Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a refrigerator, and particularly, to a refrigerator capable of adjusting height by rotating an adjusting leg.
Background
Conventionally, in order to maintain the installation stability of a refrigerator, it is necessary to adjust the balance of the refrigerator, and for this reason, an adjustment leg whose height is changed by rotation is generally provided at an edge on the front side of the bottom surface of the refrigerator. The height of the refrigerator is adjusted by rotating the adjusting feet, so that the height of the refrigerator is adjusted, and the balance of the refrigerator is further adjusted. In addition, in the refrigerator having the side-by-side doors, the parallelism between the two doors provided in the side-by-side manner can be adjusted by adjusting the heights of the adjustment legs provided on the left and right sides, so that the side-by-side doors can be smoothly opened and closed.
However, in recent years, as the size of the refrigerator is increased, the weight of the refrigerator is increased to one hundred kilograms or more, and if various articles stored in the refrigerator are added, the total weight of the refrigerator is further increased. In such a case, the frictional resistance between the adjustment leg and the floor surface becomes very large, and when the adjustment leg is rotated to adjust the balance of the refrigerator and the parallelism of the refrigerator door, it is difficult for the user to rotate the adjustment leg to perform the adjustment.
In order to make the adjustment easy, various techniques have been proposed. For example, patent document 1 discloses a technique in which 5 columnar bodies are provided on the upper surface of an adjustment leg so as to be positioned at the vertices of a pentagon, and when adjusting the adjustment leg, the adjustment leg is rotated by a lever principle with the tip of a rod-like tool such as a screwdriver being inserted into the bottom of one columnar body and the adjacent columnar body being a fulcrum (see fig. 6 to 8 of patent document 1). In addition, patent document 2 discloses a technique in which a plurality of projections are provided along a circumferential edge on an upper surface of an adjustment leg, and when adjusting the adjustment leg, a rod-like tool such as a screwdriver is appropriately inserted between the plurality of projections, and the adjustment leg is rotated by a lever principle (see fig. 5 and the like of patent document 2).
However, in patent document 1, when the total weight of the refrigerator is large, the engagement between the tool and the columnar body is not firm, and the tool may slip out from the bottom of the columnar body. In patent document 2, when the total weight of the refrigerator is large, the engagement between the tool and the protrusion is not firm, and the tool may slip out from above the protrusion, and the tool may be set to be parallel to the floor, which makes it inconvenient for the user to apply force.
In addition, in order to effectively and smoothly rotate the adjustment leg for adjustment, as another technical means, there is a technical means in which the adjustment leg is redesigned and a tool such as a special power saving wrench is provided, but in such a case, a special tool is required to increase the cost of the refrigerator, and the user needs to keep the special tool for a long time, which causes inconvenience to the user.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, a refrigerator having an adjustment wheel according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description, the same or similar portions are given the same reference numerals, and the details that have been already described are omitted.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing a refrigerator according to the present invention, and fig. 2 is a side view showing a lower portion of the refrigerator according to the present invention. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a refrigerator main body (hereinafter, referred to as a refrigerator) 1 is divided into a plurality of storage compartments, and two refrigerating compartment doors 2 and 2 of a split type are provided for the storage compartment as a refrigerating compartment at the uppermost portion. Further, other storage rooms such as a freezing room, an ice making room, and a vegetable room are provided below the refrigerating room, and a door that is opened in a lateral direction, a drawer-type door, or the like is provided for the storage rooms.
At the edge of the bottom surface portion of the refrigerator main body 1, and at the right and left corner portions of the side where the various doors are provided (hereinafter referred to as the front side), there are provided refrigerator support mechanisms 3 having casters 4 and adjustment legs 5, respectively. Further, a shield cover or the like (not shown) may be provided in front of the refrigerator supporting mechanism 3 for aesthetic purposes.
