Description

Stretch film packaging machine
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a stretch film wrapping machine according to embodiment 1.
Background
Such stretch film wrapping machines are known in principle, for example, from DE 102016125132 a1 or DE 10227601 a 1. Another stretch film wrapping machine is also known from US 8,191,340B 1.
In such conventional stretch film wrapping machines, side guards are typically provided on both sides of the machine that extend all the way down to the mounting face of the stretch film wrapping machine. The inner space of the stretch film wrapping machine behind the side flaps is necessary and is used to receive electrical, pneumatic, tool and/or lifting devices for the movable tool parts.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The aim of the utility model is to simplify the stretch film packaging machine in terms of construction and to improve the feasibility of cleaning the machine.
This object is achieved by a stretch film wrapping machine having the features of embodiment 1. In other embodiments, advantageous refinements of the utility model are specified.
The stretch film wrapping machine according to the utility model has a free space which is arranged within the machine frame and below the lifting device of the forming station and which has a height above a mounting surface on which the stretch film wrapping machine can be placed of at least 400 mm. Additionally or alternatively, the stretch film wrapping machine according to the utility model has a free space which is arranged within the machine frame and below the lifting device of the sealing station and which has a height above the mounting surface of at least 400 mm. Free space means that there are no components of the stretch film wrapping machine in these areas. Preferably, the height of the free space above the mounting surface is even at least 500 mm. The setting surface may be the floor of a factory hall.
The respective working station, i.e. the forming station or the sealing station, is also particularly easily accessible from below via the free space. This makes it possible to facilitate control and maintenance work at the respective work station and in particular to facilitate cleaning of the area below the work station. Furthermore, the material requirements for the construction of the machine are less compared to conventional stretch film wrapping machines, so that the stretch film wrapping machine can be manufactured in a less costly and more resource-efficient manner than conventional machines.
It is particularly advantageous if the width of the free space is at least 400mm, preferably at least 500mm, so that in practice a significant space for the inlet under the respective work station is obtained. The free space can also extend over the entire machine width in the region of the forming station and/or the working station.
In connection with the utility model, it can be advantageous if the side wall has a height of at least 300mm, preferably a slightly smaller height of at most 250mm, at least on one side of the stretch film wrapping machine and at least in the region of the shaping station and/or the sealing station. This measure also contributes to a reduction in the material consumption required for the construction of stretch film packaging machines and furthermore has the advantage, inter alia, that it is also possible to carry out operating or maintenance work in the forming and/or sealing station in a seated manner, that is to say in a position in which the feet and, if appropriate, the knees of the operator are located below the side flaps
It is particularly advantageous if the height of the side flaps, even on both sides of the stretch film wrapping machine and at least in the region of the shaping station and/or sealing station, is at most 300mm, preferably at most 250 mm. In this way, easy accessibility to the operator from both sides of the machine is achieved. It is conceivable that the height of the side dams, even over their entire length in the conveying direction of the stretch film wrapping machine, is at most 300mm, preferably at most 250 mm.
For maintenance purposes, it may be advantageous for the lower edge of the side wall to be spaced at least 600mm from the mounting surface, at least in the region of the forming station and/or the sealing station, for accessibility to the machine. This makes it possible for the operator to adopt a sitting position at the machine for maintenance or handling, in which the feet and/or knees of the operator protrude into the region of the stretch film wrapping machine, so that the operator can also approach the stretch film wrapping machine particularly in a seated manner.
In this connection, it makes sense to take additional measures with regard to operational safety. For this purpose, for example, a bottom trough can be provided below the lifting device of the shaping station or below the lifting device of the sealing station at a height of at least 400mm, preferably at least 500mm, above the setting surface, which bottom trough protects the operator from accidental contact with the lifting device.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an intermittently operating stretch film wrapping machine 1 according to the present invention. The stretch film wrapping machine 1 has a forming station 2, a sealing station 3, a transverse cutting device 4, and a longitudinal cutting device 5, which are arranged in this order on a frame 6 in a conveying direction R. On the input side, a supply roll 7 is arranged on the machine frame 6, from which a carrier film 8 is drawn off. The stretch film wrapping machine 1 furthermore has a conveyor chain 11, in particular a conveyor chain or gripper chain 11 arranged on both sides, which grips the carrier film 8 and conveys the carrier film 8 further in the conveying direction R in each main operating cycle.
In the embodiment shown, forming station 2 is configured as a stretching station, in which grooves are formed in carrier film 8 by stretching, for example by means of compressed air and/or vacuum. Here, the forming station 2 may be configured such that a plurality of grooves are formed side by side in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction R. After the shaping station 2 in the conveying direction R, a filling section 12 is provided, in which filling section 12 the recesses formed in the carrier film 8 are filled with the product.
The sealing station 3 has a sealably closed chamber 3a in which the atmosphere in the recess can be evacuated and/or replaced by gas purging with an exchange gas or a gas mixture, for example, before sealing by means of the upper film 10 output from the upper film receptacle 9.
