For example, the mounting beam 404a shown in fig. 3 attaches the L-shaped connecting plate in the second panel mounting device 122a of the first roof panel element 100a in the horizontal position and the L-shaped connecting plate in the first panel mounting device 121b of the first roof panel element 100b in the horizontal position so that the third panel body portion 113a of the first roof panel element 100a partially overlaps the second panel body portion 112b of the first roof panel element 100b in the horizontal position in the vertical direction.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, and in particular in fig. 7 and 8, the mounting of the first roof panel element 100 to the mounting beam 404 may be performed by means of self-tapping screws 230 or equivalent fastening means, for example stainless steel self-tapping screws, which are used to fasten the first roof panel element 100 to the mounting beam 404 via L- shaped connecting plates 1211 and 1221. This structural design of the first roof panel element 100 makes the installation process simple and does not require any consideration of the order of installation of each first roof panel element.
As shown in fig. 1, 2, 3, 6 and 7, a sealing mechanism 300 may be provided between each two installed first roof panel elements 100, said sealing mechanism 300 may comprise a sealing strip 301 which is a tight fit in the gap formed by the third panel portion 113a of the first roof panel element 100a and the second panel portion 112a of the first roof panel element 100 b. In some embodiments the sealing mechanism 300 may further include a sealing compound 302 disposed laterally outward of the sealing strip 301 for further sealing, such as a silicone weatherproof sealing compound. In some embodiments, the sealing mechanism 300 may not be provided with a sealing strip, and the sealing is achieved directly by using a sealing glue.
In other embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, the sloping roof top includes a sloping roof deck, a plurality of support structures 400 secured to the sloping roof deck, and an elevated ridge 500 at the top of the sloping roof deck. Each support structure 400 may comprise a stile structure 401 and a plurality of support posts 402 arranged at an angle to the stile structure such that the support posts 402 are substantially vertical when the stile structure is mounted on a sloping roof deck. Wherein the support columns include a first support column 402a having a first height and a second support column 402b having a second height greater than the first height. The ridge is supported by said second support column 402b, the first roof plate element 100 being fixed to the first support column 401a and the second roof plate element 200 being fixed to the uppermost first and second support columns 401a, 401 b.
Similarly, the first or second support columns at the same height position may have the same height to fit the roof panel element.
