The cover assembly of claim 3, wherein a plurality of the flexible pads (231) are spaced apart from each other on the face cover (110), a plurality of the contact bosses (184) are spaced apart from each other on the open-cover handle (180), and a plurality of the flexible pads (231) and a plurality of the contact bosses (184) are disposed in one-to-one correspondence.

The cover assembly of claim 1, wherein the face cover (110) comprises a first cover (111) and a second cover (112), the first cover (111) being disposed over the second cover (112), the open cover handle (180) being disposed on the first cover (111), and the buffer (230) being disposed between the open cover handle (180) and the first cover (111).

The cover assembly of claim 6, wherein the face cover (110) further comprises a fastening member (1113), the first cover (111) is provided with a mounting hole (1114), the fastening member (1113) is inserted into the mounting hole (1114) and connects the first cover (111) and the second cover (112), and the buffer member (230) is disposed in the mounting hole (1114) and above the fastening member (1113).

The cover assembly of claim 7, wherein the mounting hole (1114) is a stepped hole comprising a first hole segment (11141) and a second hole segment (11142) below the first hole segment (11141), the second hole segment (11142) having a diameter smaller than a diameter of the first hole segment (11141), the dampener (230) being located within the first hole segment (11141), and the fastener (1113) being located within the second hole segment (11142).
9. The cover assembly of claim 7, wherein the bumper (230) has a receiving recess (232), and an end of the fastener (1113) proximate to the bumper (230) is located within the receiving recess (232).
10. A cooking appliance comprising a lid assembly, wherein the lid assembly is as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 9.
