Description

Movable apparatus adapted to unload the bobbin from the winding machine
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a be suitable for and lift the mobile device of cop latch off from winder.
Background
A movable apparatus for unloading the bobbin of the type described above is generally called "doffer" and is adapted to receive a winding bobbin from a textile machine (winder) producing the winding bobbin. In general, the doffer moves along aerial guides and rails located in the plane of the winder, and the doffer comprises a movable structure comprising: at least one spindle adapted to receive a bobbin from a winder; a take-up device adapted to receive such a winding bobbin from the winding machine on a spindle; and a cutting device adapted to cut the thread hanging down from each bobbin in the bobbin passage from the winder to the doffer. Such cutting devices generally comprise a temperature-controlled resistor mounted orthogonally to the axis of the spindle: the thread hanging down from the bobbin removed from the winder comes into contact with the resistor on the winder/doffer path and is cut.
However, the problem is that after being cut, the "broken string" breaks apart from a location close to the spindle and falls to the ground, with obvious disadvantages. For example, such cut thread is sucked inside the winding, thus "contaminating" the new bobbin being wound; in other cases, the thread falls on the doffer and may internally end up in the mechanical parts of the doffer (bearings, gears, etc.), causing maintenance problems and causing malfunctions and seizing. Such threads can also interfere with the operation of conventional safety sensors of the doffer, which control the correct movement of the doffer, often causing the doffer to stop unreasonably.
Solutions suitable for solving this problem are known. EP0534272a1 discloses a machine for automatically loading an empty bobbin or thread support tube in an automatic winding unit used in spinning mills and for unloading the bobbin from the unit, on which the thread has been wound, said thread being received from a rotating spindle. The machine comprises means for taking up and cutting the thread moving towards the bobbin around which the thread has been wound. Movable means are provided for supporting the at least one empty tube and adapted to receive the winding bobbin after removal of the at least one empty tube from the machine, and axially movable and rotation-transmitting means are adapted to cooperate with the winding bobbin to extract the winding bobbin from its respective spindle and to cooperate with the empty tube to assemble the empty tube on said spindle, stopping means being provided for stopping the movement of said spindle before unloading the winding bobbin.
The pick-up device and the cutting device comprise a head associated with an arm which rotates about a fixed support and comprises a wire cutting member and a suction opening for sucking the wire. The cutting member is movable within a seat of the head and is driven by actuator means, for example a pneumatic piston.
During use of the machine, after positioning the heads of the cutting device and of the take-up device in front of the spindle of the winding unit, from which the already wound bobbin is removed, and after stopping the spindle, thread suction is activated and the cutting member is moved inside the seat of the head, cutting the thread, which is sucked into the tube inserted in the movable arm and properly collected.
Therefore, this solution comprises a movable element and its respective actuator, which makes this solution a complex solution. Furthermore, this solution also requires frequent maintenance due to dust that may deposit on and along the path of the movable member, which may block the movement of the movable member.
US4340187A discloses an apparatus for changing the bobbin, which is suitable for use in connection with a textile yarn processing machine having a plurality of winding stations. The apparatus includes a wire drive carriage and a separate, removable carriage mounted on a common support member for independent movement. The thread drive carriage operates to cut and retrieve the thread during the bobbin changing operation.
Such a carriage comprises an arm which can move with respect to a suction device and which deflects the thread of the bobbin to be replaced, which thread is sucked by such a suction device, wherein the thread is cut by the cutting member.
This solution comprises movable members and is therefore complex to implement.
GB2152084 discloses an apparatus for unloading a yarn bobbin from a winding machine and loading a new bobbin support onto the winding machine. The device also comprises a cutting device mounted on a movable arm adapted to penetrate the machine and intercept and take up the thread in its movement towards the bobbin. This movement occurs due to the motor-driven telescopic element.
The cutting device is formed by a pair of blades moved by a cylinder.
This solution is a complex solution and has a non-negligible cost associated with the cutting device.
