8. The hood latch assembly of any of claims 1-7, further comprising a restraint post extending through the latch mounting plate and the latch securing plate to restrain the latch mounting plate from rotating.
9. A bonnet characterised in that the bonnet is provided with a bonnet lock assembly as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 to 8, the bonnet being locked to the lock body by a lock of the bonnet lock assembly.
