7. A self-closing tap as claimed in claim 1 wherein the outlet nozzle is provided with a second sealing ring around the outlet for sealing the outlet.
8. A self-closing tap as claimed in claim 1 wherein the stem is provided with a lengthwise extending projection on the outer periphery of the free end of the stem.
9. A self-closing tap as claimed in claim 1 wherein the spigot has a boss on the inside of the end thereof for abutment with the free end of the stem.
