The cleaning robot such as a sweeping robot cleans by an edge brush which is arranged below the cleaning robot body and is close to the edge of the body; the side brush is driven by the motor to rotate, so that sundries such as dust on the surface to be cleaned are cleaned. However, the bristles of the existing cleaning robot side brush are generally equal in length, the bristles are bent in a pressing manner during brushing, the top ends of the bristles are tilted, the bristles are interrupted to be in contact with the ground, the sweeping effect is poor, and particularly the cleaning effect on particles and hair on carpets is poor.
In view of this, referring to fig. 1, a cleaning robot 100 includes a main body 1; a walking unit 3 supporting the main machine 1 and driving the main machine 1 to move on a surface to be cleaned; the cleaning robot side brushes 5. The main body 1 is a main body frame, a power output mechanism, and a control mechanism of the cleaning robot 100. The host 1 controls the traveling unit 3 such as wheels to travel so that the cleaning robot 100 moves along a certain path, and controls the cleaning robot to sweep by brushing 5 in an area to be cleaned. The cleaning robot side brush 5 comprises a main body which is connected with a power component and is driven by the power component to perform rotary motion. The main body is in a truncated cone-shaped structure and rotates around a rotation center. The main body is radially provided with a fixed arm, and the fixed arm is provided with brush hair for brushing off and sweeping dirt and waste. In order to obtain the best brushing and cleaning effect, the bristles are required to be always contacted with the ground, and the bristles can penetrate into fiber gaps of the floor and the carpet, so that the ground can be cleaned better.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, a cleaning robot side brush includes a main body 51 having an axis X as a rotation center of the main body 51, the main body 51 being rotatable around the rotation center; a fixed arm 53, the fixed arm 53 extending from the main body 51 in a direction away from the rotation center; the side of the fixed arm 53 facing the surface to be cleaned is provided with bristles 55. In the working state, the height between the position of the fixed arm 53 where the brush hair is arranged and the surface to be cleaned is h, and the included angle between the brush hair 55 and the surface to be cleaned is an angle a; the length L of the bristles 55 satisfies a predetermined relationship with the angle a and the height h such that the ends of the bristles are in contact with the surface to be cleaned in the operating state.
In one embodiment, the bristles 55 include at least a first tuft 551 on a side closer to the center of rotation and a second tuft 553 on a side farther from the center of rotation; the length of the second tuft 553 is greater than the length of the first tuft 551; in a direction away from the center of rotation, the lengths of the tufts increase in sequence and the tips of the bristles 55 contact the surface to be cleaned. In one embodiment, the bristles 55 are the same length and are inclined in a direction away from the center of rotation.
In another embodiment bristles 55 of unequal lengths are used and the bristles farther from the centre of rotation of the side brush are longer and shorter in opposite directions and the tips of the bristles 55 are brought into contact with the surface to be cleaned.
Preferably, angle a is greater than 20 degrees and less than 85 degrees; the height h is more than 2mm and less than 15mm; the bristles 55 have a length L greater than 5mm and less than 70mm. On the one hand, the design is such that the bristles 55 can be kept in operation, always in contact with the floor, and the bristles 55 can penetrate into the fibre gaps of the floor and the carpet, so that the floor can be cleaned better. On the other hand, the bristles 55 are not equal in length, so that the bristles 55 can be uniformly and naturally distributed on the fixed arm 53, the contact area between the bristles 55 and the surface to be cleaned can be enlarged, and the cleaning effect is improved.
Through the design, because the longer the bristles 55 are, the smaller the pressure on the ground is, so the bristle pressure close to the rotation center of the side brush is large, the rotation speed is small, the bristle pressure far away from the rotation center of the side brush is small, the rotation speed is large, the contact between the top ends of the bristles 55 and the ground can be ensured when the side brush brushes the ground, and the bristles 55 cannot be bent and tilted due to the fact that the bristles are close to the rotation center, so that the ground can be cleaned better, the cleaning effect inside and outside is the same, the cleaning is more uniform, and especially, the cleaning effect on the particles and the hairs on the carpet is better.
