当玩耍时，可以用单手或双手操纵，将操纵带7套在手指上，舞动娱乐健身棒，做旋转、跳跃、绕过身体、双棒齐飞等动作，在游戏的同时达到健身。左、右手同时操纵两个娱乐健身棒，锻炼人体的协调性。可以用娱乐健身棒叩打人体的穴位或肌肉，达到疏通经络、按摩和消除疲劳的作用。
