Detailed Description
[ embodiment 1 ]
Fig. 1 is a side view showing an air conditioner having the communication device of embodiment 1.
The air conditioner 10 shown in fig. 1 is a separate type air conditioner including an indoor unit 11 disposed indoors as an air conditioning target and an outdoor unit disposed outdoors. Fig. 1 shows only an indoor unit 11 of an air conditioner 10.
The indoor unit 11 is mounted on an indoor ceiling 50 via a suspension 51. The indoor unit 11 includes a heat exchanger that exchanges heat with indoor air, an indoor fan that takes indoor air into the casing 11a, supplies the air to the heat exchanger, and blows the air into the room again, and the like, inside the casing 11 a.
The indoor unit 11 of the present embodiment is provided with a communication device 20 for connecting the indoor unit 11 to a communication network. Specifically, the communication device 20 includes a wireless LAN adapter 21 that functions as a network communication unit of the indoor unit 11. The indoor unit 11 is connected to a wireless LAN constructed indoors by a wireless LAN adapter 21. The wireless LAN adapter 21 is connected to a control board of the indoor unit 11 via a communication line (not shown) and is attached to a casing 11a (an upper surface of the casing 11a in the illustrated example) of the indoor unit 11. The wireless LAN adapter 21 is one embodiment of the wireless communication adapter of the present invention.
Fig. 2 is a side view showing the communication device mounted to the air conditioner. Fig. 3 and 4 are perspective views showing the communication apparatus.
The wireless LAN adapter 21 includes a housing 22 formed in a substantially rectangular parallelepiped shape and a communication module (not shown) incorporated in the housing 22. The casing 22 includes a front plate 22a and a rear plate 22b each formed of a rectangular plate material, and side plates 22c and 22d provided on outer peripheral portions of the front plate 22a and the rear plate 22 b.
An operation button 22a1 for performing setting operation of the wireless LAN adaptor 21 and the like, a lamp 22a2 indicating an on/off state of the wireless LAN adaptor 21 and a connection state to the wireless LAN, and the like are provided on the surface plate 22a of the housing 22. A coupling groove 22c1 is formed in a pair of side plates 22c of the housing 22 facing each other, and the coupling groove 22c1 is coupled to a retainer 24 described below. The connecting groove 22c1 is open at one end in the longitudinal direction of the side panel 22c and closed at the middle.
The communication device 20 includes a holder 24 in addition to the wireless LAN adapter 21. The holder 24 detachably mounts the wireless LAN adapter 21, and holds the wireless LAN adapter 21. The holder 24 has a base plate 25 and support plates 26a, 26 b. The base plate 25 is made of a rectangular plate material having substantially the same size as the back plate 22b of the housing 22, and is disposed on the back side of the back plate 22 b. The support plates 26a and 26b protrude from 3 sides of the base plate 25 toward the front surface side of the housing 22, and are disposed outside the side plates 22c and 22d of the housing 22.
A pair of support plates 26a facing each other among the 3 support plates 26a, 26b is provided with a claw portion 26a1 inserted into the coupling groove 22c1 of the housing 22. The housing 22 is held by the holder 24 by inserting the claw portions 26a1 of the holder 24 from the open end of the coupling groove 22c 1. Conversely, the housing 22 can be removed from the holder 24 by pulling out the claw portions 26a1 of the holder 24 from the open ends of the coupling grooves 22c 1.
The communication device 20 includes a cradle 28 in addition to the wireless LAN adapter 21 and the holder 24. The chassis 28 is interposed between the casing 11a of the indoor unit 11 and the wireless LAN adapter 21, and forms a space between the casing 11a and the wireless LAN adapter 21. In the present embodiment, the wireless LAN adapter 21 is held by the holder 24, and therefore, the chassis 28 substantially forms the gap t between the housing 11a and the holder 24.
The base 28 of the present embodiment is formed of an elastically deformable member made of rubber or resin. The base 28 is preferably formed of a foam material made of rubber or resin, and more preferably a foam material having independent air bubbles. For example, the base 28 can be formed from a resiliently deformable foam material such as foamed polyethylene or polyurethane foam.
As shown in fig. 2 and 4, the base 28 is formed of a rectangular plate material and attached to the back surface of the base plate 25 of the holder 24. The base 28 has a thickness of about 5mm, for example. The base 28 of the present embodiment is attached to the back surface of the base plate 25 of the holder 24 by, for example, a double-sided tape 29.
The base 28 has an area of the base plate 25 of the holder 24, more specifically, an area occupying most of the area of the base plate 25. Therefore, the pedestal 28 of the base plate 25 attached to the holder 24 is disposed in a region occupying most of the area of the base plate 25 of the holder 24. The base plate 25 is formed to have substantially the same size as the back plate 22b of the wireless LAN adapter 21 and overlaps the back plate 22b, and therefore the chassis 28 is also disposed in a region occupying most of the back plate 22 b. The chassis 28 is fixed to the casing 11a of the indoor unit 11 by an adhesive member, specifically, a double-sided tape or an adhesive.
Since a vibration generation source such as an indoor fan is built in the casing 11a of the indoor unit 11, the casing 11a vibrates due to the operation of the indoor fan, and this vibration may be transmitted to the holder 24 and the wireless LAN adapter 21. In the present embodiment, the wireless LAN adapter 21 and the holder 24 are attached to the housing 11a via the base 28, and since the base 28 forms a gap between the housing 11a and the wireless LAN adapter 21 and the holder 24, the vibration of the housing 11a is not easily transmitted to the wireless LAN adapter 21 and the holder 24. Therefore, the transmission of the vibration to the wireless LAN adapter 21 and the holder 24 and the generation of noise and the like can be suppressed.
