Abstract

一种连接器的构造改良,该连接器的外壳及外壳所延伸的接地片是以不锈钢材料制成,该外壳可进行部分电镀或全部电镀,于该不锈钢接地片或整个外壳进行酸洗,或先行镀镍,再进行酸洗,使该不锈钢接地片或外壳表面形成粗糙面,并于该粗糙面上设置一吃锡性较佳的电镀层;藉此,可使连接器的不锈钢外壳及接地片具有较佳的弹性及低价格,且改良不锈钢接地片的吃锡性,使其具有良好焊接效果。

Description

连接器的构造改良
本实用新型关于一种连接器的构造改良,可使不锈钢外壳及接地片具有较佳的弹性,且改良不锈钢接地片的吃锡性,使其具有良好焊接效果。
习知连接器包括有绝缘体体、导电端子及外壳,外壳是以导电材料制成,其是包覆于该绝缘本体外部,以提供连接器对电磁干扰的遮蔽保护,此外,例如USB连接器的外壳,又需在外壳壁面向内成型弹片,以提供其与互补连接器的插拔力及固持力,更须在外壳上延伸接地片,以与电路板焊接接地,因此,这种连接器或类似的连接器的外壳需同时考虑其材料弹性及焊接性,是以,该外壳一般是以磷青铜、铍铜或相近铜合金等材料制成,这些材料的电镀性好且焊接性佳。只不过其价格较高,而弹性未达理想,而且这些铜合金材料易在空气中氧化产生氧化物,须整个施予电镀,在表面镀上一层保护层,以改善表面光泽,另外,不锈钢等弹性较佳价格又较低的材料是很理想的外壳材料,而且不锈钢表面抗氧化及表面光泽佳,但不锈钢材料吃锡性不佳,较不利于焊接。
是以,由上可知,上述习知的连接器,在实际使用上,显然具有不便与缺失存在,而可加以改善。
缘是,本创作人有感上述缺失的可改善,乃特潜心研究并配合学理的运用,终于提出一种设计合理且有效改善上述缺失的本实用新型。
本实用新型的主要目的,在于可提供一种连接器的构造改良,其价格较低,且具有较佳的弹性及较低价格,可具有较佳的耐插拔强度,且吃锡性较佳,可便于焊接固定于电路板,以具有良好焊接效果。
为了达成上述目的,本实用新型提供一种连接器的构造改良,该连接器的外壳是以弹性较佳、价格较低的不锈钢材料制成,该外壳具有不锈钢接地片,该外壳可进行部分电镀或全部电镀,即于该不锈钢接地片或整个外壳进行酸洗,或先行镀镍,再进行酸洗,使该不锈钢接地片或外壳表面形成粗糙面,并于该粗糙面上设置一吃锡性较佳的电镀层,由于该外壳是以不锈钢材料制成,可具有较佳的弹性及较低价格,具有较佳的耐插拔强度,且由于其不锈钢接地片上设有电镀层,该电镀层吃锡性较佳,可便于焊接固定于电路板,以具有良好焊接效果。

如图1及图2所示,本实用新型是提供一种连接器的构造改良,该连接器是包括有一绝缘本体10、多数个导电端子20及一外壳30,其中的绝缘本体10是以塑胶等绝缘材料所制成,这些导电端子20是固定于该绝缘本体10上,以便与对接连接器相触接,这些导电端子20一端向下延伸形成有接脚部21,这些接脚部21并露出于绝缘本体10底部,可供插接于电路板上。
外壳30是以弹性较佳、价格较低的不锈钢材料制成,该外壳30是包覆于该绝缘本体10外部,该外壳30前侧面是形成开口状,以便与对接连接器相插接,该外壳30包覆于该绝缘本体10外部,可达到遮蔽保护效果,该外壳30顶部及左、右两侧具有弹片31,这些弹性31是略凸出于该外壳30内壁,可用以弹性夹持对接连接器,该外壳30底部具有多数个不锈钢接地片32,可用以固定于电路板上。
本实用新型主要是于外壳30上进行部分电镀,该部分电镀是将欲接地的不锈钢接地片32进行表面粗糙化处理,即进行酸洗,使该不锈钢接地片32表面粗糙化;另亦可将欲接地的不锈钢接地片32先行镀镍,再进行酸洗,使该不锈钢接地片323表面粗糙化;即于该不锈钢接地片32表面形成粗糙面33,而后于该不锈钢接地片32的粗糙面33电镀上一层镍或锡、铅等吃锡性较佳的电镀层34,由于不锈钢的弹性较佳,由外壳30所形成的弹片具较佳弹性,提供更佳的插拔强度及使用寿命,又只选镀接地片32,外壳30其他部分不必电镀,仍能保持抗氧化性及表面光泽。当然,若外壳30进行全部电镀亦可,则需将整个外壳进行酸洗,或先行镀镍,再进行酸洗,使该外壳30表面粗糙化形成粗糙面33,而后于该外壳30的粗糙面33电镀上一层电镀层34。
另外,如图3所示,本实用新型可应用于其他不同型式的连接器,该连接器的外壳30是以不锈钢材料制成,该外壳30可进行部分电镀或全部电镀,于该不锈钢接地片32或整个外壳30进行酸洗,使该不锈钢接地片32或外壳30表面形成粗糙面,并于该粗糙面上设置一吃锡性较佳的电镀层34。
本实用新型外壳30、不锈钢接地片32是以不锈钢材料制成,可具有较佳的弹性及较低价格,具有较佳的耐插拔强度,且其不锈钢接地片32上设有电镀层34,该电镀层34吃锡性较佳,可便于焊接固定于电路板,以具有良好焊接效果。
综上所述,本实用新型实为改善习知连接器的外壳,以不锈钢材料制成,吃锡性不佳,以磷青铜、铍铜或铜合金等材料制成,价格较高,且弹性不佳等问题的不可多得的新型产品,极具新颖性及进步性,完全符合实用新型专利申请要求,爰依专利法提出申请,敬请详查并赐准本案专利,以保护发明者的权益。
以上所述仅为本实用新型的较佳可行实施例,非因此即拘限本实用新型的专利范围,故举凡运用本实用新型说明书及图式内容所为的等效结构变化,均同理皆包含于本实用新型的范围内,合予陈明。

Claims (8)

1.一种连接器构造改良,其外壳是以不锈钢材料制成,该外壳具有不锈钢接地片,其特征在于,对该不锈钢接地片进行表面粗糙化处理,使该不锈钢接地片表面形成粗糙面,在该不锈钢接地片的粗糙面上设置一吃锡性较佳的电镀层。
2.如权利要求1所述的连接器构造改良,其特征在于,电镀层为镍或锡、铅材料。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的连接器构造改良,其特征在于,所述粗糙面是经酸洗形成的粗糙面。
4.如权利要求1或2所述的连接器构造改良,其特征在于,所述粗糙面是经镀镍再酸洗形成的粗糙面。
5.一种连接器构造改良,其外壳是以不锈钢材料制成,该外壳具有不锈钢接地片,其特征在于,对该整个外壳进行表面粗糙化处理,使该外壳表面形成粗糙面,在该外壳的粗糙面上设置一吃锡性较佳的电镀层。
6.如权利要求5所述的连接器构造改良,其特征在于,所述粗糙面是经酸洗形成的粗糙面。
7.如权利要求5或6所述的连接器构造改良,其特征在于,所述粗糙面是经酸洗形成的粗糙面。
8.如权利要求5或6所述的连接器构造改良,其特征在于,所述粗糙面是经镀镍再酸洗形成的粗糙面。
