Detailed Description
In the following description, numerous implementation details are set forth in order to provide a more thorough understanding of the present invention. However, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that these implementation details are not necessary in some embodiments of the invention and should not be used to limit the invention. In addition, for the sake of simplicity, some conventional structures and elements are shown in the drawings in a simple schematic manner. In addition, the dimensions of the various elements in the drawings are not necessarily to scale, for the convenience of the reader.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a server 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is an exploded view of the cable retention device 300 of fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a front view of the cable holding device 300 of fig. 1. As shown in fig. 1 to 3, the server 10 includes a host 100, a wire unit 200 and a cable holding device 300. The host 100 has a housing 110, a connection port 120, a fixing base 130 and at least one engaging portion 140. The connection port 120 is exposed outside the housing 110 and electrically connected to a circuit element (not shown) in the housing 110 for exchanging signals with the circuit element. The fixing base 130 is fixed to the outer side surface of the housing 110, for example, at the upper edge of the connection port 120. The engaging portion 140 is located on the fixing base 130. The wire unit 200 includes a wire 210 and a connector 220. The connector 220 is connected to an end of the cable 210 for pluggable connection to the port 120. The cable holding device 300 includes a bracket 310 and a hub 400. The bracket 310 includes a cover 320, at least one engaging portion 330, a supporting portion 360 and a coupling portion 370. The cap 320 has a recess 321 (fig. 3). The groove 321 is formed at one side of the cap 320. The snap 330 is located in the recess 321. The bearing part 360 is connected to one end of the cover 320 and holds the connection head 220 of the wire unit 200. The coupling portion 370 is connected to the other end of the cover 320 and to the wire concentrating element 400. The wire collecting member 400 is used to collect and arrange the cables 210 of the wire units 200.
Thus, when a user inserts the connector 220 of the wire unit 200 into the connection port 120 of the host 100, the cover 320 covers the fixing seat 130, so that the groove 321 of the cover 320 completely receives the fixing seat 130 therein, and at this time, the bracket 310 of the cable holding device 300 and the connector 220 of the wire unit 200 can be fixed on the host 100 because the clamping portion 330 is fixedly connected to the clamping portion 140 without a tool. Conversely, when the user releases the fastening of the fastening portion 330 to the fastening portion 140, the user can detach the connecting head 220 of the wire unit 200 from the connecting port 120 of the host 100.
More specifically, in the present embodiment, the fixing base 130 includes a base 131 and an attachment block 132. The base 131 is locked on the outer side of the housing 110, and the attachment block 132 is locked on the base 131, so that the base 131 is directly clamped between the attachment block 132 and the housing 110.
In addition, the number of the engaging portions 140 and the number of the engaging portions 330 are two. The two engaging portions 140 are located on two opposite sides of the base 131, and each engaging portion 140 extends outward from the base 131, so that the attachment block 132 is located between the engaging portions 140. The clamping portions 330 are oppositely disposed in the grooves 321 and on two opposite sides of the cover 320, for respectively securing the clamping portions 140 without using a tool. For example, each engaging portion 140 has a protrusion 141 and a limiting groove 142. The stopper groove 142 is formed at one end of the lug 141.
In the present embodiment, for example, the number of the through holes 323 is two, and the through holes are respectively formed on two opposite sides of the cover 320 and respectively connected to the grooves 321. Each of the locking portions 330 includes a restoring member 340 and a protruding hook 350 (as shown in fig. 4A), the protruding hook 350 is telescopically disposed in the through hole 323 for fixing the corresponding locking portion 140, and the restoring member 340 elastically abuts against the protruding hook 350 for pushing the protruding hook 350 back to the original position.
More specifically, the protruding hook 350 includes a key base 351, a key portion 354, a clamping block portion 355 and a connecting portion 356. The key base 351 is located on the surface of the cover 320, and the key base 351 has a key slot 352 and a through hole 353. The key slot 352 is connected to the recess 321 through the through hole 353 and the through hole 323. The key portion 354 is exposed to the surface of the cover 320 and is movably located in the key slot 352. The clamping block 355 is disposed in the recess 321, and the connecting portion 356 is disposed in the through hole 323 and connects the button portion 354 and the clamping block 355. The cross-sectional area of the connecting portion 356 is smaller than the cross-sectional area of the clamping block portion 355. The connecting portion 356 connects the key portion 354 and the block portion 355, for example, integrally formed. The restoring member 340, such as a spring, is disposed in the key slot 352, sleeved on the connecting portion 356, and abutted against the bottom of the key portion 354 and the key slot 352, respectively. Therefore, when the protrusion 350 presses the groove 321, the restoring member 340 is compressed to generate a restoring elastic force. On the contrary, when the hook 350 is no longer pressed, the restoring elasticity of the restoring member 340 pushes the hook 350 back to the original position.
In this embodiment, the cover 320 further has a stopping portion 380, and the stopping portion 380 is located on a side of the cover 320 opposite to the bearing portion 360. Therefore, when the user covers the cover 320 on the fixing base 130, so that the fixing base 130 completely extends into the groove 321, the stopping portion 380 abuts against the outer side surface of the host 100, thereby preventing the user from excessively inserting the connector 220 of the wire unit 200 on the connection port 120 of the host 100, and protecting the connector 220 of the wire unit 200 and the connection port 120 of the host 100.
In addition, the cable holding device 300 further includes a limit bolt 500. The limit bolt 500 is located at one side of the cover 320 opposite to the bearing part 360 in a liftable manner. Therefore, when the user covers the cover 320 on the fixing base 130 to make the fixing base 130 completely extend into the groove 321, the cover 320 can be limited on the fixing base 130 by the limiting bolt 500 extending into the groove 321 and locked into the screw hole 134 of the top surface 133 of the fixing base 130, and further fixed on the host 100.
Furthermore, the wire-collecting member 400 includes a plurality of chain units 410. The chain units 410 are connected in series via a pivot shaft P. The leading one of the chain units 410 is pivotally connected to the coupling portion 370. Each chain cell 410 has a central channel 420, and the central channels 420 of the chain cells 410 are in sequential communication with each other to collectively receive the cable 210. As such, the chain cells 410 of the wire concentrator 400 can be arbitrarily bent to match the flexibility of the cable 210.
Fig. 4A and 4B are schematic operation diagrams of the engaging portion 140 and the engaging portion 330 in fig. 2. As shown in fig. 1 and 4A, when the user covers the cover 320 on the fixing base 130, so that the connecting portion 356 of the protruding hook 350 slides into the limiting groove 142, the clip portion 355 clamps the protruding lug 141 on the cover 320 through the restoring elastic force of the restoring member 340, so that the cover 320 is fixed on the host 100, and the connecting head 220 is located on the connecting port 120 more stably.
On the contrary, as shown in fig. 4A and 4B, when the key portion 354 is pressed to drive the clamping block portion 355 to move away from the protrusion 141, since the protrusion 350 can disengage from the engaging portion 140 along the limiting groove 142, the user can disengage the bracket 310 from the host 100, thereby achieving the purpose of disengaging the connector 220 of the wire unit 200 from the connection port 120 of the host 100.
So, when server and wire rod unit need separate each other, see through above the framework, the wire rod unit not only can conveniently and break away from the server fast, outside reducing equipment time and cost, more can still greatly reduced screw fall into the risk in the server.
Finally, the above-described embodiments are not intended to limit the present invention, and those skilled in the art can make various changes and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention should be determined by the scope of the appended claims.