Further, when the wireless LAN adapter 21 approaches the housing 11a, the radio wave emitted from the wireless LAN adapter 21 toward the housing 11a may be blocked by the housing 11a, but in the present embodiment, since the housing 11a and the wireless LAN adapter 21 are spaced apart by the chassis 28, a path for the radio wave emitted from the wireless LAN adapter 21 toward the housing 11a is secured, and communication performance can be improved.
Further, since the chassis 28 of the present embodiment is formed of an elastically deformable member made of rubber or resin, the vibration of the housing 11a is absorbed by the chassis 28 and is less likely to be transmitted to the wireless LAN adapter 21 and the holder 24.
Further, the chassis 28 is formed of a foam material, and therefore, has heat insulation properties, and also suppresses heat transfer from the housing 11a toward the wireless LAN adapter 21. Therefore, the wireless LAN adapter 21 is not easily cooled by the heat transmitted from the housing 11a, and the occurrence of dew condensation and the like in the wireless LAN adapter 21 can be suppressed.
Further, since the chassis 28 is disposed in a region having an area of at least half of the area of the base plate 25 of the holder 24 and the back plate 22b of the wireless LAN adapter 21, transmission of vibration from the housing 11a to the wireless LAN adapter 21 can be suppressed over a wide region.
As described above, the thickness of the pedestal 28 of the present embodiment is about 5mm, but more preferably 5mm or more. By forming the thickness of the base 28 to be 5mm or more, the above-described effects of suppressing vibration transmission from the housing 11a, suppressing heat transmission, and improving communication performance can be sufficiently exhibited.
Since the communication device 20 includes the holder 24, the holder 24 detachably holds the wireless LAN adapter 21, and the chassis 28 is disposed between the holder 24 and the housing 11a, a space can be provided between the housing 11a and the wireless LAN adapter 21 via the chassis 28 in a state where the wireless LAN adapter 21 is attached to the holder 24. Further, since the wireless LAN adapter 21 can be detached from the holder 24 as needed, the operation of the button 22a1 of the wireless LAN adapter 21, the confirmation of the lamp 22a2, the confirmation of the ID information, the password information, and the like described in the housing 22, and the like can be easily performed.
[ 2 nd embodiment ]
Fig. 5 is a side view showing the communication apparatus of embodiment 2.
The communication device 20 of the present embodiment differs from that of embodiment 1 in the form of a cradle 28. Specifically, the bases 28 are provided at a plurality of positions of the base plate 25 of the holder 24 in a dispersed manner.
Fig. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing the arrangement of the pedestals 28, and in the example shown in fig. 6 (a), the pedestals 28 are provided at 4 corners of the base plate 25 of the holder 24 in a dispersed manner, and in the example shown in fig. 6 (b), the pedestals 28 are provided at 2 locations along 2 opposing sides of the base plate 25 of the holder 24 in a dispersed manner.
In either case, a space is formed between the housing 11a and the holder 24 and the wireless LAN adapter 21, and vibration transmission from the housing 11a is suppressed.
Further, as in embodiment 1, the base 28 of the present embodiment may be formed of an elastically deformable member made of rubber or resin, but may be formed of a hard material such as metal or hard resin.
[ embodiment 3 ]
Fig. 7 is a side view showing the communication apparatus of embodiment 3.
In the present embodiment, a part 28a of the base 28 is formed of an elastically deformable member made of rubber or resin, and the other part 28b of the base 28 is formed of a hard member such as metal. Specifically, the portion 28a in contact with the housing 11a is formed of an elastically deformable member made of rubber or resin, and the other portion 28b in contact with the retainer 24 is formed of a hard member such as metal. That is, the chassis 28 is formed in a multilayer structure of a soft layer such as rubber and a hard layer such as metal. In the present embodiment, since the vibration of the housing 11a can be absorbed by the part 28a of the chassis 28, the transmission of the vibration to the holder 24 and the wireless LAN adapter 21 can be suppressed, and the generation of noise and the like can be suppressed.
In the present embodiment, on the contrary to the above, a portion 28a in contact with the housing 11a may be formed of a hard member, and the other portion 28b in contact with the retainer 24 may be formed of an elastically deformable member. Further, the portions in contact with the housing 11a and the holder 24 may be formed of elastically deformable members, and the portions between them may be formed of hard members, or vice versa.
[ other modifications ]
The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and various modifications can be made within the scope of the utility model registration request.
For example, in the above-described embodiment, the wireless communication adapter 21 exemplified by a wireless LAN adapter is not limited to the indoor unit 11 of the ceiling-mounted type, and may be attached to the indoor unit 11 of a wall-mounted type, a vertical type, a ceiling-embedded type, or the like.
The wireless communication adapter 21 is not limited to being connected to a wireless LAN, and may be connected to an external communication network via a 3G line, an LTE line, or the like.
The wireless communication adapter 21 may be attached to a casing of an outdoor unit of the air conditioner 10. Since a vibration generating source such as an outdoor fan is also built in the casing of the outdoor unit, it is effective to use the pedestal 28 of the present invention. The wireless communication adapter 21 may be attached to a casing of the air conditioner 10 in which the outdoor unit and the indoor unit are integrated.
The base 28 may be formed by applying an adhesive to both surfaces thereof in advance and fixing the base to the holder 24 and the case 11a by the adhesive.