In order to obtain a large cleaning range during cleaning, the bristles 55 are inclined from the fixed arm 53 in a direction away from the rotation center and extend at least partially beyond the projection range of the fixed arm 53 on the surface to be cleaned; at least a portion of the bristles 55 are elastically deformed by the pressure exerted by the fixed arm 53 when abutted against the surface to be cleaned. Because the part of the bristles 55 extends beyond the projection range of the fixed arm 53 on the surface to be cleaned, a larger cleaning range can be obtained, the cleaning robot 100 can walk in a smaller range, but can clean a larger range, and the working efficiency of the cleaning robot 100 can be improved, so that the cleaning robot can clean the ground better; when the bristles 55 are abutted against the surface to be cleaned, a part of the bristles, which are mainly bristles in a direction away from the rotation center and extend beyond the projection range of the fixed arm 53 on the surface to be cleaned, are elastically deformed under the pressure applied by the fixed arm 53; because if the bristles 55 in a direction away from the rotation center are not elastically deformed, the bristles 55 may not be closely attached to the surface to be cleaned, thereby possibly making the cleaning effect of the cleaning robot 100 less than ideal.
The angle between the bristles 55 and the surface to be cleaned may be arbitrary in theory, but as the bristles 55 grow gradually, the bristles 55 soften, i.e., the force applied to the surface to be cleaned weakens. At this time, it is necessary to ensure that a certain force is maintained between the bristles 55 and the surface to be cleaned, and preferably, the angle between the bristles 55 and the surface to be cleaned is maintained; moreover, in order to obtain an optimal force and to ensure as large a cleaning range as possible, the bristles 55 are arranged at a predetermined angle to the surface to be cleaned, the predetermined angle being greater than 20 degrees and less than 85 degrees. Firstly, the bristles 55 are prevented from being perpendicular to the surface to be cleaned, because the length of the bristles at one end of the bristles 55 is longer than the length of the fixing arm 53, if the bristles 55 are perpendicular to the surface to be cleaned, the second tufts 553 of the bristles 55 are severely deformed, which reduces the service life of the bristles 55; if the angle between the bristles 55 and the surface to be cleaned is too small, the force of the bristles 55 acting on the surface to be cleaned is relatively small, and the cleaning effect of the surface to be cleaned is reduced, so that the cleaning efficiency is low.
In theory, the surface of the fixing arm 53 facing the surface to be cleaned may be provided in any shape, but in order to make the bristles 55 better derived outside the projection range of the surface to be cleaned of the fixing arm 53, the surface of the fixing arm 53 facing the surface to be cleaned is a curved surface, and the distance between the curved surface of the fixing arm 53 and the surface to be cleaned gradually increases in a direction away from the rotation center. This arrangement enables the bristles 55 to be planted relatively firmly on the face of the fixed arm 53 facing the surface to be cleaned; it is also possible to plant the bristles 55 on the fixed arm 53 approximately vertically without forming a large angle between the bristles 55 and the face of the fixed arm 53; the bristles 55 can be more firmly arranged on the fixed arms 53, and the planting is simpler and more convenient.
In order to better attach the fixing arm 53 to the main body 51 and to facilitate the formation of an angle between the bristles 55 and the surface to be cleaned, the main body 51 is provided in a circular truncated cone shape, and the diameter of the main body 51 is gradually reduced in a direction approaching the surface to be cleaned. Because the surface of the fixing arm 53 facing the surface to be cleaned is a curved surface, the main body 51 is formed in a circular truncated cone shape, so that the surface of the main body 51 connected with the fixing arm 53 is also a curved surface, the fixing arm 53 can be firmly arranged on the main body 51, and the bristles 55 on the fixing arm 53 can form an angle with the surface to be cleaned, so that the bristles 55 can perform cleaning work better. The body 51 may be provided in an arbitrary shape in theory, and is not limited to a truncated cone shape.
In order to make the side brush have a better cleaning effect, the main body 51 is provided with 3 fixing arms 53, and the spacing angles between the 3 fixing arms 53 are equal. Because there is more intractable dirty, after the brush hair cleans once, dirty probably can not be cleared away completely, so set up 3 fixed arms 53, make main part 51 round can clean 3 times to same position, can avoid still having intractable dirty after once cleaning like this, make the brush hair 55 on the fixed arm 53 better work, improve the work efficiency of brush hair 55, three fixed arms 53 equiangular setting looks more pleasing to the eye moreover, accords with human aesthetic setting. In theory, any fixing arm can be arranged on the assembly, and the fixing arm is not limited to 3 fixing arms.
According to the cleaning robot side brush and the cleaning robot, the bristles are distributed on the side brush fixing arm, the lengths of the bristles are sequentially increased along the direction away from the rotation center of the side brush, the top ends of the bristles are in contact with the ground, and an angle of not less than 20 degrees and not more than 85 degrees is formed between the bristles and the surface to be cleaned, so that the bristles can be conveniently attached to the ground; through the design, the top ends of the bristles can be enabled to penetrate into fiber gaps of the floor and the carpet when the side brush brushes the floor, so that the floor can be cleaned better, and particularly, the cleaning effect on particles and hairs on the carpet is better.