The length of the adjustment leg 5 can be changed by rotation, and the height of the refrigerator 1 can be adjusted via the refrigerator support mechanism 3. Further, by adjusting the heights of the two adjustment legs 5, the balance of the refrigerator 1 can be adjusted so that the refrigerator 1 can be stably installed. Further, when various forces are applied during transportation or the like, the two refrigerating compartment doors 2 and 2 of the split type may be displaced vertically and become non-parallel, which may affect smooth opening and closing of the refrigerating compartment doors 2 and 2. Further, when the refrigerating chamber doors 2 and 2 are not closed tightly, cooling of the refrigerating chamber may be affected, and electric power may be wasted. For this reason, the parallelism of the two refrigerating chamber doors 2, 2 can be adjusted by adjusting the heights of the two adjusting feet 5, whereby not only the use experience of the user can be improved, but also the use cost of the refrigerator 1 can be reduced.
In addition, in the case of carrying the refrigerator 1 or the like, the caster 4 can be brought into contact with the floor surface by rotating the adjustment leg 5 in one direction and contracting it upward, and in this case, the refrigerator 1 can be easily carried or the like by rolling the caster 4. On the other hand, when the refrigerator 1 is to be fixedly set at a certain position, the refrigerator 1 can be firmly supported by rotating the adjustment leg 5 in the opposite direction and extending it downward, thereby moving the adjustment leg 5 downward relative to the caster 4 to separate the caster 4 from the floor surface, and only by the bottom surface of the adjustment leg 5 coming into contact with the floor surface.
The following describes the adjustment leg 5 in detail.
(first embodiment)
Fig. 3A is a perspective view showing an alignment foot according to the present invention, and fig. 3B is a perspective view showing the alignment foot according to the present invention, as viewed from the bottom surface.
As shown in fig. 3A and 3B, the adjusting foot 5 of the present invention mainly includes: a base 6 whose bottom surface is in contact with the ground to firmly support the refrigerator 1 on the ground; and a column member 7 having one end fixed to the center of the base 6 and the other end engaged with the refrigerator supporting mechanism 2 provided on the bottom surface of the refrigerator 1. In the present embodiment, the column member 7 is configured as a threaded rod that is screwed into a threaded hole provided in the refrigerator support mechanism 2. In the present embodiment, the base 6 is formed in a circular shape, and a plurality of cutouts are provided at the circular edge, whereby the frictional force when the adjustment leg 5 is rotated by hand can be increased.
Further, on the upper surface of the base 6, a plurality of (4 in the case shown in fig. 3A) projections 8 are provided at equal intervals around the column member 7 integrally, and the projections 8 have a certain thickness. Each of the protrusions 8 is provided such that, with respect to the radial direction of the base 6 (also, the radial direction of the column member 7), the radially outer end portion is formed as an arc surface parallel to the edge of the base 6, and the radially inner end portions are connected to each other to be integrated. That is, in the present embodiment, the 4 projections 8 are formed in a cross shape as a whole, and the column member 7 is provided at the center position of the cross shape.
Further, each of the bosses 8 is provided with a hole 9 horizontally in a direction perpendicular to the radial direction of the base 6, and the hole 9 serves as an insertion portion in the present invention. The hole 9 may be provided so as to penetrate the projection 8, or may not penetrate the projection 8. Instead of providing the hole 9, a portion of the boss 8 above the hole 9 may be removed, that is, a groove (not shown) may be formed by digging down from the upper surface of the boss 8, and the groove may be used as an insertion portion in the present invention. The size of the hole 9 (or the groove) can be set according to the size of a tool commonly used in ordinary households as described below. Specifically, the diameter of the hole 9 (or the groove) is set to 5 to 6mm, for example, according to the diameter of a screwdriver commonly used in homes.
The operation of the adjustment leg 5 according to the present invention when adjusting is described below with reference to fig. 4 and 5A to C.
As shown in fig. 4, when the adjusting leg 5 of the present invention is adjusted to adjust the balance of the refrigerator 1 and the parallelism of the refrigerating chamber door 2, the user can insert a tool T into any hole 9 of the adjusting leg 5, thereby easily rotating the adjusting leg 5 by the lever action of the tool T. By rotating the adjustment leg 5, the integrally provided column member 7 is also rotated, and is screwed in or screwed out with respect to the screw hole provided in the refrigerator support mechanism 2. Thereby, the height of the adjusting leg 5 is changed, and accordingly, the height of the refrigerator 1 is also changed. When the height of the refrigerator 1 is adjusted to an appropriate position, the rotation of the adjustment leg 5 may be stopped.
