5. The tobacco lining paper according to claim 1, wherein the see-through portion (10) is a polyethylene terephthalate film.

6. A multi-liner packet comprising at least two liners (50), and any of said liners (50) being used to pack cigarettes with a liner paper according to any of claims 1-5.

7. A multi-liner packet as claimed in claim 6, wherein the see-through portion (10) is centrally disposed in the width direction of the rectangular face of the single liner (50).

8. A multi-liner packet as claimed in claim 6, wherein the colour of the base portion (20) of any two of the liners (50) is different, a plurality of the liners (50) being adapted to hold cigarettes of different flavours.
