别设有可抵顶于侧壁上的顶片。
5.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:绝缘本体侧壁两端上部外侧设有卡槽,所述顶片自由端设有与卡槽相卡合的勾部。
6.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该电连接器顶出装置主体部两侧分别设有转轴,绝缘本体内壁上设有与之对应的枢接轴孔。
7.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:该电连接器为FB DIMM连接器。
8.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:突起不会与扩充卡相抵触。
