Description

Electronic device with a detachable cover
Technical Field
The present invention relates to electronic devices, and particularly to an electronic device including an expansion card.
Background
Generally, a display card includes a fixing plate and a circuit board assembly. The circuit board assembly is fixed on one side of the fixing plate. The circuit board assembly is inserted into the electric connector on the mainboard and is fixed on the shell through the fixing plate. As the performance requirements for display cards continue to increase, the number of electronic components on the circuit board assembly increases, which increases the overall weight of the circuit board assembly. Therefore, the side of the circuit board assembly away from the fixing plate has a problem of sagging because it is not supported. Some manufacturers may mount a support frame on the housing, and use the support frame to support the side of the circuit board assembly away from the fixing plate.
However, for example, the power supplies on the motherboards with different specifications are disposed at different positions, which makes the electrical connectors on the motherboards for the circuit board assemblies of the display card to be plugged into different positions. Therefore, the distance between the circuit board assembly of the display card and the shell is changed, and the circuit board assembly of the expansion card can be supported by the support frame only by changing the length of the support frame. That is, the conventional supporting frame fixed to the housing is difficult to be used for motherboards of different specifications.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The present invention provides an electronic device, wherein the support frame of the electronic device can stably support the expansion cards arranged at different positions on the main board and can be commonly used for the main boards with different specifications.
The electronic device disclosed in an embodiment of the utility model includes a housing, a motherboard, an expansion card and a support frame. The mainboard is arranged in the shell. The expansion card comprises a circuit board component and a fixing plate. The circuit board assembly is fixed on one side of the fixing plate. The circuit board assembly is electrically connected with the mainboard and fixed on the shell through the fixing plate. One side of the supporting frame supports one side of the circuit board assembly, which is far away from the fixed plate, and one side of the supporting frame, which is far away from the circuit board assembly, is fixed on the mainboard and the shell.
According to the electronic device disclosed in the above embodiment, since the side of the support frame away from the circuit board assembly is fixed to the main board and the housing, the support frame can be fixed to the housing by using the existing through hole on the main board. In addition, in motherboards of different specifications, the distances between the electrical connectors for plugging the circuit board components of the expansion card and the through holes of the motherboard are generally not very different. Therefore, the support frame can be used for stably expanding circuit board components of the card and can also be used for motherboards with different specifications.