Various tools commonly used in homes can be used as the tool T. For example, as shown in fig. 4 and 5A, a hexagonal rod of an appropriate size may be used, as shown in fig. 5B, a metal rod of an appropriate size may be used, and as shown in fig. 5C, a screwdriver of an appropriate size may be used. As shown in fig. 5A to C, when the adjustment is performed using the tool T, the tool T may be inserted into the appropriate hole 9 depending on the direction in which the adjustment leg 5 is to be rotated. Thereby, the general user can also simply adjust the height of the refrigerator 1.
According to the above first embodiment of the present invention, the user can adjust the adjustment foot 5 without using a dedicated adjustment tool, and can use a tool such as a screwdriver that is commonly used at home. Further, since the tool T is inserted deeply into the hole 9 or the groove, the user can apply force stably with ease without worrying about the tool T slipping out of the hole 9 or the groove. As described above, according to the adjusting foot 5 of the refrigerator 1 of the present invention, the user can adjust the adjusting foot conveniently and effectively, and the cost can be reduced without a special tool.
(second embodiment)
Hereinafter, an adjustment leg 51 according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to fig. 6A to C.
As shown in fig. 6A, when the user adjusts the adjustment leg 51, the tool T needs to be inserted into the hole 9 or the groove provided in the adjustment leg 51 from the front side in parallel with the floor surface G. In this case, in the first embodiment of the present invention, when the tool T such as a screwdriver is used, since the screwdriver has a handle and the diameter of the handle may be relatively large, and the hole 9 of the adjustment leg 51 is located at a relatively low position and relatively close to the ground G, the handle of the screwdriver may prevent the screwdriver from being inserted deeply into the hole 9, which may affect the user's effort and thus the adjustment operation.
In contrast, in the second embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6A and 6B, the hole 91 provided in the adjustment leg 51 is inclined with respect to the ground G, that is, with respect to the horizontal direction, and specifically, the hole 91 is advanced downward toward the bottom surface of the adjustment leg 51. When the groove is provided, the bottom surface of the groove is advanced downward toward the bottom surface of the adjustment leg 51. In the case of such an arrangement, when a tool T having a large grip such as a screwdriver is inserted into the hole 91, the tool T is inclined with respect to the ground G without interfering with the ground G, so that the user can smoothly insert the tool T deep into the hole 91 and can stably rotate the adjustment leg 51 with force.
In the second embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 6C, in response to the hole 91 being inclined toward the lower surface of the adjustment leg 51, the opening 10 may be provided in a portion corresponding to the hole 91 on the bottom surface of the adjustment leg 51, and these openings 10 may communicate with the hole 91. Thus, when a tool T having a large grip such as a screwdriver is inserted into the hole 91, the tool T can be further deeply inserted into the hole 91, and the adjustment leg 51 can be further stably rotated.
According to the above second embodiment of the present invention, the user can adjust the adjustment foot 5 without using a dedicated adjustment tool, and can use a tool such as a screwdriver that is commonly used at home. Further, since the tool T can be inserted deeper into the hole 9 or the groove, the user can exert more secure force without worrying about the tool T slipping out of the hole 9 or the groove. As described above, according to the adjusting foot 5 of the refrigerator 1 of the present invention, the user can adjust the adjusting foot conveniently and effectively, and the cost can be reduced without a special tool.
(other embodiments)
In the present description, the base 6 is described as being formed in a circular shape, but the base 6 may be formed in other polygonal shapes such as a triangular shape and a square shape. In this specification, 4 projections 8 are described as being provided, but other projections 8, such as 3 or 5, may be provided. In the present description, the case where the column member 7 is a threaded rod is described, but the column member 7 may be provided in other configurations as appropriate. In the present specification, the case where the opening 10 communicates with the hole 9 is described, but only the inclined hole 9 may be provided without providing the opening 10.
The above description has been made of several embodiments of the present invention, and these embodiments are shown as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. These new embodiments can be implemented in other various ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications thereof are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the claims and the scope equivalent thereto.