The transverse cutting device 4 may be configured as a blanking machine which severs the bottom film 8 and the top film 10 between adjacent recesses in a direction transverse to the conveying direction R. The transverse cutting device 4 is operated in such a way that the carrier film 8 is not cut over the entire width, but at least in the edge regions. This enables a controlled further transport by means of the conveyor chain 11.
The longitudinal cutting device 5 can be configured as a knife device, by means of which the base film 8 and the upper film 10 are cut off between adjacent recesses and at the side edges of the base film 8 in the conveying direction R, so that the packages are separated after the longitudinal cutting device 5.
The right and left conveyor chains 11 and 11 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1, which grasp the base film 8 on both sides, are respectively guided in chain guide portions 13. The chain guides 13 are each protected to the outside by a side wall 14 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 and are optionally fastened to the side wall 14. The side dams 14 may be plate members.
Further, the stretch film wrapping machine 1 has a control section 19. The task is to control and monitor the processes taking place in stretch film wrapping machine 1. The display device 20 with the operating elements 21 serves to display the process sequence in the stretch film wrapping machine 1 to an operator or to influence the process sequence in the stretch film wrapping machine 1 by the operator.
In the switch cabinet 22, central electrical and/or electronic components of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 are arranged, for example, connection components to an external power supply. The side of the stretch film packaging machine 1 facing the viewer in fig. 1 is an operating side B, on which an operator is located to actuate the operating elements 21 or, if appropriate, to fill the packaging recesses along the filling section 12. The switch cabinet 22 is disposed on the side of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 opposite the operation side B.
Fig. 2 shows in a side view how the stretch film wrapping machine 1 is placed with its machine frame 6 on an erection surface 23, for example the floor of a factory hall. Fig. 2 shows the stretch film wrapping machine 1 from the operation side B.
The side flaps 14 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 are at least on the operating side B of the stretch film wrapping machine 1, but in the present exemplary embodiment on both sides of the stretch film wrapping machine 1, have a height h of at most 300mm, for example 200mm to 250 mm. The side wall has the aforementioned height h at least in the region of the forming station 2 or the sealing station 3, but in the exemplary embodiment shown over the entire length of the stretch film wrapping machine 1. The height of the side dams 14 is marked h in fig. 2.
The forming station 2 and the sealing station 3 each have a lifting device (see fig. 3). As shown in fig. 2, the lifting devices of the forming station 2 and the sealing station 3 are covered downward by a bottom groove 24 which extends slightly farther downward than the lower edge 14a of the side dam 14.
According to the utility model, the free space F is located below the forming station 2, in particular below the lifting device of the forming station 2, and within the frame 6 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1. The height H of the free space F between the bottom slot 24 and the bridging surface 23 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 is at least 400mm, for example 550mm to 650 mm. The free space F may thus in particular have a height H of 500mm or more. Preferably, the lower edge 14a of the side screen 14 is at a distance H1 of at least 400mm to 500mm from the mounting surface 23, at least in the region of the forming station 2 and/or in the region of the sealing station 3.
A free space F is also present in the machine frame 6 below the sealing station 3, in particular below the bottom trough 24 in the region of the sealing station 3, which is of similar dimensions to the free space F below the forming station 2. In fig. 2, the free space F is located below the sealing station 3 before the switch cabinet 22 laterally next to the rack 6.
Fig. 3 shows a vertical section through the stretch film wrapping machine 1 at the location marked III in fig. 2, i.e. at the forming station 2. The cross-section at the sealing station 3 looks similar.
The frame 6 supports right and left frames or side frames 25. Schematically, chain guides 13 are shown, which are provided for guiding the conveyor chain 11 and are each fastened to a side frame 25. Each frame 25 is covered outwardly by a side dam 14. Electrical and/or pneumatic lines run inside the frame 25.
Fig. 3 further shows that the forming station 2 (or the sealing station 3) has an upper tool 26 and a lower tool 27. The upper tool 26 and the lower tool 27 can be moved towards each other by means of a lifting device 28 in order to act on the carrier film 8 located between the upper tool 26 and the lower tool 27. For the shaping station 2 this means that grooves are stretched (tiefgezogen) in the carrier film 8. For the sealing station 3, the base film 8 and the upper film 10 are located between the two tools 26, 27, the base film 8 and the upper film 10 being sealed to each other by the action of the upper tool 26 and the lower tool 27. A bottom trough 24, which protects the lifting device 28 downwards and can also support it if necessary, is located below the lifting device 28. The bottom slots 24 are arranged with a height H above the mounting surface 23 of at least 400mm, preferably even 500mm or more. The bottom channel thus limits the free space F upwards, where it is located inside the frame 6 of the stretch film wrapping machine. The width B of the free space F within the frame 6 is at least 400mm, preferably even at least 500 mm. As mentioned at the outset, the free space F enables particularly easy access to the forming station 2 and/or the sealing station 3 from below on the one hand and to the region below the forming station and/or the sealing station for cleaning on the other hand.
