Abstract

本实用新型涉及拼接式导光板组合、背光模组及显示装置。一种拼接式导光板组合,由多个导光板拼接而成,各该导光板具有呈圆弧状的至少一入光面及出光面,彼此相邻的至少两个导光板以各自的入光面共同形成用以容纳发光元件的容置空间。

拼接式导光板组合、背光模组及显示装置
技术领域
本申请主要为一种导光板,特别是涉及一种应用于背光模组的拼接式导光板组合。
背景技术
请参照图1,其是一种习知的直下式背光模组9,该习知的直下式背光模组9具有框架91、多个LED光源92、扩散板(Diffuser Plate)93、棱镜片94及上扩散片(Diffuser)95,其中,该多个LED光源92设置于该框架91内部,该扩散板93位于该多个LED光源92前方,该棱镜片94 位于该扩散板93与该上扩散片95之间。该习知的直下式背光模组9通过位于该框架91与该扩散板93之间的空气层L进行外观雾化,以及通过该棱镜片94进行集光。
上述习知的直下式背光模组9的该多个LED光源92,由于为采用阵列型的排列方式,故可以很容易实现多分区独立亮度控制,意即,可以实现局部背光调节和高动态范围(HDR)效果的展现,但是为使得混光均匀,必须大幅度地增加该扩散板93与该空气层L厚度,导致该习知的直下式背光模组9的整体厚度亦相对增加,不利于薄型化设计的发展。再者,过厚的该扩散板93又造成该习知的直下式背光模组9的辉度大减,而且该多个LED光源92的颗数也无法降低。
另一方面,相对于习知的侧入式背光模组,由于为采用光源从侧边入光,以及使用导光板作为传播光的载体,故可以实现超薄设计,但正是由于该侧入式背光模组为采用侧边入光模式,因此,无法实现二维的亮度控制,具有无法实现多分区的局部背光调节效果的问题。有鉴于此,有必要提供一种拼接式导光板组合,以解决上述的问题。
实用新型内容
本申请的目的在于提供一种拼接式导光板组合,可以将多个导光板通过拼接组合方式,使直下式背光模组转变成侧入式背光模组。
本申请的次一目的在于提供一种背光模组,可以包含前述拼接式导光板组合。
本申请的又一目的在于提供一种显示装置,可以包含前述背光模组。
为达成上述目的,本申请提供一种拼接式导光板组合,由多个导光板拼接而成,各该导光板具有呈圆弧状的至少一入光面及出光面,彼此相邻的至少两个导光板,以各自的入光面共同形成用以容纳发光元件的容置空间。
本申请次提供一种背光模组,包含:多个前述拼接式导光板组合,其共同拼接形成面发光本体,以界定出多个容置空间;及多个发光元件,分别设置于该多个容置空间中。
本申请又提供一种显示装置,包含:前述背光模组;及显示面板,设置于该背光模组的前方。
在一些实施例中,该导光板的底面具有多个光学微结构。
在一些实施例中,该导光板的中间区域的该多个光学微结构的密度大于较邻近该导光板的入光面的区域的该多个光学微结构的密度。
在一些实施例中,各该发光元件包含发光二极体及包覆该发光二极体的透明结构。
在一些实施例中,该透明结构的顶面形成凹陷部,该发光二极体所发出的光线经由该凹陷部反射,使该光线由该透明结构的侧向出光。
在一些实施例中,该发光元件另包含反射结构,该反射结构遮蔽该发光二极体的顶面,该发光二极体所发出的光线经由该反射结构反射,使该光线由该透明结构的侧向出光。
在一些实施例中,该发光元件具有多个发光面,该多个发光面的数量为N1,形成各该容置空间的该多个导光板的入光面的数量为N2,其中, N1≦N2。
在一些实施例中,本申请的背光模组,还可以另包含依序设置于该面发光本体前方的下扩散片、棱镜片及上扩散片。
