A backlight is widely used as a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) of a flat panel display, and since it is a light receiving device for displaying an image by adjusting the number, it requires a backlight unit for maintaining uniform brightness over the entire screen. Such BLU is a direct method (Top-Down system) of directly dimming the entire surface of a substrate by placing a light source at the bottom of a liquid crystal panel, and edge lighting of dimming light by placing a light source at the edge of one or both sides of a liquid crystal panel by reflection and diffuse reflection of light by a light guide plate and a reflective sheet. In recent years, in the field of display, edge-type BLU is generally used because electronic devices are required to be light and thin, to have low power consumption, and to have high color reproducibility. Conventionally known edge type BLUs are polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyethylene or phthalate (polyethylene naphthalate; PEN), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate various materials such as (polycarbonate; PC) are used as the base film. PEN materials are increasing in marketability as the excellent optical properties of Dual Brightness Enhancement Films (DBEFs) made of the material are widely known. However, PEN-based films have poor adhesion to other materials due to the characteristics of the materials themselves, and it is difficult to directly apply a coating layer on PEN-based films.