DE3336388 discloses a device for changing the bobbin of a thread in a textile machine and replacing it with a support tube around which the thread is wound. The device comprises a movable carriage comprising a thread suction device and a thread cutter mounted in series with each other on an arm of such a carriage. This solution is also complex and has a non-negligible cost.

figure 1 shows a top perspective view of a doffer implemented in accordance with the present invention;
FIG. 2 shows a detail of the doffer of FIG. 1 in the bobbin receiving area of the front portion thereof;
figure 3 shows an enlarged view of the component parts identified by the letter a in figure 2, in relation to the application of the suction system; and
fig. 4 shows a cross-section in connection with the arrangement of the suspension wires according to the line 3-3 in fig. 1.
Detailed Description
With reference to the above figures, a mobile device or doffer is generally indicated by the reference numeral 1. Such a doffer is suitable for taking up a winding bobbin 2 from a winding machine, said bobbin being received and arranged on at least one spindle 3 (two spindles are shown) of a movable apparatus by conventional and known means associated with the doffer.
The doffer comprises a structural member 4, which structural member 4 can be moved along an aerial guide 5 in any known manner, which will not be described further here. The doffer also has other known characteristics, for example in relation to the movement of the spindle 3, orthogonal to the base P on which the winder rests, and will not be described further here.
The doffer 1 comprises a cutting device or member 10 for cutting the thread 11 of the bobbin, which cutting device or member 10 is located at the free end 14 of the spindle 3. This cutting device 10 is a rod 13 receiving electric power, the wire 11 being in contact with the rod 13 in order to cut off the wire 11.
The cutting bar 13 is placed in correspondence with the suction member 15 of the resection line, said member 15 comprising a hollow tubular duct 16, the hollow tubular duct 16 being provided with at least one elongated surface groove 17 communicating with the internal space 19 of the tubular duct. In practice, the groove may be replaced by another surface opening of the conduit 16.
The inner space 19 is connected by a tube 20 to a suction device 21, which suction device 21 is suitably fixed to the structure 4 of the doffer. The grooves 17 may even be more than one, each comprising opposite ends 17A characterized by a circular cross section, so as to facilitate the suction of the thread. The T-shaped coupling member 23 connects the tube 20 to the tubular duct 16 and makes it possible to remove the cut wire, which is sucked into the duct via the slot 17.
Such a conduit 16 is also supported close to the spindle 3 in any known fixed manner. Such a conduit is connected, for example, to a cutting member 10, which cutting member 10 is in turn supported by a rigid arm 30 connected to the structural part 4 of the doffer 1.
Thanks to the present invention, a piece of suction air is generated in correspondence with the cutting zone of the thread of the bobbin 2, which suction air is able to catch every fragment of the thread cut by the cutting member 10. Therefore, such debris does not fall onto the doffer or winder, and such debris is sucked into the conventional container 33 of the suction device 21.
The solution described herein can be easily implemented on new doffers or already used doffers thanks to its simple construction and to the fact that it is formed by components that can be arranged outside the elements that characterize the operation of the doffer, such as the spindles of the doffer or the pusher devices associated with the spindles. Such a component can be easily fixed to the structural part of the doffer without interfering with said elements of the doffer during the movement of such a component.
Furthermore, the present invention makes it possible to prevent any malfunction or mechanical/electrical problems of the doffer caused by the cut thread, which in the known solutions could occur in reverse.
Finally, the solution described herein comprises components (cutting member 10 and suction member 15 operating on a cut-off line) that are stationary, fixed and integral with the structure of the doffer. The costs of implementation, assembly and maintenance of such components are therefore lower than those of the above-mentioned prior art solutions.
Preferred embodiments have been described herein. However, other embodiments are also possible: for example, the suction device 21 can be associated with a plurality of suction ports placed in another position with respect to the cutting device, for example separate from and arranged below the cutting device. Such other embodiments are also to be construed as falling within the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
