Abstract

线缆连接器组件
【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种线缆连接器组件,尤其是指一种具有改进导电端子构造的线缆连接器组件。
【背景技术】
电连接器广泛应用于电性连接两电子装置。一些电子装置,如服务器,安装有电源连接器以获得电源供应。这些电源连接器通常包括一对相互配合的组件,如插头连接器与插座线缆连接器组件,该插头连接器与电路板相连接,该插座线缆连接器组件与电源供应***相连接用以将电源传输至电路板。插座线缆连接器组件通常包括整体射出成型的绝缘本体、固持于该绝缘本体内的若干插座型电源端子及若干与对应电源端子相连接的线缆。这些插座型电源端子可参考美国专利公告第3,964,815号。通过这些插座型端子与插头连接器的对应插脚型端子相配接,以使该插头连接器与该插座连接器之间达成机械连接与电性连接。然而,在某些存在高程度冲击和震动的特殊环境中,插头连接器与插座连接器间的连接易发生脱离,从而导致插头连接器与插座连接器电性接触不良。
美国专利公告第5,102,354号揭示了一种插座线缆连接器组件,该插座线缆连接器组件具有可解决所述技术问题的插座端子。每一插座端子包括前端接触部、尾端夹持部及连接两者的中间部。接触部设有自中间部前端向后向上延伸的中央接触梁,中央接触梁上形成有弯曲接触部。该接触部还设有自中央接触梁两侧向上延伸的侧缘接触梁。当插座线缆连接器组件与对接插头连接器配接时,对接插头连接器的插头端子与侧缘接触梁和中央接触梁的弯曲接触部电性连接,其间形成有若干接触点。然而,由于侧缘接触梁是由中央接触梁延伸而出的,插头端子***时,侧缘接触梁将随着中央接触梁向下弹性变形而向下移动,因而插头端子与侧缘接触梁之间于竖直方向上发生刮擦。多次重复插头端子插接动作,外部传导材料,如电镀于插头端子及插座端子的侧缘接触梁上的金,将可能脱落,由此将对插头端子与插座端子间的电性接触产生不利影响。另一方面,侧缘接触梁易于随中央接触梁的变形发生旋转,这样将增加插头端子与插座端子可靠配接的难度。
所以,有必要提供一种具有改进导电端子的线缆连接器组件以克服现有技术中的上述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种具有改进导电端子的线缆连接器组件,可确保其与对接端子达成可靠的连接。
本实用新型的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的:一种线缆连接器组件,包括绝缘本体、若干导电端子及与对应导电端子连接的若干线缆,其中在绝缘本体上设置有若干收容槽,上述导电端子收容于绝缘本体的对应收容槽内,其包括固持于绝缘本体内的中间部、自中间部一端延伸而成的第一接触梁、自中间部侧缘延伸而成的一对第二接触梁及自中间部远离第一接触梁一端延伸而成的与线缆相连接的尾部。
与现有技术相比较,本实用新型具有以下有益效果:因第二接触梁自中间部延伸而成,对接端子***过程中,第二接触梁不会随第一接触梁的变形而发生位移或偏转,因而插头端子与第二接触梁不会发生竖直方向上的刮擦,减少因重复插头端子插接动作而导致的传导材料磨损,另一方面将增加插头端子与插座端子配合的可靠程度。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1至图4所示,本实用新型的线缆连接器组件1,包括一插座连接器2及与该插座连接器2电性连接的若干线缆3。每一线缆3包括一导电芯线30及包覆于导电芯线30外的绝缘外皮32。该导电芯线30延伸出线缆3的一端。
插座连接器2包括一矩形绝缘本体4及收容于该绝缘本体4内的若干导电端子5。该绝缘本体4设有前端面400及与其相对的后端面402。该绝缘本体4设有若干收容槽40及与这些收容槽40相连通的插槽42,收容槽40沿侧壁方向由前端面400延伸贯穿至相对后端面402,插槽42延伸穿过前端面400但不穿过绝缘本体4的底面403(参图10)。每一收容槽40自相对两内侧面41进一步向外凹陷形成两个狭缝44。若干卡持块46设置于绝缘本体4的顶面404上,以配合对接连接器上的对应卡持槽(未图示)。
每一导电端子5结构相同,参阅图5及图6,每一导电端子5由导电材料制成,包括一平板状中间部50、一位于中央的第一接触梁52、一对位于两侧的第二接触梁54及一尾部56。其中,中间部50设有较窄的前部501及较宽的后部503;第一接触梁52自前部501处的前端500延伸而成;第二接触梁54由靠近前部501的前端500处的侧缘502向上延伸而成;尾部56由后部503的后端向后延伸,以与对应线缆3产生电性接触。中间部50设有一定位片504,该定位片504由后部503向后向下延伸而成。
第一接触梁52包括自前端500向后向上延伸而成的第一弹性臂520及自第一弹性臂520向前向下延伸而成的第二弹性臂522。第一弹性臂520具有与前端500相连接的第一弯曲部52a及与第二弹性臂522相连接的第二弯曲部52b,第二弯曲部52b高于第一弯曲部52a。第一接触梁52相对第一弯曲部52a向下变形而使第二弯曲部52b与对接连接器的对接端子达成电性接触。第二弹性臂522设有自由端52c,其抵置于中间部50以防止在对接端子***时第一接触梁52发生过度变形。
第二接触梁54包括一对直立臂540及自对应直立臂540顶端向后延伸而成的一对弹性侧臂542。相对侧臂542自由端相向延伸形成一对接触部54a,以与对接端子达成电性连接。
尾部56设有两对夹持翼560,借助压接工具(未图示)使其延伸并包覆于对应线缆3之外。
请参阅图7至图12所示,通过夹持翼560环绕包覆于对应线缆3外露出的导电芯线30及绝缘外皮32的外表面,导电端子5分别压接至对应的线缆3。与对应线缆3电性连接的导电端子5自后端面402***绝缘本体4的对应收容槽40内。中间部50的后部503所设的侧缘506收容于对应狭缝44内,以防止导电端子5向前及向上移动。狭缝44同样具有导引导电端子5***收容槽40的功用。中间部50的定位片504收容于绝缘本体4的对应插槽42中,以避免导电端子5向后移动。
组装时,线缆连接器组件1与对接连接器达成配合,对接端子同时与第二弯曲部52b及对应导电端子5的接触部54a达成电性接触,且其间获得多个接触点。因第二接触梁54自中间部50延伸而成,对接端子***过程中,第二接触梁54不会随第一接触梁52的变形而发生位移或旋转。所以,导电端子与对接端子之间达成可靠的配接。