本申请的背光模组及显示装置具有下列特点:可以采用包含多个拼接式导光板组合的发光本体,并于该多个拼接式导光板组合所界定出的多个容置空间中分别设置发光元件。如此,将直下式背光模组转换为侧入式背光模组,使能够在保有直下式LED区域点灯的特色下,降低背光模组的整体厚度,以及降低背光模组组装难度,具有薄型化设计及提升产能的功效。再者,本申请的拼接式导光板组合,一方面可以实现多分区亮度的独立控制,且与传统的侧入式背光模组相比,可用于局部背光调节和HDR 效果的展现。另一方面,利用该多个导光板的出光均匀化效果,与传统直下式背光模组相比,节省了混光空间,从而可实现超薄设计。

具体实施方式
兹配合图式将本申请实施例详细说明如下,其所附附图主要为简化的示意图,仅以示意方式说明本申请的基本结构,因此在这些图式中仅标示与本申请有关的元件,且所显示的元件并非以实施时的数目、形状、尺寸比例等加以绘制,其实际实施时的规格尺寸实为一种选择性的设计,且其元件布局形态有可能更为复杂。
以下各实施例的说明是参考附加的附图,用以例示本申请可据以实施的特定实施例。本申请所提到的方向用语,例如「上」、「下」、「前」、「后」等,仅是参考附加附图的方向。因此,使用的方向用语是用以说明及理解本申请,而非用以限制本申请。另外,在说明书中,除非明确地描述为相反的,否则词语“包含”将被理解为意指包含所述元件,但是不排除任何其它元件。
请参照图2、3所示,其是本申请拼接式导光板组合1的较佳实施例,该拼接式导光板组合1由多个导光板11拼接而成,各该导光板11具有至少一入光面111及出光面112,该入光面111朝该导光板中心凹设成形,可以呈圆弧状设计,该出光面112的几何形状可以为概呈正三角形、概呈正方形、概呈正五角形或概呈正六角形等态样,但不以此为限。彼此相邻的至少两个导光板11以各自的入光面111共同形成容置空间S,该容置空间S用以容纳发光元件2。如此,习知直下式背光模组可以藉由本申请拼接式导光板组合1转换为侧入式背光模组,使能够在保有直下式LED 区域点灯的特色下,降低背光模组的整体厚度,以及降低背光模组组装难度,具有薄型化设计及提升产能的作用。
本申请的主要设计架构,就是通过采用该拼接式导光板组合1的方式,一方面可以实现多分区亮度的独立控制,且与传统的侧入式背光模组相比,可用于局部背光调节和高动态范围效果的展现。另一方面,利用该多个导光板11的出光均匀化效果,与传统直下式背光模组相比,节省了混光空间,从而可实现超薄设计。除此之外,还可以再搭配各该导光板11 皆具有呈圆弧状的入光面111,以进一步提高各该导光板11与该发光元件 2之间的光耦合效率。再者,本申请的拼接式导光板组合1并无方向性,也可减少组装困难。
具体而言,该导光板11的底面具有多个光学微结构113,在本实施例中,该导光板11的中间区域的该多个光学微结构113的密度大于较邻近该导光板11的入光面111的区域的该多个光学微结构113的密度。如此,藉由该多个光学微结构113愈远离该入光面111的密度愈高,来让更多的光线可以经由该多个光学微结构113破坏全反射而向上出光,可以使该导光板11的发光区域亮度较为平均,而不再集中于该导光板11的入光面 111的区域。
请参照图3所示,在本实施例中,各该发光元件2可以包含发光二极体21及透明结构22,其中,该透明结构22包覆该发光二极体21,该透明结构22的顶面形成凹陷部23,该发光二极体21所发出的光线经由该凹陷部23反射,使该光线由该透明结构22的侧向出光。举例而言,各该透明结构22可以为二次光学透镜(2nd Lens),以达到均匀出光的作用,但不以此为限。
请参照图4所示,在另一实施例中,各该发光元件2可以包含该发光二极体21、该透明结构22及反射结构24,其中,该透明结构22可以呈半球状,并包覆该发光二极体21,该反射结构24遮蔽该发光二极体21的顶面,该发光二极体21所发出的光线经由该反射结构24反射,使该光线由该透明结构22的侧向出光。
