Description

Connector positioning and locking device and electromechanical equipment
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a positioning and locking device, in particular to a connector positioning and locking device and electromechanical equipment.
Background
Various types of connectors are used in many electromechanical devices, such as electrical connectors used in vehicles, whose functions are mainly to complete the electrical connection, to transmit electrical signals and power, and to ensure that the electrical connection remains continuous and uninterrupted throughout the life of the vehicle, while ensuring that the mechanical connection is robust and free of faults. The function of the connector is realized by firstly ensuring that the connector can be completely connected in place during installation and the situation of disconnection can not occur in the use process. If the above-mentioned functions are performed only by the structure of the connector itself, it is generally necessary to reduce the fastening force for easy installation and to increase the fastening force for enhancing the locking function, however, the above two objects are actually contradictory to each other and cannot be satisfied at the same time. Thus, the connector positioning device may be used to secure the components that are connected in place and provide additional latching functionality. If the connector is not properly installed, the connector positioning device will not be installed. The latching feature provides additional retention to the connector after the connector retention device is installed, to ensure that the connector remains attached during vibration or corrosive conditions.
However, the conventional connector positioning device has disadvantages in terms of structural configuration, safety and reliability, and convenience in operation. For example, as shown in fig. 1, a currently commonly used connector positioning device 10 'generally employs a locking mechanism 11', and after the connector positioning device is connected with a connector 20', the locking is confirmed through the locking mechanism 11', which has the problems of low mechanical connection strength, insufficient locking force, inconvenient installation, and the like.

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of an embodiment of a connector alignment locking device and corresponding connector to be installed in accordance with the present invention.
FIG. 3 is a side view of the embodiment of the connector alignment locking device of FIG. 2 after it has been installed in connection with a corresponding connector.
Detailed Description
First, it should be noted that the composition, construction, features, advantages, etc. of the connector alignment locking device and electromechanical device according to the present invention are described below by way of example, but it should be understood that all descriptions are given by way of illustration only and thus should not be construed to limit the present invention in any way. In this document, the terms "first", "second" and "first" are used for distinguishing between similar elements and not necessarily for describing a sequential or relative importance, the term "connected" covers that a particular element is directly connected to another element and/or indirectly connected to another element, the terms "left", "right", "front", "rear", "inner", "outer" and derivatives thereof shall relate to the orientation in the drawings, and the utility model may assume various alternative orientations unless otherwise specified.
Furthermore, to any single feature described or implicit in an embodiment or shown or implicit in the drawings, the utility model still allows any combination or permutation to continue between the features (or their equivalents) without any technical impediment, thus achieving more other embodiments of the utility model that may not be directly mentioned herein. In addition, for simplicity of the drawings, identical or similar parts and features may be indicated in the same drawing only in one or several places.
An embodiment of a connector alignment locking device according to the present invention to be installed and a corresponding perspective configuration of a connector are schematically illustrated in FIG. 2, and a side view of the connector alignment locking device after installation connection with the connector is further illustrated in FIG. 3.
The connector alignment locking device 10 may be made of any suitable material, such as plastic, metal, composite material, etc., which may be flexibly selected according to different application requirements. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the connector positioning and locking device 10 may include a first section 1, a second section 2, and an intermediate section 3 connected to each other. Wherein, a first positioning locking part 11 and a second positioning locking part 21 are respectively arranged on the first section 1 and the second section 2, so as to respectively engage with a first mating part 22 arranged on the first connector 20 and a second mating part 32 arranged on the second connector 30 when the connector positioning locking device 10 is mounted and connected with the corresponding first connector 20 and second connector 30, thereby locking the first connector 20 and the second connector 30 in place. That is, by performing the one-time mounting operation on the connector positioning and locking device 10, the locking of both the first connector 20 and the second connector 30 can be simultaneously completed, so that a more convenient connector double-locking operation step can be realized with a minimum number of product components, providing a more reliable and effective locking effect and locking holding force.
In practice, the pressing portion 32 may be provided on the middle section 3 of the connector positioning and locking device 10 for the user to perform the pressing operation to perform the above-mentioned mounting operation. As shown in fig. 3, the pressing portion 32 may optionally be configured to have a slip-resistant feature, such as having any suitable contour, such as a wave, which may provide a better handling feel. Furthermore, it is also conceivable to configure the top area of the intermediate section 3 to be relatively larger than in the prior art, so that it is more convenient for the user to press to complete the locking operation of the docking insert to mount these components in place.
By way of illustration, the first section 1 and the second section 2 may alternatively be configured to form an inverted U-shaped configuration, such as shown in fig. 2, and may alternatively be configured to be symmetrically disposed with respect to each other, which may provide effective identification in the event of connector skew, resulting in possible installation of only one side in place, and failure to simultaneously complete both sides of the lock, thereby prompting the user to readjust in time to complete the final secure and reliable lock.
In various embodiments, the first positioning locking portion 11 of the first segment 1 and the second positioning locking portion 21 of the second segment 2 may have any suitable configuration for mating engagement with the first mating portion 22 of the first connector 20 and the second mating portion 32 of the second connector 30, respectively, to complete the positioning lock between the connector positioning locking device 10 and the first connector 20 and the second connector 30.
For example, in some embodiments, the first positioning and locking part 11 (or the second positioning and locking part 21) may be configured in a protrusion form so as to be correspondingly matched with the first fitting part 22 (or the second fitting part 32) provided in a groove form. It will be appreciated that the above-mentioned protrusions may be configured in any suitable shape, such as a tooth shape, and the specific number, arrangement position, size, etc. of the above-mentioned protrusions may be set according to the application requirements, for example, two, three or more protrusions may be provided on the first section 1 (or the second section 2) at the same time, and the protrusions may be arranged at intervals from each other so as to provide a better locking force arrangement, resulting in a more reliable and safe locking effect.
It should be noted that the connector positioning and locking device according to the present invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments discussed above. For example, in some embodiments, three, four or more segments may be provided on the connector positioning and locking device for matching and connecting with three, four or more corresponding connectors, so as to achieve multiple locking effects, and effectively solve the problems of insufficient locking force, inconvenient installation, and the like of the conventional device. For another example, in some embodiments, the middle section in the above exemplary embodiments may be eliminated, and the first section and the second section are directly connected together, which may be beneficial to simplify the overall structure and reduce the manufacturing cost of the components in some applications.
In addition, according to the design concept of the utility model, an electromechanical device is provided, on which the connector positioning and locking device provided according to the utility model can be mounted, and two, three or more connectors locked in place by the connector positioning and locking device. By means of the connector positioning and locking device, the mechanical connection strength, the locking effect and the locking retaining force of the connector on the electromechanical equipment can be effectively provided, and therefore the safety and the reliability of the equipment are enhanced. It should be understood that electromechanical devices according to the present invention may include, but are not limited to, various types of devices such as those used in vehicles.
The connector alignment locking device and electromechanical device according to the present invention have been described in detail above by way of example only, and these examples are provided only for the purpose of illustrating the principles of the present invention and its embodiments, and are not to be construed as limiting the utility model, and various alterations and modifications may be made by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, all equivalents are intended to be included within the scope of this invention and defined in the claims which follow.
