Third, in the process that the docking body 212 of the insulating base 21 is inserted downward into the docking space 112 of the insulating base 11, the docking space 112 and the docking body 212 can be guided and contacted with each other through the first guiding inclined surface 1123 and the second guiding inclined surface 2123, so that the docking body 212 can smoothly enter the docking space 112 from the opening 1120 above the docking space 112, thereby improving the smoothness during assembly.
When the mating body 212 of the insulating base 21 is inserted downward into the mating space 112 of the insulating base 11, the protrusions 2121 at the left and right sides of the mating body 212 must be aligned with the recesses 1121 at the left and right sides of the mating space 112 to be combined with each other in an inserting manner, so as to have a foolproof effect, and further avoid the occurrence of damage caused by inserting the plurality of first terminals 12 of the receptacle connector 1 and the plurality of second terminals 22 of the plug connector 2 in wrong directions.
The first housing 13 of the receptacle connector 1 and the second housing 23 of the plug connector 2 can be made of metal materials, so that when the plurality of first terminals 12 and the plurality of second terminals 22 perform an electronic signal transmission operation, the first housing 13 and the second housing 23 made of metal materials can have a shielding function, thereby reducing noise and crosstalk.
Sixth, the second mating portion 123 of the first terminals 12 has two first clamping arms 1231, and the fourth mating portion 223 of the second terminals 22 has two second clamping arms 2231, so that when the first electrical connector 3 and the second electrical connector 4 are inserted into the socket connector 1 and the plug connector 2, the two first clamping arms 1231 and the two second clamping arms 2231 can form a bidirectional contact, so that the first electrical connector 3 and the second electrical connector 4 can be inserted into an electrical contact without distinguishing the front and the back, thereby improving the convenience of use.

Claims (16)

1. A relay connector, comprising a receptacle connector and a plug connector, wherein:
the socket connector is provided with an insulating base body, a plurality of first terminal grooves are formed in the insulating base body, the top surface of the insulating base body is provided with a butt joint space communicated with the plurality of first terminal grooves, a first splicing space communicated with the plurality of first terminal grooves and used for transversely inserting a preset first electric connecting piece is formed in the front of the insulating base body, a first splicing port used for allowing a first splicing part of the preset first electric connecting piece to penetrate through is formed in the front of the first splicing space, a plurality of first terminals are positioned in the insulating base body, each first terminal is provided with a first base positioned in the first terminal groove, a first butt joint part positioned in the butt joint space is arranged on one side of the first base, and a second butt joint part positioned in the first splicing space and electrically contacted with a first contact of the preset first splicing part is arranged on the other side of the first base;
the plug connector has an insulating base, and a plurality of second terminal slots are formed in the insulating base, the bottom surface of the insulating base is provided with a butt joint body for being longitudinally butted in the butt joint space, the rear part of the insulating base is provided with a second splicing space which is communicated with the plurality of second terminal grooves and is used for transversely inserting a preset second electric connecting piece, a second inserting port for a second inserting part of a preset second electric connecting piece to pass through is formed behind the second inserting space, a plurality of second terminals are positioned in the insulating base, the plurality of second terminals are provided with second base parts positioned in the second terminal grooves, a third butt joint part which extends to the butt joint body and is butt jointed with the first butt joint part is arranged on one side of the second base part, and the other side of the second base part is provided with a fourth butt joint part which is positioned in the second plugging space and forms electric contact with the second contact of the preset second plugging part.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the first terminal groove top surface is concavely provided with a first positioning groove for positioning the first base part of the first terminal, and the bottom surface of each first terminal groove is provided with a first opening hole penetrating to the outside.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the left side and the right side of the butt joint space of the insulation base body are respectively provided with a groove in a forward cutting mode, and the left side and the right side of the butt joint body of the insulation base body are respectively provided with a lug which is used for being aligned and combined in the groove in a forward cutting mode.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: a first guide inclined plane is formed at the periphery of an opening above the butt joint space of the insulation base, and a second guide inclined plane which is in guide contact with the first guide inclined plane is formed at the periphery of the bottom surface of the butt joint body of the insulation base.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the second butt joint part of the first terminal is provided with two first clamping arms clamped on the surfaces of two sides of the preset first electric connecting piece, a first clamping space for the preset first electric connecting piece to be placed is formed between the two first clamping arms, and first contact points which are in electric contact with the first contact points of the preset first inserting part are respectively formed at the positions, adjacent to the two sides of the first clamping space, of the two first clamping arms.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the bottom of the insulation seat body is provided with a first shell, a first accommodating space for the insulation seat body to be placed in is formed inside the first shell, and the left side and the right side of the bottom surface of the first shell are respectively provided with a first elastic arm for elastically buckling and holding the first elastic arm at the side edge of two first convex plates of a preset first electric connector.

The relay connector according to claim 7, wherein: the tail end of the first elastic arm is reversely folded and extended with a first buckling body for elastically buckling and holding the first buckling body at the side edges of two first convex plates of a preset first electric connecting piece.
9. The relay connector according to claim 7, wherein: the left and right sides of the first inserting port of the first inserting space are respectively provided with a first notch inwards for the first elastic arm to extend into.
10. The relay connector according to claim 7, wherein: the bottom of the insulating base is provided with a plurality of positioning blocks, and the bottom of the first housing is provided with a plurality of positioning holes for the plurality of positioning blocks to be buckled and positioned.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the bottom surface of the second terminal groove is concavely provided with a second positioning groove for positioning the second base of the second terminal, and the top surface of each second terminal groove is provided with a second opening hole penetrating to the outside.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the fourth butt joint part is provided with two second clamping arms clamped on the surfaces of the two sides of the preset second electric connecting piece, a second clamping space for the preset second electric connecting piece to be placed in is formed between the two second clamping arms, and second contact points which are in electric contact with the second contact points of the preset second inserting part are respectively formed at the positions, adjacent to the two sides of the second clamping space, of the two second clamping arms.

The relay connector according to claim 1, wherein: the second shell is arranged at the top of the insulating base, a second accommodating space for the insulating base to be placed in is formed inside the second shell, and second elastic arms for elastically buckling and holding the second elastic arms at the side edges of two second convex plates of a preset second electric connecting piece are arranged on the left side and the right side of the top surface of the second shell respectively.

The relay connector according to claim 13, wherein: the tail end of the second elastic arm is reversely folded and extended with a second buckling body for elastically buckling and holding the second buckling body at the side edge of a second convex plate of a preset second electric connecting piece.
15. The relay connector according to claim 13, wherein: the left side and the right side of the second socket are respectively provided with a second notch for the second elastic arm to extend into.
