5. A semi-open cabinet according to claim 3 wherein the rails or uprights are provided with extension panels, wherein the two sides of the deck rest on extension panels of the rails in the same horizontal plane or on extension panels of the longitudinal rails in the same horizontal plane.

A semi-open wardrobe according to claim 4, wherein the vertical rails are provided with reinforcing ribs along the length of the vertical rails and the reinforcing ribs are attached to the inner side walls of the vertical rails, wherein when the reinforcing ribs are provided on the vertical rails or the crosspieces of the connecting plate, the reinforcing ribs serve as the side walls of the open ends of the first or second elongated grooves.

10. A semi-open cabinet according to claim 9 wherein the distance between adjacent ones of the side walls in which the ribs and the stiffeners are located is the same as the thickness of the second leg.
