The energy absorbing mechanism 100 is arranged in a vehicle body wrapping frame 60 of a vehicle, a buffering space is formed between the energy absorbing mechanism 100 and a seat 50 of the vehicle, the energy absorbing mechanism 100 comprises a sleeve 110 and an elastic piece 120, the elastic piece 120 is arranged in the sleeve 110, and the sleeve 110 is provided with an opening 111.
The latch portion 200 is coupled to the elastic member 120 and the seat 50. In the present embodiment, the body-covering shelf 60 has an opening at a position corresponding to the locking portion 200 so that the locking portion 200 can be connected to the elastic member 120 through the opening and perform a piston movement in the opening of the body-covering shelf 60.
When the seat 50 moves toward the energy absorbing mechanism 100 in the buffer space, the locking portion 200 can compress the elastic member 120 toward the bottom of the sleeve 110 through the opening 111. That is, as shown in fig. 1, after a rear-end collision of the vehicle, the locking portion 200 is inserted into the opening of the body wrap bracket 60 and compresses the elastic member 120 through the opening 111 of the sleeve 110. In this embodiment, the ability of the seat 50 to move toward the energy absorbing mechanism 100 is determined by the stiffness coefficient of the elastomeric member 120.
When the seat 50 moves away from the energy absorbing mechanism 100 in the buffer space, the elastic restoring force of the elastic member 120 can push the latch portion 200 to return to the initial position. I.e., the initial position of the locking portion 200 as shown in fig. 2.
In the present embodiment, by providing the energy absorbing mechanism 100 and connecting the lock portion 200 to the energy absorbing mechanism 100 and the seat 50 in the vehicle body covering frame 60, after a rear-end collision of the vehicle occurs, due to inertia, as the seat back 510 is moved toward the energy absorbing mechanism 100 by a rearward impact force from the occupant's back, the seat back 510 rotates backward in the buffering space around the rotation axis between the seat back 510 and the seat base, and at the same time, drives the locking portion 200 and the energy absorbing mechanism 100 to move relatively, that is, the latching part 200 compresses the elastic member 120 toward the bottom of the socket 110, and the elastic member 120 provides an opposite elastic restoring force to the latching part 200, so that the impact of the passenger's back against the seat back 510 in the backward direction is buffered, at the same time, the rebound effect of the seat headrest 520 on the head is reduced, so that the seat safety device 10 achieves the energy absorption effect, and the injury of rear-end collision to the neck and the head of a passenger is reduced. Therefore, the seat safety apparatus 10 has an advantage of reducing injury of a rear passenger from whiplash during a rear-end collision.
