In addition to the heat exchanger 10, a compressor and an expansion valve, which are not shown, are disposed in the casing 2, and these are connected to the heat exchanger 10 by a refrigerant pipe to form a refrigeration cycle.
The feature of embodiment 1 is that the side panels 7 are provided at the corners extending in the height direction, and the side panels function as gripping portions extending over the entire corners and being gripped during transportation. The structure of this feature will be described below.
Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to embodiment 1 of the present invention, as viewed from the rear side of the side panel. Fig. 5 is a perspective view of a side panel of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to embodiment 1 of the present invention.
The side panel 7 is formed of a sheet metal panel, and includes: the side panel body 11 and a flat surface portion 12 extending inward in the left-right direction perpendicularly from a rear end portion of the side panel body 11. The side panel body 11 and the flat surface portion 12 form a corner portion 14 extending in the height direction, and the side panel 7 further includes a holding portion 13 having a shape bent inward from an end of the flat surface portion 12 constituting the corner portion 14. The grip 13 is provided over the corner 14 in the vertical direction.
The side panel body 11, the flat surface portion 12, and the grip portion 13 are integrally formed from one sheet metal panel, the flat surface portion 12 is formed by bending, and the grip portion 13 is formed by hemming. The side panel body 11, the flat surface portion 12, and the grip portion 13 are shaped to follow a hand of a person when the person bends his or her fingers and grips an object, and the grip portion 13 is formed in a curved shape.
Further, the side panel body 11 is formed with a plurality of side panel holes 11a that function as passages for air toward the heat exchanger 10. As shown in fig. 4, the side panels 7 are connected to the top panel 3 and the base panel 4 by screws 24.
Fig. 6 is a diagram showing a situation in which a transport worker grips the grip portion when transporting the outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to embodiment 1 of the present invention.
When the carrier operator grips the grip 13, as shown in fig. 6, the palm abuts against the flat surface portion 12, the thumb abuts against the side panel body 11, and the fingers other than the thumb are bent along the grip 13, so that the grip 13 can be firmly gripped by hand.
Next, the conveyance of the outdoor unit 1 will be described.
As described above, the housing 2 is provided with the plurality of handles 9a to 9c and the grip 13, and the outdoor unit 1 is carried using these handles. The outdoor unit 1 is transported by two transport operators. One transport operator grips the front left handle 9b with the right hand and grips the grip 13 with the left hand. Since the gripping portions 13 are provided over the corners 14 of the side panels 7 in the height direction, the carrier can grip the gripping portions 13 at any position in the height direction when gripping the gripping portions 13. The other conveying operator holds the handle 9c on the rear right side with the right hand and holds the handle 9a on the front right side with the left hand. As described above, the outdoor unit 1 is supported by two conveying operators to convey the casing 2.
As described above, according to embodiment 1, since the grip 13 is formed over the height direction of the outdoor unit 1, when the conveyance operator grips the grip 13, the gripping position in the height direction can be freely selected according to the conveyance situation. As a result, the transportation can be performed safely.
The side panel body 11, the flat surface portion 12, and the grip portion 13 are formed in a shape of a hand when a person bends a finger and grips an object. Therefore, the burden on the hand of the conveying operator can be reduced, and the conveying workability can be improved.
The gripping portions 13 are integrally formed on the side panels 7, and the side panels 7 function not only as panel members constituting the casing 2 but also as members to be gripped during transportation. Therefore, compared to the case where the grip 13 is formed separately from the side panel 7, the manufacturing cost can be reduced, and an inexpensive outdoor unit can be provided.
In addition, the grip 13 contributes to an increase in strength of the housing 2. That is, the side panel 7 having the grip 13 increases the strength against bending in the height direction of the case 2, compared to the case where the side panel 7 is not provided with the grip 13 and is formed of an L-shaped sheet metal panel composed of the side panel main body 11 and the flat surface portion 12. The strength of the case 2 can be improved.
Embodiment 2.
Embodiment 2 relates to a configuration in which a hand is less likely to slip when gripping the grip portion 13. Hereinafter, the configuration of embodiment 2 different from embodiment 1 will be mainly described.
