Description

Wiper and package assembly
Technical Field
The present application relates to a wiper. The present application relates in particular to a wiper for cosmetic products, in particular liquid or pasty cosmetic products.
Background
For common liquid cosmetic packages, it is common to include a container for holding the cosmetic product and an applicator in which the brush head is submerged in the cosmetic product. When the user applies the cosmetic product, the applicator is removed from the container and the cosmetic product carried on the brush head is applied to the skin. Some cosmetic packages are also provided with a wiper in order to wipe excess cosmetic from the brush head prior to application. The applicator is inserted through the wiper into the container. The wiper is capable of scraping off excess cosmetic from the brush head when the applicator carrying the cosmetic is removed from the container. However, in the case where the brush head of the applicator is large in diameter or cosmetics are accumulated on the inner wall of the wiper so that the inner diameter of the wiper becomes small, a large force of the wiper against the applicator during the removal of the applicator from the container may cause the stem portion of the applicator to break or the wiper to be pulled out together from the container.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
In order to solve the above technical problem, an embodiment of the present application provides a wiper.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the application is realized as follows:
embodiments of the present application provide a wiper for wiping an applicator inserted into a container through the wiper. The wiper includes: a hollow cylindrical body including a first end and a second end opposite the first end; an attachment member provided on the cylindrical body for attaching the wiper to the container; and a frustoconical wiping member provided at the first end of the cylindrical body for wiping the applicator as the applicator passes through the wiping member. The wiper member is made of an elastic material and is provided with a plurality of diametrically opposed elasticity enhancing holes.
In one embodiment, two sets of elasticity enhancing holes are provided on the wiper member, the two sets of elasticity enhancing holes being symmetrical to each other.
In one embodiment, the resiliency enhancing aperture is rectangular in shape, with the long side of the rectangle being parallel to the longitudinal axis of the wiper.
In one embodiment, the inner wall of the wiper member is angled at 20 to 25 degrees from the longitudinal axis of the wiper.

In one embodiment, the attachment member includes a circumferential rib projecting radially from the cylindrical body, the circumferential rib including a flat portion and a ramp portion. The ramp portion is angled relative to a longitudinal axis of the wiper. The flat portion abuts on an inner wall of the shoulder portion of the container.
In one embodiment, the attachment member further comprises a flange provided at the second end of the cylindrical body, the flange pressing against a mating protrusion on an inner wall of the neck of the container.
In one embodiment, the inner bore of the cylindrical body comprises a first narrowed section, a first straight section, a second narrowed section and a second straight section in sequence along the direction from the second end to the first end. The first narrowed section tapers toward the first straight section and the second narrowed section tapers toward the second straight section.
In one embodiment, the cylindrical body is provided with a sealing protrusion thereon, which is in close contact with an inner wall of the neck of the container to form a seal therebetween.
In one embodiment, the cylindrical body, the attachment member and the wiper member are formed in one piece by injection molding.
This application embodiment has still provided a package assembly, and it includes: a container for holding contents, the container comprising a body, a neck and a shoulder; a wiper as described above attached to the neck of the container; and an applicator including a rod member and an application member made of an elastic material. The applicator is inserted into the container through the wiper, the wiper configured to wipe the application member as the application member moves through the wiper.
In one embodiment, the contents are cosmetic.
In the wiper according to the present application, the wiper member is provided with a plurality of diametrically opposed elasticity enhancing holes. Detailed Description
Technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some embodiments of the present application, but not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
In the description of the present application, it is to be understood that the terms "first", "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implying any number of technical features indicated.
In the description of the present application, it is to be noted that, unless otherwise explicitly specified or limited, the terms "mounted," "connected," and "attached" are to be construed broadly, e.g., as meaning either a fixed connection, a removable connection, or an integral connection; either directly or indirectly through intervening components, either internally or in any other relationship. The specific meaning of the above terms in the present application can be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art as appropriate.
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a wiper 100 according to an embodiment of the present application. The wiper 100 is attached in a container containing contents. An applicator for applying the contents is inserted through a wiper into the container. The wiper is for wiping a content-laden applicator passing through the wiper. The content may be a cosmetic, and in particular a liquid cosmetic such as a lip gloss. It will be appreciated that the wiper may be used to wipe other suitable objects.
As shown in fig. 1, the wiper 100 includes:
a hollow cylindrical body 110 comprising a first end 111 and a second end 112 opposite the first end;
an attachment member 120 provided on the cylindrical body for attaching the wiper 100 to the container; and
a frustoconical wiper member 130 provided at the first end 111 of the cylindrical body 110 for wiping the applicator as it passes through the wiper member 130, the wiper member 130 being made of an elastomeric material and provided with a plurality of diametrically opposed elasticity-enhancing holes 131. Preferably, the elastic material is a thermoplastic elastomer.
