7. The solenoid valve piston assembly of claim 6, wherein said radial bore communicates with said first land.
8. The solenoid valve piston assembly of claim 1 wherein said piston includes at least one axial aperture communicating with a solenoid valve chamber external to said piston assembly and a bottom surface of said mounting groove, said axial aperture extending through a bottom wall of said piston.
9. The solenoid valve piston assembly of claim 1 wherein said piston mounting groove is annular and said piston has a boss in the middle of said mounting groove and said sealing plug is secured by staking said boss.
10. The solenoid valve piston assembly of claim 9 wherein said boss includes a stepped surface and said sealing plug is secured against the compression ring by staking said boss.
