Detailed Description
Hereinafter, specific embodiments of the present utility model will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The described embodiments are not intended to limit the utility model, but are merely exemplary, and not all features described in the embodiments or combinations thereof are essential to the utility model.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, herein, "longitudinal" refers to the length direction of the body of the handle device, or the handle and handle bracket, which is generally parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle; "transverse" refers to a direction generally perpendicular to the body of the handle device, or the handle and handle bracket, which is generally parallel to the transverse direction of the vehicle.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a door system according to a preferred embodiment of the utility model. As shown in fig. 1, the door system according to the present utility model includes a handle device 100 for a vehicle door, and further includes an electronic door lock 200 and a release cable or release lever 300 (only the release cable is shown as an example in the present embodiment).
The electronic door lock 200 is configured to be both power-actuated and mechanically-actuated, i.e., it is openable in both an electrically-unlocked manner and a mechanically-unlocked manner.
In the present embodiment, the unlocking of the electronic door lock 200 in a mechanical unlocking manner is achieved by connecting the handle device 100 with the release cable 300.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a handle device 100 for a vehicle door. The handle device 100 may comprise a handle 1 and a handle bracket 2, the handle bracket 2 being connectable to the handle 1 and the handle 1 being mountable to a vehicle door by means of the handle bracket 2.
The handle device 100 may also be a locking assembly that is convertible between a locked position and an unlocked position.
In the locked position (see fig. 5 a), the locking assembly engages the handle 1 to lock the handle 1, in which case the handle 1 will be blocked from being pulled out, as shown in fig. 5 b. At this time, the door can be opened electrically by unlocking the electronic door lock 200 by power actuation, but cannot be opened mechanically.
In the unlocked position (see fig. 5 c), the locking assembly is disengaged from the handle 1, thereby releasing the handle 1, the handle 1 being free to be pulled out, as shown in fig. 5 d. At this time, the door can be mechanically opened by releasing the cable or the release lever 300 to unlock the electronic door lock 200.
Referring to fig. 2, the locking assembly may include an actuator 3 and a locking pin 4 mounted on the handle bracket 2. As an example, the actuator 3 may comprise a motor.
The first end of the locking pin 4 is connected to the actuator 3 such that the actuator 3 can drive the locking pin 4 to move reciprocally, as indicated by the double arrow in fig. 2.
As shown in fig. 2, the handle apparatus 100 may also include an emergency actuation assembly. The emergency start assembly may comprise a push rod 5, a lock cylinder 7 and a rotary lever 6 arranged between the push rod 5 and the lock cylinder 7.
The rotary lever 6 is configured to convert a rotary motion of the lock cylinder 7 into a translational motion of the push rod 5 to shift the locking assembly from the locking position to the unlocking position.
To this end, a second end of the locking pin 4 opposite the first end is opposite the free end of the push rod 5 of the emergency actuation assembly, so that the free end of the push rod 5 can move towards and away from the second end of the locking pin 4 when the push rod 5 performs a translational movement. The movement of the free end of the push rod 5 towards the second end of the locking pin 4 brings the two into contact so that the push rod 5 can push the locking pin 4 out of the locking position via its free end.
Referring to fig. 3, the handle 1 may comprise a protruding portion extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the handle, the protruding portion having a locking hole 8. The locking hole 8 is provided so that the second end of the locking pin 4 can be inserted therein to engage the locking pin 4 with the handle 1, thereby locking the handle 1.
When the free end of the push rod 5 is moved towards and in contact with the second end of the locking pin 4, the second end of the locking pin 4 can be withdrawn from the locking hole 8 by means of further movement of the push rod 5 and thus pushing action of the free end of the push rod 5, so that the locking pin 4 is disengaged from the handle 1, thereby unlocking the handle 1. Thereby, the electronic door lock 200 can be mechanically unlocked and the door opened by pulling the handle 1.
Fig. 4 schematically shows the handle device 100 as seen from the vehicle interior (or from the side of the handle holder 2) towards the vehicle exterior (or towards the side of the handle 1).
As shown in fig. 2 and 4, both ends of the rotary lever 6 are connected to the push rod 5 and the key cylinder 7, respectively. Specifically, one end of the lock cylinder 7 is connected to one end of the rotating rod 6, which forms a crank-link mechanism-like structure, whereby the rotational movement of the lock cylinder 7 can be converted into a linear reciprocating movement of the other end of the rotating rod 6, and since this other end of the rotating rod 6 is fixedly connected to one end of the push rod 5, the push rod 5 will also be driven by the rotating rod 6 to linearly move toward the locking pin 4 and push the locking pin 4 out of the locking hole 8 of the handle 1, thereby retracting the locking pin 4 to an unlocked position that is not engaged in the locking hole 8 of the handle 1, allowing the door to be opened manually or mechanically by pulling out the handle 1.
In the present embodiment, the handle 1 is an outside door handle, and the handle bracket 2 is configured to be mounted on a door metal plate opposite to the handle 1.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
Under normal circumstances, the handle of the handle device of the present utility model is locked and unlocked in a power actuated manner via the locking assembly.
In an emergency, such as when a vehicle is involved in a collision accident, there is a risk that the door cannot be opened electrically due to a power failure and a very high release force generated by deformation of the metal plate. In this case, the actuator of the locking assembly is commanded from the BCM or ECU, which will pull the locking pin back and disengage it from the outside door handle. Thus, an outside person can pull the handle to quickly open the door to rescue trapped or even injured persons.
However, in special situations, such as when the power source fails, the actuator of the locking assembly cannot drive the locking pin out of the locked position, and the outside door handle may become stuck by the locking pin. According to the inventive concept, the lock cylinder can then be mechanically operated with a key, which causes the rotary lever to rotate.
Specifically, when the vehicle key is inserted into the lock cylinder provided outside the vehicle door and turned, since the lock cylinder is mechanically connected with the push rod by the rotating rod and the push rod is disposed close to the locking-acting end portion of the locking pin, a pushing force can be applied to the locking pin of the locking assembly of the handle device, and thus an unlocking operation of the locking assembly can be performed.
When the vehicle door latch is unlocked, the user can open the vehicle door by manipulating an outside handle or an inside handle provided in the vehicle door.
The lock cylinder and the rotary lever form a crank-link mechanism, the rotary motion of the lock cylinder can be converted into a linear reciprocating motion of one end of the rotary lever, and the one end of the rotary lever is fixedly connected with one end of the push rod, so that the push rod is driven by the rotary lever to perform linear movement, the locking pin is moved out of the locking hole of the outer handle, and the locking pin is retracted to an unlocking position which is not engaged with the handle, and the door is allowed to be opened manually or mechanically.
The present utility model thus provides an effective solution for emergency opening of a motor vehicle door with a simple structural arrangement.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the embodiments disclosed above without departing from the scope or spirit of the utility model. Other embodiments of the utility model will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the utility model disclosed herein. It is intended that the specification and examples disclosed herein be considered as exemplary only, with a true scope of the utility model being indicated by the following claims and their equivalents.
