6. A packaging assembly as in claim 5, wherein said intermediate assembly further comprises a filler board, said second placement slot being capable of placing four board layers, the filler board being used to fill the void between the board layers and the second placement slot.

7. The package assembly as recited in claim 6 wherein said base, intermediate assembly, cover and filler board are each honeycomb board and said cushioning pad is pearl wool.

8. A package assembly as recited in claim 7, further comprising a plastic strapping band for sealing the outer carton, the honeycomb paper backing plate being disposed between the ribs on the outer carton and the strapping band.
