The working principle is as follows: firstly, cutting off a first protective sleeve at the end heads of two cables to expose a cable conductor 1, then welding the two cable conductors 1 with a welding part 2, then wrapping a second protective sleeve in a welding area, then respectively sleeving two sealing rings 5 on the corresponding positions of the first protective sleeve and the second protective sleeve, then sleeving a tightening part 4 on the corresponding position, and then fixing the tightening part 4 through a locking device. Through arc 7 insert to arc 8 in the passageway, in the insertion process, as shown in fig. 4, first rack 9 oppresses second rack 11, makes second rack 11 oppress spring 12 through connecting plate 10 and move down, makes arc 7 move toward arc 8 in to make whole elasticity piece 4 shrink until elasticity piece 4 fixes on the cable. When the driving arc plate 7 moves towards the outside of the arc channel 8, the first rack 9 and the second rack 11 are locked with each other, so that the arc plate 7 cannot move towards the outside of the arc channel 8, the connecting plate 10 abuts against the fixed block 13, and the connecting plate 10 and the spring 12 can be prevented from being damaged due to excessive force. When the elastic piece 4 is fixed on the cable, the sealing strip 6 is tightly attached to the other port of the elastic piece 4, at the moment, a closed space is formed among the cable, the sealing ring 5, the elastic piece 4 and the sealing strip 6, and the welding area is located in the closed space, so that external impurities, liquid and the like can be prevented from entering the welding area and damaging the welding area. And the protection device can also strengthen the strength of the cable flexible joint, and prolong the service life of the cable flexible joint.
