Optionally, in the above embodiment, among the N bending regions, each bending region that is located on the same side of the electronic device and is exposed outside meets a coplanar condition, but this is not limited in the present application, and is specifically determined as the case may be.
Specifically, on the basis of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, when the electronic device is in a bent state, the electronic device has N bending regions, where N is an integer greater than 1; in this embodiment, when the electronic device is in the bent state, the portions of the flexible display screen corresponding to M of the N bending regions are exposed and meet the coplanar condition, and the effective display region of the electronic device in the bent state is formed by splicing the portions of the flexible display screen corresponding to the M bending regions, so as to increase the area of the effective display region of the electronic device when the electronic device is in the bent state.

When the electronic equipment is in a non-bending state, the length of the electronic equipment in the first direction is larger than the length of the electronic equipment in the second direction.

a body;

if the electronic equipment is in the bending state, the effective display area of the electronic equipment in the bending state is formed by a part of the display area of the flexible display screen, which corresponds to the side face of the electronic equipment in the bending state.
2. The electronic device of claim 1, further comprising:
and the processor is arranged in the body and used for controlling the display content to be displayed on at least part of the effective display area if the electronic equipment in the bent state responds to the lighting instruction.

The electronic device according to claim 1, wherein when the electronic device is in a bent state, the flexible display screen is exposed, and an effective display area of the electronic device in the bent state is formed by a partial display area of the flexible display screen corresponding to a bent portion of the electronic device in the bent state.
4. The electronic device of claim 1, wherein the effective display area of the electronic device in the bent state is formed by splicing at least two display areas of the flexible display screen corresponding to the side of the electronic device in the bent state.

The electronic device according to claim 4, wherein when the electronic device is in a bent state, an effective display area of the electronic device in the bent state is formed by a partial display area of the flexible display corresponding to a bent portion of the electronic device in the bent state.
6. The electronic device according to claim 5, wherein when the electronic device is in a bent state, the electronic device has N bent regions, N being an integer greater than 2;
when the electronic equipment is in a bending state, the parts of the flexible display screen corresponding to M bending areas in the N bending areas are exposed outside and meet the coplanar condition, the effective display area of the electronic equipment in the bending state is formed by splicing the parts of the flexible display screen corresponding to the M bending areas, and M is a positive integer not greater than N.

The electronic device according to claim 4, wherein when the electronic device is in the bent state, an effective display area of the electronic device in the bent state is formed by a partial side display area of the flexible display corresponding to a non-bent portion of the electronic device in the bent state.
8. The electronic device of claim 7, wherein the electronic device has N bending regions when the electronic device is in a bent state;
when the electronic equipment is in a bent state, the effective display area of the electronic equipment in the bent state is formed by at least two side display areas of the flexible display screen corresponding to the non-bent part of the electronic equipment in the bent state;
the at least two parts of the side display areas meet the coplanar condition.

The electronic device according to claim 4, wherein when the electronic device is in the bent state, the effective display area of the electronic device in the bent state is formed by a partial side display area of the flexible display screen corresponding to a non-bent portion of the electronic device in the bent state and a partial display area of the flexible display screen corresponding to a bent portion of the electronic device in the bent state.
10. The electronic device according to claim 9, wherein when the electronic device is in a bent state, the electronic device has N bent regions, N being an integer greater than 1;
when the electronic equipment is in a bending state, the parts of the flexible display screen corresponding to M bending regions in the N bending regions are exposed outside and meet the coplanar condition, and the effective display region of the electronic equipment in the bending state is formed by splicing the parts of the flexible display screen corresponding to the M bending regions and at least part of side display regions of the flexible display screen corresponding to the non-bending parts of the electronic equipment in the bending state;
and the parts of the flexible display screen corresponding to the M bending areas and at least part of side display areas of the flexible display screen corresponding to the non-bending parts of the electronic equipment in the bending state meet the coplanar condition.