Claims (10)

1.一种线缆连接器组件,包括绝缘本体、若干导电端子及与对应导电端子连接的若干线缆,其中在绝缘本体上设置有若干收容槽,上述导电端子收容于绝缘本体的对应收容槽内,其特征在于:所述导电端子包括固持于绝缘本体内的中间部、自中间部一端延伸而成的第一接触梁、自中间部侧缘延伸而成的一对第二接触梁及自中间部远离第一接触梁一端延伸而成的与线缆相连接的尾部。
2.如权利要求1所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一接触梁位于导电端子的中央,其包括第一弹性臂及第二弹性臂,第一弹性臂自中间部向后向上延伸而成,第二弹性臂自第一弹性臂向前向下延伸而成,且设有一自由端抵置于中间部。
3.如权利要求2所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一弹性臂设有第一弯曲部及第二弯曲部,第一弯曲部与中间部一端连接,第二弯曲部与第二弹性臂连接以与对接端子达成电性接触。
4.如权利要求3所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:第二接触梁位于导电端子的两侧,其沿导电端子纵向设置于第一接触梁的第一弯曲部及第二弯曲部之间。
5.如权利要求4所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第二接触梁包括一对直立臂及一对弹性侧臂,直立臂设置于第一弹性臂的两侧,这些侧臂自直立臂向后延伸而成并设有相向延伸而成的接触部。
6.如权利要求5所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第一弹性臂的第二弯曲部向后延伸出侧臂的接触部之外。
7.如权利要求1所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:所述第二接触梁包括一对直立臂及一对弹性侧臂,直立臂设置于第一接触梁的两侧,这些侧臂自直立臂向后延伸而成并设有相向延伸而成的接触部。
8.如权利要求7所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:绝缘本体设有与收容槽相连通的若干狭缝,该狭缝收容中间部相对应的侧缘。
9.如权利要求8所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:所述绝缘本体设有延伸贯穿其前端面但不延伸出其底面的插槽,该插槽与相对应的收容槽相连通,导电端子的中间部还包括有定位片,该定位片收容于前述插槽中。
10.如权利要求7所述的线缆连接器组件,其特征在于:线缆包括导电芯线及包覆于该导电芯线外的绝缘外皮,该线缆一端设有延伸出绝缘外皮的导电芯线,而所述导电端子尾部包括夹持翼,该夹持翼分别包覆于前述导电芯线及绝缘外皮之外。