Since the wiper member 130 is made of an elastic material, when the applicator is taken out of the container through the wiper, the wiper member 130 is elastically deformed while wiping the applicator, so that excessive force is not applied to the applicator. The elasticity enhancing hole 131 provided in the wall of the wiper member 130 can further increase the elasticity and deformability of the wiper member 130, thereby ensuring that the force applied to the applicator when wiping the applicator does not cause damage to the weak portion (e.g., the rod portion) of the applicator, and also ensuring that the wiper 100 is not pulled out of the container together with the removal of the applicator.
Preferably, two sets of elasticity enhancing holes 131 are provided on the wiper member 130, and the two sets of elasticity enhancing holes 131 are symmetrical to each other. In the example shown in fig. 2, the wiper member 130 is provided with two sets of symmetrically arranged elasticity enhancing holes 131, each set including 4 elasticity enhancing holes 131. It should be understood that other suitable numbers of resiliency enhancing apertures are possible.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 1, the elasticity enhancing hole 131 has a rectangular shape, the long side of which is parallel to the longitudinal axis X of the wiper 100. The use of the elasticity enhancing holes 131 having the rectangular shape makes it possible to increase the elasticity of the wiper member 130 while ensuring that as much material as possible remains between the two elasticity enhancing holes 131, so that both the elasticity of the wiper member 130 is increased and the structural stability is maintained. It will be appreciated that other suitable shapes (e.g. circular) of the resilience-enhancing aperture are also possible.
The inner wall 132 of the wiper member 130 is at an angle α of 20 to 25 degrees from the longitudinal axis X of the wiper 100, preferably the angle α is 23 degrees.
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the attachment member 120 includes a circumferential rib 122 projecting radially from the cylindrical body 110. the circumferential rib 122 includes a flat portion 124 and a ramped portion 125. the ramped portion 125 is at an angle β (preferably equal to 45 degrees) to the longitudinal axis X of the wiper 100 to facilitate entry of the wiper 100 into a container. the flat portion 124 abuts against the inner wall of the shoulder of the container to prevent the wiper 100 from being removed from the container.
The attachment member 120 further comprises a flange 123 provided at the second end 112 of the cylindrical body 110, said flange 123 pressing against a mating protrusion on the inner wall of the neck of the container. The flange 123 prevents the wiper 100 from falling into the container. In the illustrated embodiment, the wiper is attached to the container by a circumferential rib 122 and a flange 123, but it will be appreciated that the wiper may be attached to the container by other means of attachment.
The inner bore 113 of the cylindrical body 110 includes a first narrowed section 115, a first straight section 116, a second narrowed section 117 and a second straight section 118 in sequence along a direction from the second end to the first end. The first narrowed section 115 tapers towards the first straight section 116 and the second narrowed section 117 tapers towards the second straight section 118.
As shown in fig. 5, the cylindrical body 110 is provided with a sealing protrusion 114. The sealing protrusion 114 is in close contact with the inner wall of the neck of the container to form a seal between the sealing protrusion 114 and the inner wall of the neck. Due to the sealing protrusion 114, the contents contained in the container do not leak out from the area between the wiper and the inner wall of the container.
Preferably, the cylindrical body 110, the attachment member 120 and the wiper member 130 are formed in one piece by injection molding.
In another aspect, the present application also proposes a packaging assembly comprising:
-a container for containing contents, the container comprising a body, a neck and a shoulder;
-a wiper as described above attached to the neck of the container; and
-an applicator comprising a rod member and an application member made of an elastic material.
The applicator is inserted into the container through the wiper such that the application member is immersed in the contents. The wiper is configured to wipe the coating member as the coating member moves through the wiper. Specifically, when it is desired to apply the contents, the user grasps the lever member to remove the applicator from the container, and the wiper wipes the application member loaded with the contents as it is moved out of the container through the wiper. The resiliency enhancing holes in the wiper member promote resilient deformation of the wiper member during wiping, ensuring smooth removal of the applicator.
Preferably, the content is a cosmetic. It should be understood that other articles, such as other liquid, paste, or powder coating applications, are also possible.
In the description herein, similar descriptions of the terms "one embodiment," "another embodiment," or "for example," etc. are intended to mean that a particular feature, structure, material, or characteristic described in connection with the embodiment or example is included in at least one embodiment or example of the application. In this specification, schematic representations of the above terms do not necessarily refer to the same embodiment or example. Furthermore, the particular features, structures, materials, or characteristics described may be combined in any suitable manner in any one or more embodiments or examples.
Although embodiments of the present application have been shown and described above, it is understood that the above embodiments are exemplary and should not be construed as limiting the present application, and that variations, modifications, substitutions and alterations of the above embodiments may be made by those of ordinary skill in the art within the scope of the present application, which is defined by the claims and their equivalents.