Fig. 7 is a perspective view showing a left side panel of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to embodiment 2 of the present invention.
The side panel 7 of embodiment 2 is provided with a slip prevention structure 20 extending over the grip 13 from the rear end (left side in fig. 7) of the side panel body 11 and extending over the height direction. Specifically, the antiskid structure 20 is configured by attaching an antiskid rubber 20a, which is another antiskid member, to the side panel 7. The left end portion of the side panel body 11 to which the anti-slip rubber 20a is bonded is set to a target range to which the thumb reaches when the grip 13 is gripped.
Fig. 8 is a diagram showing a situation in which a transport operator grips the grip portion when transporting the outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to embodiment 2 of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 8, when the grip 13 is gripped, the anti-slip structure 20 is provided in the region of the area that the hand of the carrier touches, and therefore the outdoor unit 1 can be prevented from slipping off the hand of the carrier. Although the antiskid structure 20 is provided over the entire area in which the hand of the carrier operator comes into contact, the antiskid effect can be exhibited if at least the grip 13 is provided.
According to embodiment 2, the same effects as those of embodiment 1 can be obtained, and the anti-slip structure 20 is provided on the side panel 7, so that the outdoor unit 1 can be prevented from slipping off the hand of the carrier operator.
In the above description, the anti-slip structure 20 is made of the anti-slip rubber 20a, but may be formed by applying a surface treatment having an anti-slip function to the outer surface of the side panel 7. In this case, even when the transport operator carries the outdoor unit 1 while holding the grip 13, the outdoor unit 1 can be prevented from slipping off the hand of the transport operator.
Embodiment 3.
Embodiment 3 relates to a technique for improving the safety of the transportation work by changing the shape of the anti-slip rubber 20a of embodiment 2. Hereinafter, the configuration of embodiment 3 different from embodiment 2 will be mainly described.
The anti-slip rubber 20a according to embodiment 2 is configured such that the end portion on the grip portion 13 side coincides with the tip of the grip portion 13. In contrast, the anti-slip rubber 20b according to embodiment 3 has the following configuration shown in fig. 9.
Fig. 9 is an explanatory view of an anti-slip rubber of an outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to embodiment 3 of the present invention.
The anti-slip rubber 20b according to embodiment 3 is configured to include an anti-cut portion 20c covering the edge 13a on the distal end side of the grip portion 13 in addition to the anti-slip rubber 20a according to embodiment 2 shown in fig. 8. The anti-slip rubber 20b is also integrally formed of the same material as the whole including the cut preventing portion 20 c. Specifically, the cut-preventing portion 20c can be configured by, for example, extending the length of the anti-slip rubber 20a, folding back at the distal end portion of the grip portion 13, and adhering the folded-back portion to the back side of the grip portion 13.
The gap 21 corresponding to the shortest distance between the cut-preventing portion 20c and the side panel body 11 of the side panel 7 is set to be sufficiently smaller than the width 22 of the fingertip of the assumed carrying operator (hereinafter referred to as the fingertip width).
According to embodiment 3, the same effects as those of embodiment 2 can be obtained, and the following effects can be obtained by providing the anti-slip rubber 20b with the cut preventing portion 20 c. That is, when the transport operator holds the grip 13, the fingers can be prevented from being cut by the edge 13a of the grip 13, and the safety of the transport operation can be improved.
The gap 21 corresponding to the shortest distance between the cut-preventing portion 20c and the side panel body 11 of the side panel 7 is set to be sufficiently smaller than the fingertip width 22. Therefore, the fingertips of the conveying operator can be prevented from being caught in the gap 21, and the safety of the conveying operation can be further improved.
In the above embodiments, the structure in which the panel provided with the grip 13 is the side panel 7 and the grip 13 is provided at the corner on the far left side has been described, but the position at which the grip 13 is provided is not limited to this position, and may be provided at, for example, the corner on the near left side. In short, the grip 13 may be provided at a corner portion extending in one direction in the housing 2. In each embodiment, the grip portion 13 is formed at one corner portion, but may be provided at a plurality of corner portions.
