Abstract

Description

软性电路板连接器
本实用新型涉及一种连接器,尤其是一种设有抗应变装置且具零***力的软性电路板连接器。
软性电路板可用于诸多电子领域,其可减小电子元件的整体尺寸并可提供两印刷电路板间的可挠性电连接。它可利用焊接技术直接组接在硬式印刷电路板上,或由软性电路板连接器促成其与电路板间的连接。但软性电路板连接器存在的问题之一是无法提供较好的方法解决电路板和连接器间的应变问题。任何位移或振动都可能导致连接器/软性电路板的接触界面发生磨擦损耗,甚至使软性电路板完全脱离连接器。
为了实现软性电路板连接器与软性电路板间的连接,典型的方法是将软性电路板***至软性电路板连接器绝缘本体内设有端子的凹槽中。而为了减小软性电路板***过程中推移连接器端子而产生的阻力,现有技术采用了一种零***力软性电路板连接器。与此有关的技术可参考美国专利第4,477,137、4,640,562、4,863,395、5,213,534、5,240,430、5,542,855号等。
如美国专利第5,542,855号中的附图所示(本申请未附图),舌片48的接触脚48a远离软性电路板25***的插孔40。在软性电路板25被组接以后,压板36被***至压板插孔46中,之后指片54的指片根部54a被侧向压入,使舌片48的接触脚48a移动并与软性电路板25电连接。但该专利所揭示的连接器存在的问题在于,信号传输路径太长,使得信号发生衰减并延长传输时间。而S形端子装置34和绝缘本体的收容槽的结构较为复杂。
本实用新型的目的在于提供一种具有抗应变装置的软性电路板连接器,其可确保软性电路板在使用时不会脱离连接器,也可较好地限制软性电路板的导线和软性电路板连接器端子接触部间的移动。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的:具有抗应变装置的软性电路板连接器包括设有前表面和后表面的绝缘本体,该绝缘本体的前表面形成有纵槽以收容软性电路板,其上进一步设有若干个与纵槽连通的收容槽,每一收容槽均容纳相应端子以使该软性电路板连接器与软性电路板电连接。在绝缘本体上设置抗应变装置,该抗应变装置为一纵长状的压体,其两末端分别设有扣持部,以将软性电路板的相应部分抵在绝缘本体上,从而可限制软性电路板的导电部分和软性电路板连接器端子接触部间的移动。
由于采用了上述方案,本实用新型可确保软性电路板在使用时不会脱离连接器,较好地限制软性电路板的导线和软性电路板连接器端子接触部间的移动。
下面结合附图和实施例对本实用新型作进一步的说明。
图1是本实用新型的分解图。

图4是本实用新型与软性电路板组接后的剖视图。
如图1和图2所示,具有抗应变装置30的软性电路板连接器1具有纵长绝缘本体10,该绝缘本体10又设有彼此相对的前表面11和后表面12。而绝缘本体10上形成的纵槽13用于收容软性电路板40(参照图4)。并且在绝缘本体10的前表面11和后表面12间形成有若干个收容槽14,每个收容槽14均与纵槽13连通,其可将端子15收容于其中,并电性连接软性电路板40的导电部分。绝缘本体10的顶面10a形成有与收容槽14连通的凹槽16。且组入凹槽16中的可作动的致动体20抵接在端子15的对应部分,其包括底面设有肋部22的基板21,而肋部22伸入凹槽16中并抵接于端子15的相应部分。致动体20还包括一对分别设于其两相反端部的钩部23用以与扣持绝缘本体10相扣持。组在绝缘本体10上的抗应变装置30,其将软性电路板40的卷曲部分抵在绝缘本体10上,可减小软性电路板40的导线和软性电路板连接器1的端子15的导电部分间的任何位移(图4参照)。该抗应变装置30为具有两相反末端且各设一扣持部32的压体31。为防止抗应变装置30意外受压,绝缘本体10的顶面10a上特设有阻止块10b。
再如图3所示,端子15设有基部15a,该基部15a又包括用于与印刷电路板(未图示)组装的尾部15b。自基部15a上延伸出的插脚15c稳固组在绝缘本体10的插接凹陷17中,而L形弹性臂15d从基部15a上延伸出去,并在其末端形成接触部15e,且另有L形偏臂15f自弹性臂15d上延伸出并抵触在致动体20的肋部22上。这样,致动体20的钩部23与绝缘本体10相扣持,并使其肋部22抵在相应端子15上,这样便可使致动体20位于连接器的较上位置。相反,若致动体20受压移至较下位置,肋部22将抵压偏臂15f向下移动,此时弹性臂15d的接触部15e将移至纵槽13的底面13a下方以利于软性电路板40的***。当软性电路板40组入以后再将压力释放,这将使偏臂15f和与之相连的弹性臂15d回复至原始位置,软性电路板即被夹持于端子15的弹性臂15d和绝缘本体10纵槽13的上面13b之间,最终使接触部15e和软性电路板40的相应导电部分产生电性连接。

Claims (4)

1.一种软性电路板连接器,其包括具有前表面和后表面的纵长绝缘本体,前表面上设有可收容软性电路板的纵槽,绝缘本体上设有若干个与纵槽连通的收容槽,而收容槽中则容纳端子以电性连接所***的软性电路板,其特征在于:绝缘本体上设有抗应变装置,该抗应变装置包括两末端分别设有扣持部的压体。
2.根据权利要求1所述的软性电路板连接器,其特征在于:绝缘本体的顶面上设有与收容槽相通的凹槽,并且另设有可组入该凹槽中的致动体。
3.根据权利要求2所述的软性电路板连接器,其特征在于:致动体上设有基板,并从该基板底面延伸出肋部,而该肋部延伸至凹槽中并抵于端子上,且致动体的两末端分别设有可与绝缘本体相扣接的钩部。
4.根据权利要求3所述的软性电路板连接器,其特征在于:端子包括有基部,该基部上设有可与印刷电路板组接的尾部,并从基部上进一步延伸出可稳固组入绝缘本体插接凹陷中的插脚,且另从基部上延伸出一弹性臂,而弹性臂上进一步延伸出一L形偏臂。
