8. The wick structure according to claim 7, further comprising a conditioning chip, wherein the conditioning chip is mounted to the mounting surface and is received within the protective cover.
9. The core structure of claim 1 wherein the support structure is a circuit board.
10. A pressure sensor comprising a core structure according to any one of claims 1 to 9.