值得一提的是,该发光元件2可以具有多个发光面,该多个发光面的数量为N1,形成各该容置空间S的该多个导光板11的入光面111的数量为N2,其中,N1≦N2。请参照图5所示,举例而言,当该导光板11的出光面112的几何形状概呈正三角形,并以6片导光板11拼成六边形时,形成该容置空间S的入光面111的数量为六个,也就是N2=6,但是该发光元件2具有四个发光面,也就是N1=4。此时通过该透明结构22的设计,即可以让该发光元件2的四个发光面,转化为360度的出光,供该拼接式导光板组合1进行高效率的光耦合。
请参照图2,本申请背光模组的较佳实施例包含:多个前述拼接式导光板组合1,其共同拼接形成面发光本体P,以界定出多个容置空间S,以及多个发光元件2,该多个发光元件2分别设置于该多个容置空间S中,在本申请中,该面发光本体P的外观态样不加以限制。
请参照图6所示,本申请的背光模组还可以另包含依序设置于该面发光本体P前方的下扩散片3、棱镜片4及上扩散片5,意即,该下扩散片3 设置于该面发光本体P前方,该棱镜片4设置于该下扩散片3前方,该上扩散片5设置于该棱镜片4前方,其中图6只绘示该面发光本体P的其中一个拼接式导光板组合1,故不应以附图揭露内容为限。
请续参照图6所示,其是本申请显示装置的较佳实施例,包含前述背光模组,及显示面板6,该显示面板6设置于该背光模组的前方。
承上所述,本申请的背光模组及显示装置可以采用包含多个拼接式导光板组合的发光本体,并于该多个拼接式导光板组合所界定出的多个容置空间中分别设置发光元件。如此,将直下式背光模组转换为侧入式背光模组,使能够在保有直下式LED区域点灯的特色下,降低背光模组的整体厚度,以及降低背光模组组装难度,具有薄型化设计及提升产能的功效。再者,本申请的拼接式导光板组合,一方面可以实现多分区亮度的独立控制,且与传统的侧入式背光模组相比,可用于局部背光调节和HDR效果的展现。另一方面,利用该多个导光板的出光均匀化效果,与传统直下式背光模组相比,节省了混光空间,从而可实现超薄设计。

1.一种拼接式导光板组合,其特征在于,由多个导光板拼接而成,各该导光板具有呈圆弧状的至少一入光面及出光面,彼此相邻的至少两个导光板以各自的入光面共同形成用以容纳发光元件的容置空间。
2.如权利要求1所述的拼接式导光板组合,其特征在于,该导光板的底面具有多个光学微结构。
3.如权利要求2所述的拼接式导光板组合,其特征在于,该导光板的中间区域的该多个光学微结构的密度大于较邻近该导光板的入光面的区域的该多个光学微结构的密度。
4.一种背光模组,其特征在于,包含:
多个如权利要求1至3中任一项所述的拼接式导光板组合,其共同拼接形成面发光本体,以界定出多个容置空间;及
多个发光元件,分别设置于该多个容置空间中。
5.如权利要求4所述的背光模组,其特征在于,各该发光元件包含发光二极体及包覆该发光二极体的透明结构。
6.如权利要求5所述的背光模组,其特征在于,该透明结构的顶面形成凹陷部,该发光二极体所发出的光线经由该凹陷部反射,使该光线由该透明结构的侧向出光。
7.如权利要求5所述的背光模组,其特征在于,该发光元件另包含反射结构,所述反射结构遮蔽该发光二极体的顶面,该发光二极体所发出的光线经由该反射结构反射,使该光线由该透明结构的侧向出光。
8.如权利要求4所述的背光模组,其特征在于,该发光元件具有多个发光面,该多个发光面的数量为N1,形成各该容置空间的该多个导光板的入光面的数量为N2,其中,N1≦N2。
9.如权利要求4所述的背光模组,其特征在于,另包含依序设置于该面发光本体前方的下扩散片、棱镜片及上扩散片。
10.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包含:
